I've visited the Revenue office, property tax office and driver's license office and not a smile, courtesy or personable customer service throughout any of these spaces. Your questions may or may not be answered by the first employee but eventually you'll receive an answer. So completing the service is a 4, but the customer service is a 1. I have to return unless I move.

I had lost my wallet at home and was trying to get everything taken care of. She explained the newer document rules to prove identity, such as needing things like a birth certificate, and she was very helpful and polite. A friend who was with me asked if there was anything else that might work, such as an old driver's license, and Toni kindly checked and let us know that would help. I came back with it and was able to get my replacement license. Later, she even stopped by and kindly asked if I got my license. I told her yes, and that she was a really nice lady. I know it's their personal choice but it's disheartening all the same. Only one does and he's here only on Friday's and not all day and they refused to give us his information so we had to find someone. Thank God that the pastor that was due to marry me in July was available short notice. The testars is for the discrimination we felt being here today. Otherwise, the plate will no longer be held for you. Something helpful I learned from the dealership where I purchased my car is that if you have a vehicle that was declared a total loss, you can bring the declaration letter along with the necessary documentation and receive a credit toward the registration and tag for your new vehicle. In my case, I received about a $40 credit, which was a nice surprise. The office was fairly busy when I arrived, but the line was moving steadily and efficiently. I was assisted by a pleasant young lady named Jazmine, who was incredibly patient as I gathered and provided all of the documents needed. Her calm attitude and kind service helped lower my stress level quite a bit, and I was truly grateful for her help.

It's been five years since my last review so I feel like it's time for an update. First, they do…read moretake credit/debit cards for most things now so that's much more convenient. They also have an employee that talks to you when you enter to make sure you go to the correct line. I like that because it helps prevent people from waiting in the wrong line and wasting their time. The employees I've encountered over the last few years have all been pleasant and helpful. My only issue is I still feel they need to have more windows opened, but the lines seem to move a bit faster than in years past.
