We love sitting at the bar here with Melissa. She is very attentive and sweet. The service is quick and the atmosphere is very nice. Stopped in for a meal at 3:30 PM today and was told there would be a wait. There were about 5 other parties waiting as well, but the entire restaurant was empty. According to the twelve-year-old working the hostess station,, there were not enough servers available. We made the wise decision to leave. read more

Well, this place has been hit or miss for a little while now let's just start out with the score of an 81 on a brand New restaurant is a little off putting. but we were craving the restaurant so stayed anyway I do not recommend the wings they were highly over seasoned. I got the hamburger steak, which was not sitting in a plate of gravy like it should be but a plate of grease instead. Also one in my party ordered a renegade steak and it came out so well done it was burnt and was like beef jerky. The fries on my plate were also ice cold. I think it'll be a while before we come back and after pointing these things out the waitress just said sorry and left it at that no discount no manager visiting our table or anything. I would pick another steak place if I was you. I guess on a positive note. The restaurant was fairly clean so I guess the score of an 81 had everything to do with the kitchen. read more

The food was cooked to perfection! The service by Abby T. was great! This was one of the best Long Horn experiences I've ever had.

I've been to this new location three times. The first two times it was a great experience, but last night was a bust. Maybe a big part of the difference was the server - Cory was amazing the first two times and the food was great Yesterday, my husband's soup was cold. He had it sent back, and the second bowl was slightly warmer, but still not hot. At that point, he gave up and just ate it. French onion soup should always be piping hot since it was just under the broiler. Our waitress was AWOL quite often while we were there. Another waitress brought out our food, and yet another waitress brought us refills. We never got the extra bread we asked for, either. Also, there wasn't enough handicapped parking, so we had to park on the other side of the building and my husband had to wheel around the entire outside of the building. He won't be returning to this location. read more

This was our first time at this longhorn I have to say this is the best service, awesome food, great management all the way around! My husband has never ordered ribs at longhorn but he said they were the best ribs he's ever had while going out to eat. The waitress was on point she came to check on us a lot even though they were busy for a Friday night. We met three managers during our visit (they kept checking on us) asked how service and food was. If you haven't been to this location you should try it. The bread was warm and cooked to perfection. The steaks were also great! If you tried them during their opening months maybe you should give it another shot. We finally made it out to this LongHorn Steakhouse after it being open about three months. We purposely waited to give them some time to work out the usual "new restaurant" hiccups, as we know that's normal for any business. Our server, Christy, was very nice, friendly, and attentive -- she did a good job of checking in and making sure we were comfortable. The service from her side was solid. The food itself was tasty once it arrived, but the timing in the kitchen was the real issue. Our entrées took over 15 minutes to make it to the table, which felt longer than it should have given the crowd level. Even more surprising was the dessert -- after already waiting on our meals, we still decided to order dessert, but it ended up taking around 20 minutes to come out. Typically, dessert should be one of the quickest parts of a meal, maybe 5-8 minutes, so this was disappointing. Overall, the staff on the floor seems kind and eager to please, but the kitchen is clearly still struggling to get things out in a reasonable timeframe. Hopefully, with a little more time and focus, they can smooth this out because the restaurant itself has potential. read more

First time there. Never have we had such screwed up service-EVER !!!!! We got entrees before appetizer and salads. Had to constantly ask for bread...drink order was messed up -- reordered and still messed it up!!! We first thought it might be our waiter and some of it for sure was him. We were by the kitchen and it seems everyone did not have a clue of what to do. They did adjust the bill as they should have. First and last time for us, will not chance that again !!! read more

We could tell this was a brand new store because everything was clean. AND the bathroom had hot water (the only good thing to come from the PlanDemic). The food was BETTER than our LongHorn in Dawsonville (I had salmon) and we got the golden ticket when we were assigned to EMILY (sorry, didn't get a last name). She was amazing. I put myself through college working in a restaurant and she was doing the same, so I KNOW when someone loves their job and goes the extra mile. In my revisionist history mind, I was the BEST server on the planet - ; D. Emily's attention to detail was amazing. She checked on us many times even though she was busy. First time here I know they haven't been open long but it was pretty bad. The steaks tasted like a salt block they were so over seasoned. The steamed asparagus was like chewing on tree bark they were so crunchy and the brussel sprouts were burnt and had so much sugar in them you couldn't eat them. My family of 6 and I went to the new Longhorns location located in Rockmart GA. We arrived around 6:15ish. We were trying to celebrate a birthday. The first half of the meal was good. We got our drinks, bread, two apps (onion petals and wings), and salads. Around 7:40 we had still not received our food. Once we did 4 out of the 6 meals were either over cooked, under cooked, or miraculously both! Additional items were missing and incorrect. For instance never received the French onion soup that was ordered but when asked for it to go they still brought it out in a regular bowl. Manager said they only had one person working the cooking line and that she was having to work it herself as well. She made it seem as if we could still eat the food and shrug the mishaps with a free app and 25% off the ticket. We asked for the meals to be recooked as it was already late and we were hungry. She said it would take a couple minutes...20 minutes later still no food. By 8:00 we said we had to leave. Another manager came out to let us know he "paid" for our meal?! He said he only charged us for the drinks and one app as of he did my family and I and favor. I'm sorry but one he did not pay for our meal. We didn't even eat! All of the food remained on the table that was sent wrong. Even the two orders that were correct were left untouched. Second the drinks and the app that I was still charged for $32.00 should have been waived as well. The staff and the mangers were unapologetic, serving inedible food, and providing terrible customer service. This establishment will not be open long if this is how they treat customers. Maybe the male manager who "paid" for my untouched undercooked overcooked meal should worry less about his smoke break or outside break behind the restaurant and focus on his paying customers waiting for their dinner. read more
