I have had a lot of experiences - good and bad - and I can honestly say that Eyezone is the best I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in the door to the beautiful lobby, you are greeted warmly. Before my appointment, they were very helpful with answering questions about certain exams that my insurance covered. The forms were easy to fill out (most of them you can do online beforehand) and before I knew it, the appointment had began. The pre-exam was an absolute breeze. I was ushered from room to room with speed, though I didn't feel like anything was being missed. I just got the sense that they understood that my time was valuable and wanted to make everything as efficient as possible. After that, I didn't wait in the exam room that long before my doctor was there. She was just amazing. Conversation with her was so easy, something I rarely experience with a medical professional. She did the standard tests and figured out my vision perfectly, and she was great about answering questions I had and even mentioning that pregnancy and breastfeeding can change my vision a bit, something that not even my medical doctor had told me! She was extremely knowledgeable and I found it easy to trust everything she said. When it was time to pick out my glasses, the gal that helped me was equally awesome. She was patient with my picky self, and chose a frame that I never would've picked up and it turned out to be the perfect fit for my facial structure. She was very up-front about what my insurance covered, and the options that I had with my high prescription. She had a smile on her face the entire time and made me feel so welcome. Overall, it is clear that everyone in this office works hard to create a comforting and warm environment. They are efficient and diligent, but slow down for questions and concerns where needed. Posting this for both the westlake and lakewood office…read more After a months long saga I finally have a functional pair of glasses. It started out at their Lakewood location when I got my first pair of glasses that broke almost immediately. Fine. We reorder a new pair. I go in 3 weeks later to check in on the contacts. They haven't even reordered the glasses. So we try this again. Get the glasses 4 weeks later but they break again. Request a brand new pair. Have to go to their Westlake office with larger selection. Charge me $50 for a "refitting" despite the fact they sold me crappy glasses. Wait another month for the new glasses. I call the Westlake office a month later and they apparently just came in and "are here for pickup." Go to the Westlake office and find out they are actually at the Lakewood office. At the Lakewood office and they say their opticians are very busy and we will need time to adjust the frames. By this point, my whole afternoon has been shot. I explain to the person that I am pretty frustrated after having been at this for over an hour and if they can get to things quicker. See on the opticians desk that the lady at the front desk messaged her on teams saying I needed a refitting and had a "huge attitude." Some of these things were not their fault. A lot of them are. I will not be coming back next year.

Dr. Thomas was first class from the beginning all the way through my Lasik eye surgery! I went in…read morefor a consultation and his staff at the desk were very friendly and attentive. They do a series of tests to see if you are a candidate for Lasik and to measure your prescription to see how much your eyes have changed since your last eye doctor appointment. All the tests were standard that you see at your eye doctor and didn't hurt a bit. My eyes were -5, meaning I was near-sighted. I also suffered from astigmatism. Dr. Thomas assured me that my eyes were very healthy and I was a great candidate for the surgery. The consultation was $100 and if you aren't a candidate it is refunded. If you elect to get your surgery through his office, the money is used toward the cost of the surgery. The friendly staff were able to schedule a surgery just 3 days after the exam! I was relieved to see Dr. Thomas was able to answer all of my questions about what to expect at the surgery and the recovery time afterwards. Dr. Thomas called me personally the night before the surgery to see if I had any more questions and how I was feeling leading up to it. The day of the surgery, I was explained in detail how to take care of my eyes and how to use the eye drops prescribed to me.The surgery was a breeze! I didn't feel any pain and it only lasted 20 seconds per eye! Even walking out of the office, I had vision close to 20/20! By that evening, I was seeing crystal clear! Dr. Thomas went above and beyond! He even called me in the evening to see how my recovery was going! After a few hours, I felt like a million bucks!
