If you are looking for a flooring contractor, look no further. We have done quite a lot of remodeling with our house working with various contractors and by far, Jeff Jones has been the most pleasant. Jeff is the owner and he oversees his crew personally. He came to our house on a number of occasions to check on progress and do quality checks. We felt very comfortable with the crew that was at our house. They were nice, they worked efficiently, and they cleaned up after themselves. I always felt like Jeff had my back. He is someone that I would trust to fix a problem if a problem came up. Problems do come up in construction. We had a major hiccup with another contractor doing work on another part of our house. We credit Jeff for helping us work with that other contractor to at least minimize the issue and get the job moving along again. The quality of the work is great. I have interior designer friends and they have complimented the flooring work. We had porcelain wood looking tiles installed downstairs and engineered hardwood floors upstairs. Downstairs, you'll see that the grout lines are even (and treated so they won't get grimy right away) and all the tiles are placed thoughtfully so that the repeated tiles are not next to each other. It is really pleasing to the eye. Upstairs, the wood planks are just as well put together. They did magic on our custom closet. Just about everyone else told us we had to dismantle our closet to get the flooring done but Jeff and the crew did it without dismantling and the end result looked flawless. This company doesn't do shortcuts. The other thing to note is that they will remove the floor boards and then lay the planks down and then reinstall new floor boards. I've seen other companies do shortcuts where they leave the old floorboards and tile up to the old floorboards. That looks sloppy but Jeff has his crew do it right. We would most definitely recommend Jeff Jones and his crew. read more

Jeff Jones went above and beyond for us. Our designer chose a "dark" LVP flooring that turned out to be patchwork of mostly blonde boards. I was in tears and, after having already installed a loft and four stairs, Jeff offered to remove it at no charge and just billed us for reinstallation. He also helped us find new, much higher-quality, LVP and it's stunning! We now love our stair system and upstairs flooring! Also, when we had our new dual stairway (both straight and rounded) installed, the stair company advised us that many flooring companies don't understand how to do a good job on complex stairway treads. After Jeff installed the LVP on our stairs, the stair contractor told us he and his team did an excellent job. Our reno project included removal of both a load-bearing wall and pony wall, both of which sat on wall-to-wall procelain tile. The tile is no longer available and we had just a few spare tiles to fill in the holes from the removal. Jeff's team replaced the tiles perfectly and you would never know walls had existed in the middle of our new great-room. Not only does Jeff do flooring, but bathrooms and kitchens as well. He gave us some great ideas for future projects, including expanding our kitchen, and the remodeling of our bath. When we are ready for future projects, we will certainly contact Jeff. If I could give this guy zero stars instead of one star, that is what I would do. Do not use this man. He will misrepresent himself as highly available and perfectionistic and high detail. Instead, you will get one mistake after another, and he will leave relatively unskilled floor people at your home and not supervise the work. Our staircase got completely gouged with a six and strip of wood ripped out. Inferior flooring boards were put down without my permission and glued into place. In one section, a plank was glued down that has a 2 inch strip at the edge of it that did not take the dye. It is a glaring defect. That is now permanently glued into place! He will tell you that he has four different contractors licenses but he is not competent. He rushes you and doesn't pay attention to the work instead he just accepts multiple jobs one after another and then after he gets your money, then he tells you how busy he is and hardly shows up to supervise anything. Jeff Jones is the worst contractor that I have experienced. I completely regret the referral from my interior designer, if I had to do it over again, I would use someone else. Since we've had so many problems with his company, he walked off the job this morning, abandoning the work, and we will now have to use another company to finish the work. In addition, he underestimated the amount of wood needed for the project by eight cases. The product is now back ordered and it will be two months before we can finish the project so now we have this huge hole in our floor ripped out right by the bathroom downstairs. This man is the worst! read more

Over the years I have worked with many contractors and flooring specialists. Jeff jones is both. He installed 3200 sq feet Of premiere wood flooring with multiple steps in a week's time. He did it so I did not need to put my things in storage. His crew is fast, efficient, and careful. Jeff was available for consultation in all phases and was able to flow with different design changes. No attitude. I feel lucky to have found him. I am not sure about some of Jeff's neg reviews here. Not sure I buy them. Maybe they had a bad day themselves. in some cases I think some Yelp reviewers are NEVER happy and just look for a reason to vent on someone. I have seen it many times, which is why i do my homework beyond the reviews alone. I have recommended Jeff to many folks away from Yelp and will continue to do so because he has done nothing but outstanding work for our home. Below you will see why. I don't give many Yelp reviews. But when someone is good, they truly deserve my praise. I was referred to Jeff by a mutual friend last summer. My wife and I had purchased a new Dining room table and originally planned to do Wood Look Tile ONLY in our Dining room and Living room to match up our table. Well.... that got the ball rolling. I can say that my wife and I like Jeff and his guys' work so much that they also did: Living room, Dining room, Entry way (custom design), Downstairs bedroom, powder room, stair case w/ NY Steps & Marble Diamond Insets in the kicks (custom design), All upstairs hallway, my office, and retiled my upstairs deck with travertine.... Oh and built 2 totally custom showers. That was last summer..... But since my wife and I were going to do our kitchen as well starting this past November, Jeff did our Family Room, Kitchen, 2 fireplaces and one really cool Backsplash like no other. Hired Jeff on a recommendation from a tile vendor. I have to admit I was mortified by the reviews I saw after proceeding with the job. I don't quite understand the reviews because my experience was quite different. Jeff and crew recently installed LV plank flooring throughout our entire home and also tiled our entry hallway and master bath. Both tiled areas have decorative patterns that were handled with ease and turned out beautifully. My wife wanted a particular herringbone pattern in the entry and Jeff made her wish come true. Just one trip too many made me post this review. We had floor tile installed by Jeff Jones Flooring back in 2012. Love the tile we bought but I hate our floors! Why? The tiles are so uneven and do not line up correctly edge to edge, so much so that I trip on them regularly, and nothing can slide over the floor without getting caught on the edges of the tiles. And we have the narrow grout lines. When they were being installed (by a man who didn't speak English so it was impossible to communicate with him) I asked the supervisor how much experience the installer had. He said 7 years. No way this can be true considering the lousy install job. By the time we noticed the tiles being so uneven, a couple of weeks had passed and I didn't want to have it torn out and replaced. It took them 3 weeks to install it in the first place! Pretty bad considering it's only about 500 square feet. And I didn't want to go through the hassle again. Bottom line is, get someone else to install your tile. You'll be glad you did. If I could give this company negative stars, I would. read more

We recently contracted with Jeff Jones Floor Systems. I am posting this as a Buyer be Ware. We had all new flooring installed by him. Tile downstairs and wood upstairs. His crew did absolutely no prepping. They did not cover walls, counter tops, etc., which resulted in a thick film of construction dust being deposited throughout our entire interior. To make matters worse, the guys did not clean up properly and we are stuck trying to get all the glue that was smeared from the wood floor installation. He also used the wrong stain on the bottom stair step, which was completely different from the rest of the wood flooring, so we have had to have another contractor sand and re-stain the wood. In addition, he tried to up-charge us by adding additional charges to his invoice/quote at the end of the job. Jeff also has a terrible habit of discussing all his depressing personal problems with his clients. Bring out the violins; all the while he claims not to have any employees so he does not have to pay for Worker's Compensation benefits. Our painter on the other hand was wonderful and did exceptional work. I would recommend him to anyone. Onessimo "Nacho" Mejia at 714-454-4502. Jeff's crew did a great job installing porcelain wood-look tile throughout the lower level of our house and hard wood floors upstairs. The detail in the way they tiled the stairs was impressive. We liked their work so much we had them install a full stone wall in our family room and the back splash in the kitchen. If I could give Jeff and his crew 10 stars, I would. After a horrible remodeling experience with Lowes, we took the advise of Tile Expo folks (also wonderful) and had Jeff tile our entry. We were so pleased with his work that sequentially, we had him remodel every room in our house. Because my husband and I work - and travel - a lot, Jeff and I worked together primarily by text, phone, and sending pictures to each other. Since the entire project took about two years (during which, we never moved out of our house), a tremendous amount of trust developed. He also gave us excellent referrals to our painter (Juan Munoz) and our landscaper (Delgado). After 26 years living at the same address, we feel Jeff's given us our dream house - without moving an inch. I can't imagine anyone else being able to do as great a job, let alone as cost effectively. read more

We just remodeled our bathroom, and had a major tile emergency! Our bathroom tiles were cracked, after the shower door guy tried to put our shower door in. We had major problems with the previous contractor, so we were not going to call them back to fix it. Instead, we called Jeff Jones and wow! Now we know what excellent customer service is supposed to be like. We called Jeff on a Saturday in a panic, he was there within 3 HOURS! He assessed the situation, let us know what needed to be done, and by Monday night, my tile was fixed, and the cost was minimal! I have never, ever in my experience dealt with someone who cares so much for his customers, who is so efficient, and does quality top notch work! I would never go any where else for any tile work, and I recommend Jeff Jones highly. If I could give 10 starts, I would. I can't understand why anyone would give a negative review for such a stellar company, and such quality work. We will never go anywhere else for tile work, and you shouldn't either! read more
