In other words fresh and sharp where you can go from a whiteboard in the board room to a direct flight to Las Vegas and walk into Hakkasan.. "dress to impress". I had tried a whole bunch of stores prior to walking into here. It's kind of tucked away and not noticeable. Right next to the potato stand and across from Foot Locker. They had been in that mall at other locations for 6 years and I was surprised to hear that I missed this place and never even noticed. Better late than never I guess. I had assistance from "Azeal"? I think that was her name, she was a sales associate but was nice and had a good sense of style so I asked her and my wife to collaborate and they put together a nice ensemble from shoe to shirt. I got: 2 new blazers, jacket, 5 dress shirts, dress shoes, and pants for about 770$ (incl tax).. not bad compared to the 5-10K$ I drop at Men's Warehouse. I also met Jason, the manager and he was also very nice and even showed me some pending new arrivals. I'll definitely be back. A few weeks before the wedding we found out we would be having an outdoor wedding due to the Governor's restrictions. An outdoor wedding in December in Washington....who would've thought! Two weeks came and went with no phone call or update. I had to take the initiative to follow up multiple times, despite being told they would call me back with updates, which never happened. I called on the 12th, 21st, 22nd, and again later that week, and each time I was given a different story. Finally, on the 22nd, only 8 days before prom I was told the dresses were being held up in Portland. By that point, I had completely lost trust in their communication and customer service. The lack of follow-up, transparency, and urgency created so much unnecessary stress and anxiety during what should have been an exciting time for my daughter. Again, I had to reach out when I didn't hear back by the 26th, I still had to continue reaching out myself for an update!!! I finally received a call from Jen on the 27th, just 3 days before prom, saying the dresses had arrived around 2:30 PM. I had to leave work early to rush over so my daughter could try them on, choose one, and then quickly get it to alterations in time. What disappointed me most was not just the delay, but the complete lack of initiative, communication, accountability, or even a simple apology. After reading another recent review describing a very similar experience, it's concerning that this seems to be a pattern. I will not be returning, and I'm sharing this review in hopes of saving other parents from the same stress, frustration, and last-minute panic that we experienced.

When I contacted the shop, they showed zero sympathy for how important the evening was and offered no apology or compensation whatsoever. They insisted that if the zipper was going to fail, it would have done so in the store -- "never" outside of it. Their solution was to fix the zipper the following day, which was completely unacceptable since the dress was needed that night. To make matters worse, they wanted me to drive over an hour to University Village at 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter stuck in the broken dress so they could "inspect" the zipper. My daughter was part of a group of 11 seniors headed to professional pictures, dinner, and the prom--time was extremely limited. This lack of understanding and flexibility made a very stressful situation even worse. When I expressed my desire for a refund, I was told it was outside their 30-day window and no refund or exchange would be offered. When we purchased the dress, we were told we had to buy it immediately to have it in time for the dance--essentially protecting them from any responsibility, no matter the circumstances. Adding insult to injury, when my daughter tried contacting the woman for help to get out of the dress, her calls went unanswered and were never returned. We were also wrongly accused of zipping the dress incorrectly and misaligning the zipper teeth. Anyone who has dealt with formal dresses knows it takes more than one person to zip these dresses. None of the teeth were damaged, and the zipper was not misaligned -- my daughter was fully zipped into the dress before it failed. They clearly don't care about your special evening; the money is the only thing that matters. I cannot recommend this shop for formal dresses. There are shops that care far deeper than your pockets. This is not one of them!!!!
