I recently moved out to Polk Co and I have heard so much about Jefferson's. I was on my way into work and decided to swing in a try some of their hot wings (my weakness). We were very disappointed in the food we picked up to go.We called it in and were told 40 to 45 mins. When got the food it was just shy of cold. The styrofoam boxes trap moisture so all the buns were soggy as well as the fries and fried pickles. The chopped pork was plentiful but had to give it the sauce because there wasn't any seasoning on it. Not a bbq dish to me unless you don't want any salt or pepper or even a rub before you cook the meat. The slaw tasted just like mine so I enjoyed it since it was supposed to be cold. The pricing was quite high. It average out to costing $15 a piece. $45 and we had to throw away most of it. Quick tip placing folded paper towel or a couple of napkins on top of the sandwiches that are not open face but put together (the inside of the bun can't take being in a steam bath) then the napkin will absorb the condensation. I had heard about the store in Villa Rica be just so so but I have seen their parking lot filled so many times that we thought we'd give it a chance. This restaurant has been our go place to eat since it opened. Visited it today and had to walk out! They seated us at a table that was not cleaned, remnants of food scattered around, cup rings on surface. Picked up a menu and it was sticky. Waitress that brought our drinks had no mask, the few that did have mask had the pulled down under the chin. Cooks and food handlers had no mask or gloves. Sorry no way to do business in this environment. read more

My wife and I came back for our usual date night dinner and service was exponentially better and the food came out quick and fresh. This is the Jefferson's that my wife and I have grown to love and drive 30 mins to enjoy some of the best wings we ever had. read more

We have been to several Jefferson's locations and never had such bad service has we had at this location. We first off had to wait over 25 mins to get seated, then when we did get seated it took us forever to get food and drinks. It seemed like the staff was more worried about the bigger parties than anyone that had two or four people at the table. I think they need more training in customer service skills. read more

My little sister goes here often with her little family, so it was an easy choice for her birthday dinner. We had a group of 13 that turned into 15. The food was great - typical bar fare food, lots of fried yumminess. The fried pickles and corn nuggets were yummy! Our server was great, got all the orders correct, and was very attentive. Amongst our group we had: wraps, burgers, wings, salads, queso, and the philly cheese steak - everyone was happy with their food. They do need to be a little more attentive to their bathrooms though... there was human excrement on the floor which made it's way onto the less than observant children's shoes. The service was not good the food was terrible. If you want frozen Chicken Patty, not chicken breast, frozen French fries and frozen onion rings this place to go. Service was slow when it wasn't very busy, took us forever to get our drinks. My friend ordered oysters and half of them were just the empty shells with no oysters in them. I have been here multiple times over the past few months. I can not think of a time when I would brag about the service. You wouldn't think that if you were the only person at the bar with 2 bartenders you would have to wait for a beer. One of my earlier visits I ordered a mixed drink and finished it before my food came out, after 5 minutes of my empty glass sitting on bar i flaggeg down the bartender who responded "oh would you like anoyher?" I like this place better than any of the other chicken wing places in Hiram. Just like any chicken wing place there is always a hit or miss with the taste of the sauces and how the wings are prepared. If I want wings this would be my first choice. read more

We visited this evening as it's my son's 13th birthday today and this is his favorite place to go. We have lived in the area since 2016 and frequently eat there or order pickup. I am not one to run to Yelp and report slightly bad experiences but I felt compelled to pass this on to others. My husband never got his dinner this evening. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and when it finally came his wings were cold...not even lukewarm. His onion rings didn't come out until we were leaving. The server took the wings back and when they came back out they were temperature hot, but not mild as he ordered. He ate 3 and couldn't eat any more. We mentioned this to Amanda, our server, who said she would speak to her manager. The manager never came out to see us, but took an appetizer off of our bill - which was $6, and the wings that he couldn't eat were $22. I said that this wasn't acceptable and Amanda went back to have the manager come out, which never happened. I know this isn't the servers fault at all...Amanda did the best she could. Kay was the manager on duty and clearly needs some training in customer relations. She NEVER came out to apologize, check on things, try to smooth things over...nothing. Her total lack of leadership and concern will be this restaurants downfall. I hadn't looked at reviews recently, as I myself have left great ones for this location in the past, but lesson learned. We will be spending our money elsewhere for the immediate future. Very disappointed, especially on a special occasion. read more

Worst meal I've had in a long time. Burger was more bread than meat and not even on the level of McDonald's. Fries were cold and hard. The girls never came back to the table after she brought the food. So I ate the burger and left the fries and when I said something about the fries she asked were they hard? And I said cold too and she just nodded her head like that was normal. Left a review on their page and after a few comments the comments were removed and no longer allowed to comment on it. read more

Walked in and sat down. They waited on us pretty quick. But the place had Fly's all over the place! So Nasty! Floors were Dirty! Front doors were horrid! Didn't see a Health Department Score. Will Not go back to this place! We have been to the one in Alabama ( Rainbow City) many times and it is great. read more

This place is amazing!! My husband and I got 2 dozen oysters and 2 fried oyster platter's!! Our children got mini corn dogs with applesauce and a grilled cheese with fries!! They raw oysters were amazing and very clean!! The fried oyster were awesome and fried to perfection!! Loved the batter they were fried in!! Our children loved their meals also!! The one complaint we probably had was that it was a little warm inside. But in this ga heat, it's pretty predictable. read more

Also on a scale from 1 to zaxbys "insane" sauce the "afterburner" sauce, which is supposed to be the hottest, is probably a 3, so a bit disappointing. We were running late to meet some friends for dinner on october 28th 2019,, so we called in and order so it would be ready ,,,the girl on the phone was very helpful . When we got there i went to the bar to get our food ,,,she took it to the kitchen and had it put on plates for us . A waitress came by and got our drink order and came back with our food and our drinks without a hesitation of who would get the tip . The food was great the service was better .... Really love this restaurant. I have eaten at every location. And was very excited to see this one open and very close to my home. When it first opened everything was amazing. But over time the quality of food has dropped just a little. And the score is dropping every time I go back into eat. I really hate to see this due to this being one of my favorite restaurants around. The selection of food items is awesome. And the detail that they take to some of the most simplest items like hotdogs is what really raises the bar. The employees are rude, the manager cussed me for refusing to pay for a wrap that first off was forgotten and when I asked where my food was I got a big bite and got a mouth full of what I'm positive was orajel and my mouth went numb. This particular restaurant is horrible. We walked in and they were extremely busy and there was no hostess and we were told to sit anywhere. We found a booth and sat down and it was twenty minutes before anyone gave us a menu and even then we had to ask for them. The waitress who brought our menus just gave them to us and left without asking us if we needed anything. Finally we stopped another waitress and she took our order. About twenty minutes after that she came to the table and told us our food was waiting for us in the window. We finally got our food five minutes after she told us that. Jeffersons in rockmart is absolutely horrible! The owner is so rude and speaks to his employees not as equals but more as indenturaed servants. We dined their for the first time last week.
