I was first aware of Jeff's services a year ago but as it turned out, my underlying problem then could be repaired under warranty with Dell so I didn't have a chance to use him. A year later I find an AVG Security alert preventing me from accessing my e-mail. After spending several hours rebooting, calling Dell Premium Service and contacting my e-mail provider, I was at wit's end. I texted Jeff having saved his phone number for just such an occasion. Jeff called me about an hour after my text. He had me let him remote into my computer screen to see the problem. Woke up Saturday and my mac home computer had a black screen and steady beeps. Figured its a little old probably time for a new one. I began looking and found they are now $1300 for what I have. Jeff was a great help! We had an issue with our office computer and he responded to my message within the hour! It ended up being that the computer wasn't fully plugged in which was embarrassing. In the modern house, I wireless network is a necessity to powering most entertainment devices. Jeff helped us completely re-tool our wireless network and repeaters to maximize the wireless signal throughout the house. Now our AppleTV runs much faster, our cell phones are able to quickly connect to the wireless network, and the speed of our wireless network has been maximized. I would recommend Jeff for any of your wireless networking needs in your home. I think his prices were very reasonable. He charged me $80 and he was here for about three hours diagnosing the entire network and making sure that everything was completely operational and the signal was maximized with full strength. I initially took my laptop to Geek Squad (DON'T!), and they were no help (REALLY, DON'T). Then I noticed that Jeff had great reviews on Yelp, so I messaged him, and we talked about the laptop a bit. He picked it up from my place and gave me a free diagnosis the same night. I mean, talk about speedy, right? I figured my laptop was a goner, but it turned out it wasn't! I still asked Jeff to copy all my files, papers, music, etc. into a flash drive so I can transfer all of that into my new laptop. Overall - giving me a free diagnosis, reviving my laptop from the dead, copying all of my data into a flash drive - he charged me $170, which is a steal compared to the ~$400 you'd spend at Geek Squad and other big-name competitors. DO NOT USE THIS GUY! Screwed a teenage boys pc so bad that we can't even use it. He was paying with his own allowance for an upgrade and destroyed his PC! He took my son's computer to fix as my son was having trouble upgrading to Windows 10. It was agreed that he would load Windows 10 to his gaming computer. He told us during our vacation that he was unable to load Windows 10. We agreed that he would just reinstall Windows 5 and give him the computer back. He had the computer for 5 days which is plenty of time to do the job, which ended up being nothing. He committed to have it back when we got back from vacation. I reached out to him on Saturday after we landed and arranged to pick up the computer and he told me he hadn't even started it yet. He could only get it to us late at night and we agreed to pick it up at 9:30 pm. While we were on the way to pick it up, he calls me and says he needs another hour as he loaded Windows 7 on the wrong drive? What the heck? He KNEW we were on our way. Horrible timing! We get to Long Beach (Btw his address is NOT Garden Grove incorrect and misleading) and he said it might run slow but he would fix it on Monday. My son logged it on the next morning (Sunday) hoping to be able to use it and it lagged so bad, he couldn't even watch a Youtube video. My teenage son waited all week to continue his gaming while on Spring Break only to have a computer that didn't work. We were forced to endure 154 updates and then only for it to fail. It took us 4 hours! My son was heartbroken. He was paying for this upgrade out of his allowance! During this time, I expressed my dismay and I was very disappointed and my son was heartbroken. Jeff told me to "Calm Down", first example of horrible customer service. I told him my expectations were not met. He gave my son his computer back and it not only would not work, it crashed multiple times! He really must have screwed up the Windows 7 install. This is a simple install and he screwed it up because he couldn't meet the deadline he committed to! Instead of stepping up as he knew he should of and offer an immediate resolve of this horrific situation and make an effort to right his wrongs, he told me that he would not return my son's computer to it's prior WORKING condition. He told me that since he didn't meet my (a CUSTOMERS) expectations that I should have someone else fix it. Can you imagine hearing that? He wouldn't even restore my sons computer to the condition it was when he picked it up. My son's PC now does not work or even boot up because of Jeff's horrible customer service. I am now forced to spend $200 to get Windows 7 installed correct and all the mistakes HE made reversed. He should be ashamed of himself. He took advantage of a teen who trusted him with his computer. DO NOT TRUST HIM. He can't keep a commitment, is highly irresponsible, is incompetent and has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS EVER! Update. No he did not say he would do it free. That is a bold faced lie. Kyle would pay you. You only offered to it for free because you screwed his pc up and the kid was heartbroken. What was supposed to be a reasonable fix has now cost us $200. Please don't act like you are sorry. If you were a true business man you would have remedied right away and agreed to return it to its previous state. As far as high demands go, I told you in multiple texts that you needed to fix it, that is not a high demand, that is what is expected. It's called Customer Service! Apologies are not going to pay for the $200 repair needed for your horrible screwup. Caring heart and nice guy mean nothing in this instance as you have chosen to screw with my teenage son.
