Been here a couple of times when I'm in the area and I can say this is def a really good date spot but def come before sunset as the ocean view is marvelous (I totally forgot to take a pic). There's ample amount of parking as it's in a huge shopping plaza. It's also easy to find this plaza as it's at the end of Hawthorne. I can safely say the food here is a solid 3. Everything we've tried is decent. We've tried the coconut soup, pho, spicy beef salad, spicy beef basil, and crab fried rice. The fried crab rice came with a piece of soft shell crab on top which was quit tasty. The hot Ginger tea is pretty good here. We're def here more for the scenery then food as it is amazing. The relaxing outdoor theme with the ocean view. It draws us here every time we are near. A solid 5 for the ambient hence the 4 star rating. I'm pretty sure we will be back again when we're in the area.

What I love most about Swan is the picture-perfect oceanfront setting--it's the kind of place where you can truly relax, take in the fresh coastal air, and soak up that beautiful California sunshine. The atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit. On top of that, the Thai menu is incredibly expansive, with so many delicious options to choose from. Everything I experienced--from the quality of the food to the friendliness of the staff--was consistently excellent. It's easy to see why this spot is considered a must-try and often makes LA bucket lists. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, especially on weekends, as it gets quite busy. Overall, it's an amazing experience from start to finish. You really have to visit and see it for yourself.

Only good things here at SwanThai. Made a reservation ahead of time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess Elyse who was very polite, courteous and friendly. We were seated within a few minutes at an "ocean view/beachside" table that had phenomenal views while the sun was setting. Our waiter Cameron promptly greeted us after being seated at our table, and was helpful in recommending certain drinks and appetizers. He was great! We had a second waitress Chloe who brought out some of our dishes as well once the food was ready who was also very courteous. Great job Swan Thai management for having attentive and courteous staff members! As for the food. For starters, we ordered the cream cheese puffs and crispy spring rolls. Both were delicious! Our group for main entrees ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, Pad See Ewe with chicken, Teriyaki Salmon, and my favorite.... The crispy pork over rice!!! 10/10 for me! For dessert, our table shared the Mango Sticky Rice which was very tasty as well! Great location, great staff, amazing food! Will be back soon!!

DO NOT COME HERE esp DURING HOLIDAYS. They are doing some shady stuff here or trying to scam people. ALWAYS, always check your receipts. Small or big. Most people either in a rush or having too much of a good time and drinking will not notice or have time to check. Came here for Mother's Day 2026. Extremely busy. When the bill came they added and tacked on 5 EXTRA ITEMS that racked up to $200. Something was off good thing it was checked before charging the card. It would've been a headache. Immediately checked in with them and they made an excuse saying someone else must've messed up. Someone wasn't paying attention and made a mistake or they're adding extra items in there. That could add up imagine how many tables they get per holiday. I've been wanting to make a review of this place years ago also but never got the chance when I took my dad here for Father's Day and his birthday. Extremely rude customer service.

We ordered takeout while staying at Terranea couple days ago. The ordering process was easy as we walked up to their counter set up near their entrance. We ordered crab fried rice and panang chicken curry. The curry was tasty and we had enough for a small lunch the next day. The crab fried rice was ok. Except for the soft shell crab on top, we didn't see any other crab in the rice. The order came out quickly and we were able to eat and watch the World Series in our room.

Delicious food. Beautiful view. And good service. One of the best mango sticky rice I've try.

Food was just decent, youre just paying for the views. Expensive for the portion and quality though. We got the tom yum soup and pad see ew and it was just alright, nothing special. Tom yum was bland, pad see ew beef was hard and too chewy, pad see ew noodles were sweeter than typical authentic ones. You can get better ones at a cheaper place. Service was good, servers check up on you often. Views were beautiful since youre near the ocean.

First of all, just absolutely gorgeous views. I loved the vibe of the patio. The retractable sunshade and the lights were a great touch transitioning to evening. But I wish the food was better. I got pad see ewe and Thai iced tea. The portion was small but I'm normally fine with that. But my noodles were way too sweet. I've never had pad see ewe taste so much like sugar and not at all like soy sauce. It made the Thai iced tea not taste sweet. Maybe it was just an off day. My friends all seemed to enjoy their food so it might be my dish was the one off. Otherwise, our service was friendly and fast and I had a good time. So I'll probably give it another shot in the future.

The good: I came here for my birthday lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the flavors. I tried calamari rings, crab fried rice, papaya salad and panang curry. The crab fried rice was good and even came with an entire battered and deep fried soft shell crab. The panang curry packed good heat. The papaya salad had good fish sauce flavor, a good amount of acidity and was nice and spicy. The outdoor seating was very spacious and we had an ocean view with heated outdoor lamps that kept the space cozy. We got a free birthday cake dessert which was a nice touch. I thought the prices were fair and the view was amazing. There's plenty of parking. The food all came out surprisingly quick. The bad: The batter on the rings was a bit hard and the rings were a bit chewy. I didn't care for the fake flowers on the ceiling. They had lots of real flowers and bushes with flowers outside that were gorgeous though. One of the outdoor light bulbs by our table was broken and was a hazard/risk. The interesting: They have non-Thai food options too like pho.

Portion size was extremely small for a 20$ item. I purchased two orange chickens as part of the DoorDash promotion and I am extremely disappointed with the portion size. This is one portion split into two containers. The quality of the food was also low. It appeared to be sauce put into the bottom of the tray and the friend chicken thrown on top. There was no effort to toss the chicken in the sauce.

Definitely a regular here, I usually get the pleasing garlic and it is delicious. I appreciate the fast service, great prices, friendly service, and opulent views!

Great Thai spot right by the water! Service is a little slow but salads and soup are a hit. We also got the pad Thai which is a bit sweet but if that's your preference.

Finally came here! Thai food is my favorite so Thai food with views? Yes please!! I came for my birthday dinner on a Sunday evening. It wasn't full. It's located in a plaza so parking was easy. I did make reservations around the time of sunset so we enjoyed the sunset while eating. We were greeted and seated right away. When you enter, it's just as beautiful as you see in the pictures. We ordered the coconut shrimp and calamari for appetizers. The coconut shrimp blew me away! We also ordered the honey bbq ribs, pad se ew with chicken and yellow curry with chicken with rice. Everything was delicious but the top was the honey bbq ribs. I normally don't order this at a Thai restaurant but I'll def look into it more often because I def enjoyed these! The service was nice and friendly. It was so nice and peaceful. I look forward to coming back!

One of my favorite spots on the Peninsula to slow down, grab a drink, and let the night unfold. The room has great energy, ocean views, glowing fireplaces, and a crowd that's clearly happy to be there. It's the kind of place where you settle into a chair, sip something strong, and suddenly two hours disappear. What makes it special is the live music. Local musicians play most nights from about 7-11pm, creating the perfect soundtrack for the evening. This past Saturday we stopped in after dinner at Nelson's on the property, an excellent combination. We caught Olivia Pucci, who lit up the Terranea lobby in a striking red dress, delivering smooth, soulful vocals that set the tone immediately. Her mix of pop, jazz, and mellow classics is perfect for cocktails and oceanfront vibes, backed by a tight trio on piano/keyboard and guitar. Honestly, this is Palos Verdes at its best: great drinks, live music, ocean air drifting in, and a relaxed crowd enjoying the moment. The best nights are the ones where you stop watching the clock and just soak it all in, this is exactly that kind of place.

And I were so excited to come to - The Gingerbread lounge. Which is located inside their main lobby bar. It's a small little pop up bar decorated like a gingerbread house and other fun Christmas decorations (Anything at this resort is beautiful. Especially during the holidays) so it's safe to say the atmosphere is great. The gingerbread lounge offers -Cocktails -Mocktails -snacks / desserts. mostly cookies. They have about 12 different sweets. And it runs from -November 29, to Friday, January 2; weekdays from 4 to 10 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 10 p.m.  Unfortunately, we got there and it was closed. There's a few different dates circulating around saying it closes on the 2, 3rd and one place Even said the 5th. A worker did say they closed before the end date though. (We should have called. Especially with a couple different dates circulating for the gingerbread lounge) So we were not able to enjoy the gingerbread lounge. However, they did have enough to make 2 different cocktails from their limited menu. Which I got the- CLAUSMOPOLITAN - Ketel One Oranje Vodka, Cranberry and Vanilla Bean Puree, Lime Juice and a Frosted Sugar Rim (I don't think they did the sugar rim. Which is fine. They were out of everything from the pop up bar) They were all out of the dessert options from the gingerbread bar So we ordered from the regular menu. We got a lobby seat. Which, the lobby is very nice. Has great seating, couches and etc. has a couple fire places. I went to the bar and asked them how it worked. I was able to have my drink made, and I took it to my table while he sent the waiter over to take our other orders. Carson was very very friendly. But since it was busy he really wasn't to be found I ordered the-MARGHERITA PIZZA fior di latte, tomato sauce, basil (This is a one size pizza, it's not huge, but it's great if you're sharing other things) this was delicious But I'll be honest. I came for the drinks. I asked the bartender at the main bar area if he could make me something special. I wanted the - pornstar (he laughed, and agreed to it) Carson, our server dropped it off at our table right at the same time as Michelle's drink came out. Michelle had the -EQUINOX * lyre's agave blanco, hibiscus, lemon (This was delicious AND beautiful. Loved the color of it) Michelle also ordered -CARAMEL CRÈME BRULEE CHEESECAKE caramel cheesecake, crème brulee, baci crust seasonal berries tossed in mango passion compote I then had the bartender pick a drink for me. He went with the very popular-UNDER THE PALMS. tito's handmade vodka, lillet rosé, lemongrass, pandan, lemon, coconut water Very refreshing! I could drink these at the pool or at a polo match and just relax. P.S- this place also offers flights! It was also a very very rainy day. And valet was amazing!!!!! He saw me walking in heels and carrying Michelle's gift bag and my purse. He stood next to me with the umbrella. I kept telling him he didn't have to and I actually love the rain lol. But he insisted. As soon as we got to a covered place right by the door he told me to keep the umbrella and use it for the rest of the night. I wish I had his name. He was absolutely amazing and he went above and beyond I will say, the staff here are all amazing. Even the comment about the waiter, Carson being a little slow, he was great, he was just taking care of sooooo many different people This was still such a fun time! I loved having some small food bites and drinks with my girl. The tree inside and outside was still lit up To be honest I love the lobby bar. It was raining, but it still had nice views. I love the different seating. They have a large community table, separate tables, they have nice leather chairs but I really wanted the couch area to not be taken up. If I'm comfortable, Have a bff with me And I'm drinking? I could have stayed all night. I would of lived there Bathroom is also very close to the lobby bar Parking is good for me. The handicap parking is up close and I don't have to pay a fee because the handicap sticker. (If you don't have a handicap sticker unfortunately the parking can be far or expensive) If you go to places like the Spa or restaurants closer to the water. They have people on golf carts take you all around the grounds to where you are going So I highly suggest not just coming to the lobby bar and to check out more of the resort. I could spend hours here I can't wait for the gingerbread lounge for Christmas 2026.

Pao de queijo: 10/10 addictive baked 3 cheese Brazilian popovers served with lime aioli sauce (which it didn't need, because it got us hooked the way Cheeze its gets us - once you start, you can't stop!) 2. Fried Calamari: 7.5/10, also served with lime aioli sauce and house made marinara sauce. Good but not spectacular and not something I would repeatedly pay $18 for. The only dish we would not get again. 3. Modena Salad: 9/10, what a delicious salad with butter lettuce, candied walnuts, crumbled goat cheese, shallots, Italian parsley, and balsamic vinaigrette. My only complaint is that the lettuce was not bite sized, but for $17 this was a scrumptious salad 4. seafood pan roast: 12.5/10, TO DIE FOR! snow crab, shrimp, and it's sweeter larger cousin, prawns, in jasmine rice with a delicious house garlic focaccia. $30 but totally worth every penny and every inch of stomach real estate. 5. Crème brûlée: 8/10, it was good but compared to the seafood pan roast, it was nothing spectacular (however, the seafood pan roast is a really high bar) TLDR: delicious food in a date worthy and business meal worthy restaurant. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
