I guess I will start out with the only redeeming value about this place with the two servers that came back and forth to my table. They were really friendly and constantly coming up to me to see if I needed anything and were quick to bring it out if I did. Now to the food. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller for dine in along with some wings and a fried food for the road. When I ordered I said put them all together so that by the time I finished the oysters id have my food still hot and be on my way. The oysters to start are not traditional in the that dish doesn't usually have bacon on it and I was disappointed in that. When the oysters came out the presentation was disqusting. It looked like some one got some slop from a pan and threw it in an oyster shell, but their air was far from marksman status. The taste of the oysters were even worse. no amount of crackers and horseradish could disquise how bad the dish was and it really upset my stomach. Needless to say the rest of my order was not ready and I wonder if it was even started since I had to wait an additional 30 minutes with an upset stomach (from the oysters) for wings and my fried app. Once I got home the wings looked like the had freezer burn all over them and were well below acceptable taste wise along with the other thing I had ordered. I have lived in Murfreesboro for over 7 years and Jefferson's used to be my favorite place to go!! When I went to school at MTSU a few years ago, it was a great atmosphere, great food, good drinks, and a fun place to go. I was even considered a regular here for a point in time. My last 10-15 experiences at Jefferson's have been a complete and total let down. The management and the service have gone down so much, and it's truly so sad to see such a down turn in a restaurant that was once my favorite. I have tried ordering from Jeff's 3 times since COVID started, all three times my order was messed up, a server double charged me, and today they even forgot two of my meals- however that happens????? This is not even to mention the prior 10 meals in Jefferson's that were served cold. Yummmm what everyone wants frozen chicken on a plate. After telling server, after server, and even management- the consistent attitude has never been customer friendly or like they even care to keep a good reputation in Murfreesboro. Honestly so saddening to notice the lack of integrity in the Murfreeesboro location - Get Trey off the food truck and back into the restaurant before your whole business goes under. I don't Mr. Jefferson would be pleased to understand the extreme downturn in his company. They have corn nuggets!!!! And their double dipped wings are to die for! I've never had them before and I haven't seen them since, Jefferson's is the only place where I can find these flavorful crispy finger-lookin good wings. ABOVE-AND-BEYOND SERVICE WITH A VARIETY OF TASTY WINGS!!! I picked-up my daughter after a "2 hour day" of school. I drove into the parking lot to determine when they opened. The manager was in the parking lot, and politely asked if he could help. He said they wouldn't be opening for 45 minutes, but to come right in, and he would take care of us. That is service worth writing a review about. There is a tremendous wing flavor selection. This place is great it has a dive bar thing going ! I love the food is amazing!!! Today is my first visit here but will be far from the last . How can anyone with taste buds call this food. Literally everything they make, you can find in the frozen foods section of your local grocery and add some sauce to it and bam! That will be $10 please. The food was bland, it was warm at best, and just overall gross and over priced for what it is. I highly doubt anything in that restaurant is made fresh or made in house. If cooking up pre-packaged food in the microwave or oven counts as a restaurant, then I need to raid the frozen foods section and start one in my kitchen. All I wanted to eat was some of their delicious double dipped chicken, so I tried to place a to go order. I got put on hold for 7 minutes, then hung up on. I preceded to call back for 10 minutes and no one answered the phone. The food is delicious but this was not the first time I had horrible service. The best cheesy fries I have ever had. Seasoned and covered with several types of cheese and covered in bacon. we also got a honey mustard burger (very yummy) and hot wings. The wings in flavor are the best we have ever had but they were not hot. There is a slight kick but no actual heat. If they could make the sauce hotter they would be the place to go. Judging ny the other patron, Jefferson's is a MTSU hangout with lots of TVs to watch the game on. We will definitely be going back. read more

This is a great burger restaurant with an amazing menu. My son and I completely enjoyed the burgers, mine mushroom and Swiss & his western burger. The were cooked perfectly, fires were good and side salad was excellent! Will be coming back soon! read more

The service use to be great back in 2016 and 2017 but has recently fallen off with new staff. The food is alright but has gone up in price. My biggest complaint is the oysters there. They advertise them all the time so one would think they are pretty good. I wanted to try them so I ordered a half dozen and was not pleased with my experience. They did not seem very clean to start. They also had a fishy smell to them, oysters should have no smell or be very mild. Upon trying to eat them I found that they were not shucked very well and they required some effort to get them out. Out of all the places I have had oysters this was by far my worst experience and would recommend people try something else on the menu before getting the oysters. read more

I stopped in for lunch at Jefferson's today. The food was great. The server was friendly and attentive. I got the wings, half mild half garlic Parmesan. The wings are crispy which I like. They are not breaded either. When wings aren't crisp places tend to undercook the wings especially larger wings. You don't have that problem here. If I had any suggestion, it would be the mild wings needed a little more sauce. The fries were seasoned perfectly. I prefer fresh cut fries, but the fries are crinkle cut and good. It is a small place with only about 10 tables, so you might have to wait if they are busy. I think a larger space would bring in more customers, but I will be back regardless. read more

It's all in the preference at Jeffersons if you like your wings burnt to a crisp go for bone in for some reason they automatically cook them that way so if you don't want them dry you have to specify I wouldn't go for boneless wings here it seems like a lower quality meat the owner of this place is so friendly and he comes out and greats the customers and checks on their food he's an amazing guy he knows how to do wings. go here read more

I was really craving some chicken and I have heard great things about Jefferson's so I thought I'd give it a try but I wanted to grab take out. I called this location THREE times and no one answered. So I decided I would just go there and wait for me food but ended up just deciding to eat there. When I entered there were zero parties in the restaurant. At this point I'm just confused as to why no one picked up all three times I called if there were no guests in the restaurant. Also the chicken was a disappointment. read more

Super Bowl wing choice....first time to frequent. Got the double dipped, medium and BBQ. Double dipped and medium were tasty, large, and sliced well. Not hot by any stretch but good flavors. Also got the BBQ---no go on those, and an order of corn nuggets. If I am ever laid up for a while (which I hope not to be), friends can go pick these up and throw them into my mouth out of sympathy. I love the food, I really do. However, the customer service is POOR! I ordered last week and received burned food, for which they told me that I would have 2 free meals. BUT not only was it a bad experience that I soon forgot about, I ordered again this afternoon to be delivered. I called and talked to the lady, she asked me my name (mind you, she cut me off in the middle of a sentence) and then said you can pick up your order. She didn't even ask what I was calling about, she just assumed that I was calling about my order AND HUNG UP!! I just cannot believe the prices are so high, the customer service sucks, and they obviously do not QUALITY check before exiting the kitchen. 1st! If you don't like your job, DON'T do it! You make everyone else miserable when you are. 2nd! It's your job to work in food, maintaining a good quality is a HUGE deal! 3rd! This is the VERY last time that I will be doing business with Jefferson's and I will be sure to share my experience with my co-workers and friends! Not a great experience. We arrived at Jefferson's and were seated by 8:50 and ordered shortly after. I heard the server call to the kitchen for our wings as soon as the order was placed but the food did not arrive for another hour. I heard the manager ask for 28 minute wings at one point. He was aware the kitchen was being extremely slow and did nothing about it. Jefferson's is a fast casual restaurant and tonight it was not fast at all. A friend recommended this place to us,& we looked forward to trying the food. Ordered our food from Mallory for curbside on 2-27-21 at 7:10 pm. I was told our food would be ready in 25 mins. I paid for it online & when we arrived I let know on the app that we had arrived at 7:35. I was told on the app that our food would be out shortly. They were pretty steady with people coming to get food, so we understood it was taking a little longer than the 25 mins. After 20 mins of waiting,I called & asked if our food was ready. The lady said yes it's ready,& when I told her we'd been waiting 20 mins, she said Oh! in the black truck? She brought our food,& apologized,& we told her it was fine. 15 more mins to get home. The food was horrible!!! Buns on the burgers were soggy, Mushrooms-soggy, fries-soggy,& my burger was rare,not medium well! Could only eat around the edges!!
