Glenn Slifker is unprofessional, rude, and a dishonest agent…read more What should have been a simple process of getting a quote turned into a complete nightmare involving dishonesty, extreme rudeness, and a total lack of professionalism. Here is a summary of the negative experience: 1. Policy Created Against Wishes: After receiving a quote, both Glenn and his colleague Mark were explicitly notified that the policy was not wanted. Despite this clear refusal, they initiated the policy anyway, leading to unnecessary billing issues and subsequent excuses regarding the difficulty of correction. This conduct is both dishonest and unethical. Miraculously after I contacted him by phone after he sent me an email for him to "look into the issue" he was able to cancel the policy so I'm not sure what their was to look into other than to simply cancel it as I stated I wasn't proceeding last week Wednesday as indicated in the provided photo. 2. Inappropriate Use of Personal Issues as an Excuse: When attempting to resolve the unauthorized policy issue, Glenn was unreachable. When a response was finally received, "personal life issues" were cited as an excuse for the inability to communicate or manage business responsibilities. Business matters should be handled professionally. If an agent is unable to perform their duties, a colleague should be assigned or someone else put in charge; customers should not be left without resolution. Business is business! 3. Repeatedly Hung Up and Avoids Accountability: Glenn was incredibly rude throughout the interactions after he was made aware of the decision not to proceed with the policy. He ended calls prematurely on more than one occasion when the issues were being addressed. Additionally, Glenn deliberately avoids stating his name when answering agency calls, apparently to evade accountability or contact from clients with issues. In Conclusion: Glenn Slifker demonstrates a lack of respect for customers and professional boundaries. This behavior reflects poorly on the company he represents. It is strongly recommended to utilize a different, professional agent who values clients and conducts business ethically.

I switched to this agency after being with All State for all my life i.e. over 20yrs. They quoted…read moreme about the same rate as All State with a promise that as I become older customer, my premium would go down. I thought it does not hurt trying them if the rates are about the same. I received the confirmed quote, policy etc via email, but after a month they increased the premium by 50% saying that this is from the Corporate office and there is nothing they could do. They suggested that they could cancel the policy if this new rate was not acceptable to me and they even offered to coordinate with All State to make sure the policy was easily transitioned to All State. So, I cancelled the policy with this agency (and State Farm) and switched back to All State. However, when I received the refund from this agency, they deduced about 15% amount saying this is a cancellation charge, which they did not mention before cancelling the policy. I was fooled to work with them by seeing great reviews here. Not sure if all these reviews are real. But to me, this agency is just pathetic. I wish I could give them a 0 star here. I would never go to them or State Farm and would advise everyone to be cautious when working with this agency.

    Direct Auto Insurance - untitled

I started my policy with Direct Auto Insurance on November 27, 2025. My sister's debit card was…read moreinitially used to start the policy because she helped me set everything up. Shortly after the policy began, I contacted the company and specifically requested that her card be removed from the account and that autopay be turned off. Since November, I have been repeatedly assured -- in November, December, January, and again in February -- that the card was no longer on file and that it was not set up for autopay. Despite these repeated assurances, my sister's card has continued to be charged every single month. These charges have caused serious financial hardship for my sister. She has experienced overdraft fees, her account has gone into the negative multiple times, and it has even been at risk of being frozen. Beyond the financial damage, this situation has created significant tension between us because she believed I had not actually removed her card -- even though I made multiple calls requesting exactly that. Every month, we have had to contact the company and the bank to request reversals and fix the issue. On March 2, I called again and asked whether they could accommodate me in any way given that this has been an ongoing billing error on their end. Instead of acknowledging the repeated mistake, the representative was dismissive. She told me that I "don't need to worry about it," that it was "in the past," and that no accommodation would be made -- even though the charges are still continuing. Being told not to worry about unauthorized recurring charges -- after months of the same issue -- is extremely concerning and unprofessional. I have informed the company that I will be paying my remaining balance, canceling my policy, and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This experience has been stressful, financially damaging, and very disappointing. I strongly encourage the company to improve its billing practices, properly remove payment information when requested, and take accountability when errors repeatedly occur Sincerely a upset customer Kanisha R

This company seemed great and the affordability was even better. I'm giving low stars because the…read moreauto pay system was not working at all. My husband set up auto pay multiple separate times over and over. The first payment went through, and he set up autopay. He autopays everything or else he forgets. Next month comes and he assumes we have car insurance. Luckily no accidents because the autopay failed us and was nonfunctional. He received a text saying he was past due and needed to make a payment. He thought maybe he did the auto pay incorrect and so he set up autopay again and he made the 2nd monthly payment late. Then the 3rd month rolls by and the same exact thing happens again!!!!!! He gets the text. He told me about this crappy software for the autopay. I told him to call but he is very hands on and always available for his job and other ventures he has. He should not have to even call and tell a company that the autopay is inoperable and it's making him late every month. He probably received multiple fees every single time too but he didn't tell me. Sounds like a sketchy setup if late fees are added. Anyways.. soon enough I got into a minor traffic accident with a construction company. I did no damage to the other truck, Im the one who got a small tear in the plastic on my suv. They were behind me and I honestly didn't see or know how it happened, but I'm assuming they were close to me when I was getting over in their lane and I didn't see them maybe? I honestly didn't think I was at fault and the worker never even said what he experienced. He stayed quiet and would only say he needed to call his manager. I texted hubby for car insurance info because I just got a new phone and didn't have the info. He sends me a screenshot of it. The construction manager said they had to call the cops to make a report of the traffic accident, fine by me. I give the cop my phone to show proof of insurance. Every thing is good. The next day or 2nd day I call our insurance and was given an email to send the accident photos too. I took many pics. I sent the photos to the email requested. Then the next day or so I did not get any email reply at all. I call direct auto self and inquire about the whole incident as a whole. The person just wanted to transfer me to someone else. This man I was transferred to was nice but what he told me was weird. He said we did not have car insurance at the time of my accident And my husband paid it after I got into the accident. Which I confirmed with my husband. But I did tell the guy that it was an ongoing issue of the auto pay system malfunctioning and it doesn't work at all. It's not the first time my husband has had to pay the insurance After he was reminded once!!!!! IF the direct auto pay system worked we would've been covered. It's insane timing and it makes us look bad 100% but that it far from the actual truth. That was my first Ever accident in my life. I had my baby with me. I didn't plan anything. I'm a mom of 4. The man I was transferred to told me because of the false claims we made Direct Auto are not covering the accident, the accident was my fault, and they are dropping us indefinitely. It was a huge error on their part. This should have never been an issue. I wonder if others have autopay error with direct auto??????? It's not only us. It's a shame on them. This happened in November 2025. The construction company told me no harm done and that they were not making any claims with their insurance and they're not faulting me at all for the accident. I wish I would've never even called direct auto to make the claim. The guy told me now I have an accident on my file because of it. And to top that off direct auto tried to get n extra payment out of us even though he paid NOVEMBER. Even though we weren't covered past October!!!!!! They never tried getting it anymore after their first request call because they know they're wrong. So I DO NOT RECOMMEND DIRECT AUTO INSURANCE AT ALL.
