It's situated on top of the store and there's a small little 'boutique' next to the cafe. They also have a patio that must have a great view in the summer. The store down below also sells bread from the bakery and they sell savory pies that I've never tried but look quite good.

The burger had onions and bread crumbs in the patty, which I know is a deal breaker for a lot of people, but it was a pretty good burger and I had no issue with that. The Caesar was good and had lots of cheese. Everyone else was relatively happy with their lunch: another "Steve Burger," a salmon burger, and a goat-cheese, chicken pizza. I had a bottle of beer with my lunch, but someone at my table opted to have water. I have had well-water before and I have had softened water, and this was salty, softened water. I took a sip and it was really salty. I get that it is what comes out of the tap, but if your water is that salty, you should be serving bottled water or have a more sophisticated filtration system. My table-mate asked for iced-tea or lemonade, but they were out. So, overall, it was a nice lunch, nothing spectacular, but who knows how much sodium I had if the food was made with salty water. Sunday's offering arrived with limp fries and GELATINOUS gravy that honest-to-god tasted like they added more salt to a horrible powder along with some tepid water. The fries were floppy and bad... either cooked in the morning and microwaved, or they just don't know how to bring the fryer up to temperature. I bought a marinated flank steak that was amazing on the BBQ tonight. They also carry some great sauces, including my favourite Rufus and Teague Blazing Hot sauce. You can buy frozen pies from The Big Apple, which are the best pies around. They have a burger shack inside....sadly I was too early. Some other time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the boss a really good man. This was a great discovery and I will happily drive the 25 km to get there. Very highly recommended.
