    Chicken Satay

Food has always been cooked an no issues. Until today. Pretty sure I was just eating uncooked chicken. I called to notify, they apologized and offered to replace it. Don't wish to drive out. I'll be back, but more mindful to see if chicken is cooked next time. Bummer.

Came here a few years back and its gone downhill a bit since then. One thing I really enjoy is the atmosphere but thats about it now. The portions are pretty small for what you are paying for. The pad see ew used to be really good but now it lacks flavor. The phanaeng curry wasn't terrible and had a very prominent flavor profile. Service is pretty bad, unfriendly and dont even greet you when you walk in. No wonder this place is empty. Will not be back

    Drunken Noodles with fish

I ordered Drunken Noodles with fish. Very dry and the fish is deep fried. And hardly any fish. It was more like a chuck of dough. 27 dollars just for that order. Maybe I'll order something different next time. Service was good and ambiance is good and clean.

This is a great spot to go to! The food, ambiance and service is good, and the prices aren't terrible. I wouldn't say it's anything special, but I haven't explored the entire menu so I could be missing hidden gems! I enjoyed the beef Pad Thai I got, it felt fresh. The wonton soup had a really nice broth, although I found the wontons a little too gingery. It also only had two shrimps, but there was shrimp inside the wonton, so that wasn't a big deal.

    Seafood soup with coconut milk

So the wife and I were hungry (starving) and decided we were in the mood for Thai. We had been here before, and decided we wanted to try the seafood soup but with coconut milk. To start we had the firecracker appetizer which were shrimp wrapped in an egg roll form topped served with a sweet and sour sauce. These were delicious and got our appetites going. To drink we got their delicious Thai iced tea. Usually it's a hit or miss at certain restaurants with these drinks cause they are either too sweet or not prepped correctly. Here they are amazing. The seafood soup was delicious with the coconut milk and we were able to substitute the mussels for extra shrimp. That was a nice detail. Service was good especially knowing it was the waitress' first day on the job and got our order correct. Last we got their pad Thai with beef which was good but my wife said it was a bit saucy but good. Overall a nice experience to eat here on a weekend since it's never too crowded and the wait time is never bad.

Chicken Satay, Tom Kha Soup, Fried Rice.
    Johnny M.

Tom Kha Soup was excellent! Slightly sweet, but mostly creamy and comforting. I don't know why I waited so long to come back. Chicken Satay is sooooo good!!! The fried rice was a little disappointing, but still solid. I will probably try the garlic rice next time or just stick to the brown rice. I love the attentive service and super tranquil vibe inside! Please visit & keep this gem afloat!

    Orange Chicken

At the end of a strip mall with plenty of parking. There was inside and outside seating. We sat wherever we wanted and our drink orders were taken right away. My wife had orange chicken and it was very good. The star of the night was the asparagus seafood, wow it was good. I've never had an asparagus dish with this much asparagus. The dishes didn't come with rice, but I highly recommend getting some. The sauce in this dish with rice was excellent. You need to try this place!

The music was good and sports were available if that's your thing Cons: It took 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and at that time I was told they could not fulfill a portion of my order, I withdrew my order of rice and bang bang sauce. After 30 more minutes most of our order came out with the exception of the garlic bread. I was told that it takes a significant amount of time to make and asked if i wanted something else instead. I felt an hour for two burritos was excessive so declined adding anything else. Moments later my bread appeared. It took a full hour and some change to receive our order which I thought was unreasonable, especially since at this point we were the only patrons. Overall: Food was alright, reasonably priced, and portions were aligned with the price. However, I would recommend ordering ahead or anticipate a long wait time. When we went we were one of two patrons but it seemed they had a fair stream of take out orders. I frequent the area but do not live nearby and nothing caught my attention enough to return.

The service was amazing -- servers and bussers were constantly checking in, refilling drinks, and making sure we had everything we needed. Easily 10/10 service once you're seated. The food? Delicious. Seriously, no complaints there. Just a heads up: if you don't like garlic, this might not be your spot because they don't hold back. I've lived close by for years and I gotta say, after coming to Quality Seafood twice (once in Nov…read more '25 and in March '26), I will definitely stop taking this South Bay gem for granted. I've only had the pleasure of having the following items below, but I'll be back in the coming years to try more. - Calamari [7.7/10]: regardless of what size you order, the portion is generous. This place doesn't overdue it with the batter and lets the flavor the fresh squid shine - which I adore. Only giving this dish its rating because there are a few Italian spots in Torrance that have my heart when it comes to the best calamari. - Fish Tacos [8.5/10]: Every bite gives a nice crunch of both batter and fish. I've had unpleasant experiences where I've had pockets of crispy batter, here the fish tacos are so great it actually doesn't need much support from lemon and/or tartar sauce. Be sure to order a couple of these bad boys during happy hour for $5 each. - Clam Chowder [8.3/10]: This place hits the mark on the texture of a classic chowder. Admittedly my cup could have used a touch of salt. I would have liked a bigger portion for what I paid for, but if you're in the mood for something hot to compliment your fried seafood - this is worth getting. This is also featured on the happy hour menu for $5 - Garlic Fries [10/10]: My favorite bite from this place so far. Not on the happy hour menu, but 100% worth getting and eating with your fish, shrimp, crab, lobster, etc. Perfect amount of seasoning and that white wet sauce on top is so so so addicting. The unsung hero of my most recent visit was Jose over at Station 20. In addition to taking my order, he single handedly called out orders for everyone by the dining the area during the end of happy hour rush. A whole wave of customers came in less than 10 mins I placed my order so I can only imagine how overwhelming things were on the service side of things. For my most recent visit, most of my order came in and my garlic fries came in last. I could tell there was a mix up in the kitchen, but Jose apologized and said a new order would be ready for me in less than 5. Definitely worth the delay/wait imo. Food is great. Seating is limited. Customer service is superb. But once you fish your food, you gotta take a long walk along the pier. It's a wonderful way to rejuvenate and make sure the quality seafood digests well. Can't wait to explore more of the menu, including the happy hour drinks.

I've been coming to Quality Seafood for the past couple of years, usually on Fridays for fish…read moretacos, and I've ordered the same fish taco and shrimp taco combination 40 to 50 times. It has generally been a place I've enjoyed and recommended, which is why this stood out. There's always been some normal inconsistency in portion. Some days the fish is bigger, some days smaller. Same with the shrimp, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. That never bothered me. It's part of a busy seafood counter, and I've never felt the need to say anything. What I got today was different. The fish taco was on the small side and dry, but the shrimp taco was the issue. It was served fried, very dark, and overcooked to the point the shrimp was tough. When I opened it after a few bites, I realized I was mostly eating tortilla and toppings. There were only about three shrimp total, which is noticeably less than what I've consistently received here before. In prior visits, I've also been asked whether I want my tacos grilled or fried, including the shrimp, and I've consistently chosen the lighter, non-fried option. What I received today was not that. I approached the counter politely and simply said the taco wasn't good, pointing out the quality and portion issue. I wasn't trying to make a scene and I'm not someone who returns food, especially over something this small. I was more pointing it out so it didn't keep happening. I was told nothing could be refunded because I had taken a few bites, so I asked to speak with a manager. That's where this went sideways. Instead of listening, the manager immediately dismissed it. She repeatedly told me that what I described was "not possible," insisted they have never prepared shrimp any differently in her 27 years there, and said they only ever serve three shrimp. As someone who has ordered this exact item many times, I was essentially being told that my own experience did not happen. The conversation ended with me being asked to leave. I've worked in and managed restaurants. Mistakes and inconsistencies happen. This was a simple situation that could have been handled in seconds, either by replacing the taco or offering a refund. Instead, it was denied outright and escalated. This wasn't about a $5 taco. It was about how it was handled. Being told that your repeated experience is "not possible" and then being asked to leave is not an acceptable way to handle a reasonable concern.
