I went twice to Princeton Radiology to have a growth on my neck looked at with ultrasound. They were ordered by two ENTs in the Princeton area over the course of 2 years. Both Ultrasounds were read incorrectly - instead of a parotid tumor they were both read as a submandibular cyst. This led to treatment being delayed and was shocking to the specialist i eventually went to in Philadelphia. I will no longer have Ultrasounds done with Princeton Radiology. read more

Was here at the Princeton location today for x-rays and an ultrasound. Been here as well as their Monroe location on several occasions over the years. Today was just like any other visit. Promptly greeted at front desk upon entry. Smooth check-in. I arrived a little early and I was taken promptly at my appointment time. All staff and techs that I interacted with were friendly, caring and efficient. I especially like the ability to request an appointment, pre-checkin and review my x-rays and ultrasounds via their online patient portal. Overall a very well run operation. read more

I am writing to document a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with Princeton Radiology following a motor vehicle accident on 10/28/25. As a result of the accident, I sustained injuries to my neck, lower back, left knee, right side (hip, thigh, leg, knee and ankle), and left hand, and require an MRI. Complicating matters, I have an Inspire sleep apnea device, which limits where MRIs can be safely performed. Over the course of a week, I had five in-depth phone calls/conversations with Princeton Radiology staff, during which I was repeatedly transferred between individuals, asked to provide the same personal and medical information multiple times, and reassured that my case was being handled. I even had an appointment set up at the Wayne branch for this Friday, January 30, 2026, with the notion that they could do the MRI (which meant they have an MRI machine with a CP mode at 1.5). Despite the extended coordination, I ultimately received a voicemail stating that the Wayne office could not perform the MRI I needed. When I finally spoke with the staff member (A.) who was supposedly overseeing my case, the interaction was dismissive and unprofessional. Responsibility was deflected to others, and I was informed that the appropriate imaging was allegedly only available at Princeton facilities in South Jersey. This determination was made without confirming availability at those locations, and without proactive outreach to ensure continuity of care. As an injured patient in pain and under pressure from my insurance carrier to complete imaging within the network, this experience was unacceptable. The lack of clear communication, ownership, and follow-through is resulting in significant delays in care and unnecessary stress. Patients with medical devices and complex needs require coordination and accountability, neither of which was demonstrated here. read more

Wait times to schedule or talk to anyone! To schedule or change a procedure, can wait over 40 minutes to speak to someone listening to offensive music! To schedule or change it is suggested I drive to the facility to do it in person!!!!! read more

Excellent Ultrasound Tech! Compassionate & thoughtful. Front desk person was helpful. Little wait time for my test. But sadly ~ Waiting room was very busy (December is Flu & cold season). I wish the waiting room could have been larger due to coughing patients. But after I completed sign-in forms, I was moved closer to the Ultrasound room, away from the coughing patients. read more

I recently had some basic x-rays here and am pleased to report that the entire encounter was as easy as it gets in the 2023 healthcare lottery. However, if the physicians oath is really "First, do no harm," why were my bones spontaneously breaking listening to the worst waiting room music this side of Guantanamo Bay. Apparently, SiriusXM has some torture chamber soundtrack called The Blend which turns easy listening into extremely hard time. Look, I have nothing against the come hither confections of Dolly Parton, Christopher Cross, Bread, Michael McDonald and Enya in isolation but in combination, an hour of forced listening had me confessing to anything. And can we finally agree that Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" may be the worst song ever recorded. Yes sir, I was in Dallas on the grassy knoll in 1963. It's musical malpractice, please make it stop. Five stars for the important stuff. read more

I have been trying to g to schedule my MRI and no answer, I left a message and the recording claims they will call you back within 24 hours. It's been three days and I have not heard anything, absolutely unprofessional! I have been going there for years and never had a problem. The last two appointments I haven't been able to make them. Needed a chest xray for a prolonged cough, so didn't have an appointment....just walked in. After providing my script and necessary info, I only waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room before I was called back. Staff was professional yet friendly and no complaints about the facility...clean and organized. Not sure if they are more or less expensive than the imaging place I used to go to, but will find out shortly. At least they didn't make me pay an 'estimated' fee. Some imaging places started doing that and it's annoying as there is no definitive way to determine what a patients cost will be until AFTER the imaging is done. Will gladly use them again if and when I need additional imaging. read more

My experience at Princeton Radiology was excellent. The facility is clean, organized and runs smoothly. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had an MRI and an XRay for my severe back issue recently at PR in Princeton and I cannot fault the service I received. When I arrived for my appointment, one of the ladies at the front desk welcomed me and came and sat with me and filled out the computerised details of my health for me on her lap top. I then waited a very short time before I was taken to a changung cubicle and I put on a robe and then was given my XRay. The young lady who performed my XRay was efficient and charming and I then again waited a very short time beore another kind lady carried out my MRI. I was given a head set and I listened to '80s music, as requested, and the entire process of XRay and MRI only lasted 90 minutes from the time I checked in. After being in the waiting room again for a very short time, I was given the two discs of my XRay and and MRI which I will give to my specialist when I see him in a few days. I cannot fault the politeness and efficiency of all the staff I saw. Thank you Princeton Radiology. read more

Check in and test was completed very fast for my family member, however I was told to wait for CD (of imaging results)which should take approximately 10 minutes. After checking with desk several times and after waiting 50 minutes I was finally informed that the CD had to be reprinted. During the extended waiting period I observed multiple of incidents of seniors being treated poorly, no compassion and rushed. These seniors were clearly in need of kind attention but I didn't witness any compassionate care. read more

I have been a patient here for several years but since Covid, the intake process has changed for the worse. I am handed an iPad to re-enter data they have had for years, with occasional drop down options that often don't fit the question or allow for correct entry. I have always found the technicians to be highly competent and kind. Unfortunately, the administrative process is driving me to go elsewhere. read more

Being a cancer patient is extremely hard. Getting appointments for testing is getting harder with each scan. On 3/25/22 I was to have a scan. Got there promptly, waited, then it went downhill quickly. They came and told me the medication needed for the scan was not delivered and I would need to reschedule. How could that be? Who didn't place the order? THIS WAS UNACEPTABLE!! I spoke with the office manager at that location and rescheduled for the next day work day. I needed to take off another day from work. Horrible place! I have insurance and my insurance covers annual mammogram at 100%. Right at the initial check in, the lady at the front desk asks me for a payment for almost $300. (Just because I was a day early from last year's mammogram. I wasted almost an hour with my insurance to make sure it was covered, How is it that they can bill you upfront without running a claim? And, they could not call insurance for me to verify my coverage. Poor patient service! read more

Very friendly staff. Reception and tech were both great. Waiting room was modern and pleasant. With no appointment, I was able to get my x-rays done in no time. It literally took 5 minutes to check in, get x-rays and leave. I'm really surprised by all the negative reviews, I had a very pleasant experience overall. read more

Trying to schedule an appointment is so difficult since the merger with Freehold Radiology and Jersey Shore. You have to call and leave a message and if you're lucky, you'll get a call back that day. Most often, it's hours if not a day later. If at all. Once you get an appointment, the techs are wonderful, the facility (inside Centrastate) is clean and efficient. The results come in very, very fast (usually same day) and for a mammography, that should be the gold standard. In addition, I had a billing problem with a bone density scan that is still in the process of resolving. A screening test was coded incorrectly as diagnostic and I received a bill, as I have a high deductible insurance plan. As a screening test, it would have been covered at 100%. So know your benefits and check your EOB's carefully, people. And if there's a problem call them (although it's difficult to get through to billing too). Perseverance is key. Update: I received a personal phone call from Gina and was assured that my concerns were valid, and that Princeton Radiology was working on a fix to their appointment system. I look forward to seeing how that works out. Also, she assured me that my billing issue was being addressed. I'm assuming that's in process as I write this. I appreciate the effort in calling and explaining, in some detail, what positive changes were being made. read more

Princeton Radiology has truly awful and despicable billing practices. They mailed my bill to an outdated address for me and made no effort to call or email me to notify me that I had an outstanding balance. I guess they've never heard of a computer and don't know how to use a telephone. Instead, they sent my bill to collections. These people are totally incompetent shakedown artists. read more

Needed some diagnostic radiology performed. Gave them my insurance information, and they said that my primary (GHI) wasn't accepted (even though GHI's website said it was). Gave them my secondary. The night before the imaging was to be done, they cancelled my appointment and told me to get a pre-authorization. She could have said that three days earlier when I made the appointment. On the bright side, the Marlboro office was very pleasant, and apologetic about having come in without knowing they had cancelled my appointment. read more

I would avoid this place at all costs, as they are incredibly difficult to deal with. I've enjoyed a perfect credit score throughout my entire adult life and have never once had a blemish on my credit history. Suffice it to say, I pay my bills. However, Princeton Radiology completely screwed up my billing and referred me to a collection agency without giving me a chance to address the situation. ***updated Nov 7, 2022*** PR followed up with me about my review and I was very pleased to hear that they had taken my comments to heart. They insisted my experience had not been typical and assured me they were going to take steps to ensure this wouldn't happen to anyone else. They made clear that they understood very well how menstruation is unique to every individual and doesn't follow any hard and fast rule and that I should have been taken at my word and not forced to justify myself when the date I gave for my next period did not correspond with the scheduler's calculation. I'm heartened, really, to see that they took this seriously enough to warrant calling me about it. Because these little interactions when dealing with health issues can make a chore more unpleasant than it already is. And in the same way that I was pissed off for days after dealing with the scheduling person, I know I will be buoyed by this nice conversation I just had with the person who called me to follow up about my complaints. My mother was in Centre State Hospital and had a MRI by Princeton Radiology. Her doctor never got the requested records, nor did I get phone calls back from messages left, however, all it takes is one person (the right person) when i called back after several days and pushed different buttons to get a "live human being" on the phone. Mary Jo in the Quaker Bridge location was so helpful and so understanding. i was sent here by my doctor for some x-rays. Made and appointment. arrived about 10 minutes early. checked in.. filled out some forms.. waited another 5 minutes before they called my name. X-rays took about 10 minutes and i was done. Nice and efficient staff. Also, if you want a copy of your x-rays, just ask, it's free. Seems like they are always pretty busy so it's hard to get them on the phone sometimes... just be patient.. :) read more

While the technicians are professional,the front desk staff is definitely not. While I was waiting to be checked in a patient who was finished with her appointment came up to the desk and said she was told to book another appointment in 6 months. Both of the young women at the front desk said rudely "we don't book that far in advance'. The patient then asked how far ahead they did book. "I have no idea" was the reply she received. I commented to the front desk staff that if they don't know the answer to the question,they should ask someone. No patient wants to be told that the front desk staff has " no idea". Some basic customer service training would do wonders here. Teach them not to discuss their personal lives(which they were also doing),greet patients in a friendly,professional manner,and by all means,to find the answers to questions asked of them. read more

I have been coming here for years for my annual mammogram. The staff is always so friendly and nice to deal with. They go out of their way to help you feel comfortable. On occasions when my script was not there, they would call my dr. for me to make sure everything went through. Today's visit was a nice surprise, I got a free manicure gift card! I have generally had good experiences here, but I went in for an X-ray on Sept 22 and after being checked in (which took awhile as expected) had to wait 35 minutes in the tiny cubby hole before I finally went back out to ask if anyone was going to check on me. The tech said, oh, give me two seconds. Ten minutes later, they still hadn't done anything. It took 45 minutes, and me asking them twice, before the got around to taking the simple X-ray. In the meantime, at least half a dozen other people were attended to. Not good. read more
