Dead bug in shower

If you're here looking for a sign of wether to stay here or not, this is it. DO NOT!!!! Keep scrolling and book at the next place! After the fees and taxes I paid $77. I was actually charged $5 extra for my little girl even after showing the listing said "kids stay free". Could have been petty staff member or policy change that needs updated? Either way, whatever, but when.we.walked.in.yall. This was literally the nastiest hotel room I've ever been in. Dirty floor, stained bedding and chairs, and so stinky!!! Would never stay again, would never recommend anything except tearing it down and starting over. Hopefully you've gotten the point, it was bad, don't stay.

Very cheap hotel, so I guess you get what you pay for. There were blood stains on the mattresses, stains on the bed covers, smelled disgusting, etc. We walked into our room, and walked right back out to get our refund. I don't recommend this hotel!

Rooms are fairly nice but I think I just found a bedbug in my room. I haven't talked to the staff yet. I am still googling bed bug laws.

Mini muffins, 2 cheap sugar cereals, funky waffles, and smallest coffee cups ever. Big flashing sign says hot breakfast. ... only thing hot is funky waffle. Worst soap and 1 pkg of shampoo, not good. But for 44.00 you do get to sleep.

Very clean hotel! It is cheaper if you book directly thru the hotel instead of travel sites. Best shower I have ever had!

I did laundry one day and had my little chihuahua with me which she stayed right next to me and she told manager there was a little white dog running loose that needed to be put up. I left there after going in hospital. my brother fixed a small place on the wall my other puppy scratched and painted it. that was the only damage was done. owner was replacing carpet in all the rooms in the hotel but called while I was recovering in rehab from deaths door telling me I owed him 11,000 dollars for new carpet. he called repeatedly. I will never stay in a holiday inn again because when I lodged a complaint against him they did nothing. one other thing, construction workers stayed there on weekends. they were allowed to cook out and drink out in the parking lot right outside guests windows being loud and obnoxious till all hours. and the heating ac unit did not work properly.

We went back downstairs and were told rudely that they had overbooked and that was all they had. We were there at 3pm check in. The manager also told us that it happens all the time. Oh and one more thing. When we told them we wouldn't be staying there the reply was "you didn't lay on the bed did you?" Never again. We weren't offered a discount on the room. When we asked if there might be other rooms available in the waters we were told (rudely again) you might be able to find something. But it's a holiday so all the hotels will be like this. I stepped outside and had a room booked at the Days Inn in Kodak in 5 minutes. King bed.

Every 30 seconds a bell rings. If there was a television, maybe you could drown it out. No way you can sleep here. There's a coffee maker in the room but it doesn't work. They say they have been brewing coffee at the " free" breakfast for the last 30 minutes, but still no coffee. I've been awake all night. Also, there's no hot water in the shower. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in the car.

I was ensured that we would have conjoining, nonsmoking rooms. When we got to the hotel around 12:30 am, the front desk worker said that they didn't promise us conjoining rooms. They also charged us for our cat, even though we paid for her fee online. The first thing my wife and I found in our room was a dirty, used face mask sitting right on the desk. After check in, we discovered that the water was not working, and they still allowed us to check in knowing this the case. After this was resolved around 2:30 in the morning, I found numerous hairs in the bathtub, and the towels had countless stains in a range of colors, with the floor towel being the worst of all. Our room was CLEARLY a smoking room, and every aspect of the room was dirty. This hotel was a colossal health hazard in every way. I am someone who rarely reviews any place of business, but if only one traveler reads this and stays away, it would be worth posting. I only wish I took photos to document this terrible experience for you. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We stayed in "Lake my Day" (LOVE the fun names…read morethey give the rooms) Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed and bedding were absolutely luxurious! Our own private deck with a full size, well functioning hot tub was why we rented this place to begin with. And it did not disappoint. Our hot tub cover was done, water logged and difficult for one person to take off, but thats fixable.... And did not deter our enjoyable time at all. We star gazed from the hot tub. The morning was just as good. I got up at Sunrise and sat in that tub water the wild life. The small villas have privacy screen walls for the decks. The two end units are more open without privacy screens on the corners. There is a one time cleaning fee so if you stay more than 1 night, the cost is VERY affordable. I very much wish we had just rented this place the WHOLE time we were in TN. I am sad to leave. This was a perfect jumping off ground to the Great Smokey Mountains and Knoxville. The owner was delightful, easy to work with and i am thrilled they bought this place 3 years ago. Anything i can do to support this hard working young family, i will do. Stay here. Its GREAT!

Horrible place, don't waste your money!!!!!!

Been a frequent stayer for about four years now and I've NEVER once seen anything unclean or had any encounters with bugs, rude employees, literally have never had an issue here! Amazing little place, me and my boyfriend know the owners, they've always thanked us for our loyalty and provided excellent customer service! So serious, everyone here needs a raise, this is the cleanest, quietest, best place to stay at around here, literally would not go anywhere else! With Super 8 by Wyndham in Dandridge, I always know our stay will be safe for one and pleasant. Never any sketchy behavior in the area, as Dandridge is a small quiet town. All the doors are double locked, we have probably stayed in about every room and nothings ever been broken or molded like a lot of places have. CHOOSE SUPER 8!

She said that she did it because her dog has a dominant demeanor, but we were in the wrong and she'd have had every right to call us on it. But, this is the first time I've spread the bedspreads on the floor simply because I won't let my bare feet touch the carpet. (There are other reasons to throw them on the floor, but that can apply to any motel). And I walk barefoot EVERYWHERE. But, 5 steps on these greasy carpets skeeved even me out. Ugh

If you are self-managing your short term rental cabin in the Smokies your cleaning / handyman crew…read moreis the most important hire you will make. I'm a new cabin owner in the Smokies. I can't say enough good things about Mandy and Billy Gerken and their cleaning / handyman company. Without a dedicated, professional, high quality team like these guys I don't think it would be possible to remotely manage my cabin as successfully as I have. In less than 90 days of operation I have achieved Airbnb's "Superhost" status, and earned 16 nearly all 5-star reviews from guests. Many of my guests have remarked how clean and organized my cabin is. "Extremely clean" "Very clean, cabin feel" "We appreciate how clean the cabin was" "The cabin was extremely clean and organized" And for the Yelp Mafia who hid my last review for being fake, I invite you to go to my Airbnb listing to see these glowing reviews airbnb . com /h/libertyhaven What my guests' don't know is how much work Mandy and Billy and their team did to get my new cabin rent ready. Not only did they drive all over Sevier County to different Home Depot's and Lowe's and Walmarts picking up and shopping for stuff the cabin needed, much of which they recommended (e.g. bigger cooking pots, some throw rugs, bathroom mats, etc) but they assembled and installed tons of stuff like the blinds and drapes, the rocking chairs, the CO2 detectors, the dedicated laptop workstation, carpenter bees traps, string lighting, illuminated address plaque, etc. Every time I ship something new to their house, they bring it to the cabin, set it up, and send me a (very reasonable) invoice. Are these guys more expensive than some other cleaners in the area? Yes. In fact they were 5 times more expensive than the lowest bid I got from a bid site (like Angie's List or something like that). But I simply pass their cleaning fee on to my guests AFTER I mark it up by $49. So not only are they a SOURCE of revenue for me, they actually SAVE me A LOT of money. If I didn't have this incredible team (and they are the most important members of my short term rental cabin team) on the ground, I would have to hire an expensive old skool property management company. Looking at the low star reviews of competing neighboring cabins, nearly all of them are managed by property management companies. Low ratings on Airbnb is slow death. People won't book a low rated, dirty cabin. And eventually Airbnb will delist you. If you're planning on managing your Airbnb VRBO cabin remotely (and why would you not?) HIRE THESE GUYS. They will save you money. They will EARN you money. And you'll sleep well knowing they are on top of everything because they are very experienced, consumate professionals, as good as it gets.
