Unfortunately, in the post covid world, they've eliminated the few dine-in options so it's take out only. They have weird hours, the staff are always gossiping, and their pizza is not good (pre-made frozen crust). Good news though -- you don't come for the pizza you come for the subs regardless of their name. A warning is in order, to come here you must love onions (I mean really really love'em). The sub has chip chop ham (not a premo cut), bologna, lettuce, tomato, banana peps and loads of ONIONS! East end's onions are sliced really thin, chopped to about 1/2" and are marinated in oil and vinegar. This is literally an onion sub and East End's onions are the best! I typically go medium green (pictured) and the different variations usually mean more or less hot pepper seeds. Pair with another one of PA's finest, Middleswarth BBQ chips, to feel like you are a true born Central Pennsylvanian (oh to dream). It's a toss up on who's got the best Tyrone sub though (there's a copy cat down the street). Apparently, the original Owner sold the recipe when he sold this restaurant. Both subs are similar but different and I switch it up to keep things spicy. Try both together and buy some gum, you'll need it!

It's on the outskirts of Tyrone, and almost halfway to Port Matilda, but it was worth the short drive! It's conveniently located just off I-99 and South Eagle Road / Pennsylvania Avenue. We ordered a few pizzas and a stromboli, and everyone was very happy with them. Food was prepared quickly, staff seemed friendly, and it looked like a family-friendly place you can dine out as well. It's decorated with a lot of fire station items and memorabilia from around the country. Pricing for the menu items was very reasonable. If we're back in the area again, we'll try to dine in!

We started with Chicken wings. I've had better but these weren't bad. They were pretty expensive but that was more due to spiraling inflation due to the ineptitude of the Washington bureaucrats currently running things. We also got an extra large pizza, which everyone enjoyed. Not once did we have to call the waiter. He kept our soda refills coming and checked numerous times to see if we needed anything. Service was fast and smooth. Something of an anomaly now a days with many eateries complaining about being short staffed while service crawls. None of that here. All in all a nice night out. I'll be back soon!!
