Very rarely do i give five stars to a place because most places can never do things right but i wish this owner all the success in the world! You could really taste the authenticity in the food feels like eating right out of a homemmade thai kitchen with quality ingredients and i love how the owner herself is the chef and even comes greets you and despite being the only one cooking, food came out so fast, perfectly heated, SO flavorful!! Never had better thai food in all of south bay or LA county for that matter. it is a small little spot in redondo so i could see more people leaning toward takeout but its nice to dine in to eat it fresh. I think she could optimize her place ambiance to make it into a dine in or if she got a larger location because honestly the quality of the food is so good she deserves to not only have takeout but a full on restaurant dine in experience!

Apparently this restaurant was known as Siam I Am. I hadn't dined here for a while and decided to stop in for a quick dinner. When we arrived it was apparent the "chef@ was also the hostess. As a result we waited quite a while to be greeted and seated. I should note that the chef did arrive about thirty minutes later. I ordered the Waan Om Khom Kluean yellow chicken curry and my guest had the deeb Sao Thai Pad Thai with shrimp. I also ordered a Thai ice tea and the server forgot to bring it. I had to remind her after my meal was almost finished. To me the chicken curry had a terrible unappetizing presentation. It looked like shredded chicken and big lumps of potatoes. In fast that's what it was. While the taste was pretty good, the over abundance of potatoes felt like a filler for less chicken. It was a decent dish but far from one of my favorites. The Pad Thai looked a lot better. My guest said it was good, not great, and that he'd order it again. Now to the price. Nearly $70 including the two dishes, one Thai ice tea and rice. This was not fine dining. I realize they have bills to pay but it was much more than I've paid at other Thai restaurants for similar meals. All parking is on the street. One need a bit of courage to park on PCH as passing cars make it scary to open the driver's door. Cars were flying by in the 40's and 50's and it's a very unsafe parking location.

Don't be fooled by the sign outside that still says "Siam I am". This is Jeeb. It's tiny. 4 tables. But the flavors are huge. If you love Thai food, you must check this place out.

Unbelievable AUTHENTIC little thai restaurant on PCH. Chef must is from Thailand and you can tell. The flavors are much different than our regular thai places. Server was super helpful and very nice. Place is quaint. (It's still brand new and the sign still says Siam outside) Worth the $$$. Curry noodle is a must.

Our larb salad was painfully salty to the point where it couldn't be enjoyed on its own and the kang kio wan curry was somehow watery and bland. Both the pork and beef were overcooked and tough. When you dine in they bring metal cups with an icy cold carafe of cold water to your table. Customer service is efficient. The person behind the counter is very soft spoken and gives you a slight smile but gets your order correct every time. Hands down so don't argue with me they have the absolute BEST orange chicken. It has a slight crunch on the outside while tender and juicy in the inside. The orange sauce is perfection. It has a great balance of salty and sweet without being overly sweet like an orange candy. It's not tart and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. They put the right amount of sauce so it is not drenched. Pair it with the garlic rice and the salad that crops and fresh no dressing is even needed. Order this and you will be happy. The regular white rice is good too! The Zapp chicken is crunchy, juicy and spicy. I normally cannot eat spicy but this one is perfect. Since my 24 year old son told me about this restaurant I've been here four times in the past month. Simply delicious!!!

I couldn't stop even though my order was a pretty large portion! Honestly this could be easily shared by 2 people. The chicken isn't "heavy" so it's quite easy to just eat a lot. I'm only docking a star because the boba left a lot to be desired. The tea itself was fine but the boba formed clumps and it was difficulty to drink through the straw. It's located in a tiny strip mall but there's a good amount of parking. Service was fast. We ordered on a tablet and sat at a table. There were a couple of dirty tables but as we ate, we saw them clean up. Will I be back? Absolutely! Can't wait to try other menu items.

When I suggested one of our usual dinner spots, my wife said, "Hey, let's go to that Thai place you've been wanting to try." Well, reporting back. It's outstanding. From the dramatic Polynesian-inspired roofline and colorful glass panels that give the space an almost church-like feel to the warm, inviting interior, the place has a ton of character. But the real star is the food. Every dish was incredibly flavorful, perfectly prepared, and not the least bit greasy. Honestly, just delicious. The portions are generous too. We ordered three dishes and still came home with leftovers. The highlight of the evening was meeting Ben, whose parents opened the restaurant many years ago. His dad still comes in every morning to make the curry bases from scratch. That kind of family pride and dedication really shows in the food. What a delightful place. Five stars for the food, the atmosphere, and the service. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars!

Everything was ordered EXTRA SPICY -- Level 5 through the online menu. When we got home, we took our first bites and immediately thought, "Wait... did they give us someone else's food?" No spice. Zero. Barely any flavor at all. This wasn't Level 5. This wasn't Level 1. This was apparently Level 0: Thai food for people who are afraid of black pepper. So we called the restaurant. The woman who answered told us, incredibly confidently, that they don't make their food spicy. Excuse me... what? This is a Thai restaurant. We have ordered spicy food from Swan Thai before. And, more importantly, your own online ordering system literally has spice levels, including Level 5. So either the online menu is completely meaningless, or someone in the restaurant has decided that customers no longer deserve to know what they're ordering. We asked to speak with a manager. Apparently, there was no manager. We asked for the owner. We were told the owners "come and go as they want." So who exactly is running this place? Is it just a group project where everyone shows up, does whatever they want, and hopes nobody asks questions? The food was so bland and disappointing that we barely ate it. And honestly, after the ridiculous phone conversation, we didn't even have much interest in finishing it. What makes this worse is that I used to like Swan Thai. That's why this was so disappointing. Restaurants can have an off day, but when the food is wrong, the online menu contradicts what an employee tells you, and there apparently isn't even a manager available to address the issue, that's more than an off day. Swan Thai, you used to be much better. Somewhere along the way, the food lost its flavor and the customer service apparently lost its direction. I won't be making the mistake of ordering here again.
