It was packed on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. Wait was around 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad at all. The menu has lots of options for both breakfast and lunch. I looked at the selection of "Bubbles" and happily ordered their mimosa. I was so sad to be told that while it was on the menu, they don't have a liquor license. I was also confused because Biscuit Belly didn't seem to have this same problem. The donuts were nice, especially the Carmel one that was warm. The grits bowl had good flavor and was a great portion! My son liked the sauce that came with his chicken and waffles. They don't have hashbrowns. Like, the crispy outside/soft inside traditional breakfast potato isn't a thing here. Party of 2 - Saturday morning around 10:30am in early August 1st time visiting. Nice breakfast spot beside a gas station. It gets pretty full as the hours get later so get there early for prompt service I wanted to order the Chimi Steak Scrambler however the server indicated the steak would not be cooked to order. It is what it is - THAT was pretty disappointing so I settled for the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. The other person ordered the Loaded Home Fry Bowl I believe. The Strawberries and Cream Croissant-style donuts were ordered as a To-go treat. Think funnel cake from the fair. Really good! Overall the place is pretty average. Prices are decent too. Came in here with my buddy on Sunday Sept 14th, 2025 around noon. Place was very busy but we were seated immediately and our waiter came up and immediately took our drink orders. I can't remember his name but he said he has a twin brother. Very professional, efficient and polite guy. Big kudos to service. Even though we were there at noon we wanted breakfast and this turns out to be a great place for that! I had the 2 eggs with sirloin, grits and toast. The eggs were perfectly over medium and the steak was thick, tender and juicy and delicious! I've been to steakhouses that don't prepare steak that well! My buddy had the biscuits with sausage gravy and eggs, and a side of their potato "home fries" which are amazingly good. We are always looking for a good breakfast place in west Cobb or east Paulding area. My brother-in-law told me about this new restaurant in Dallas so we gave them a try. We arrived around noon on Sunday so there were a lot of families dining here after church. My better half gave them her cell number and she was told there were 8 groups ahead of us waiting for tables. Since we were only 2, they seated us very fast (within about 19 minutes of us checking in at the hostess station. A kind member of the wait staff opened the door and we entered their large dining area with a bar seating area overlooking the open kitchen. A wait staff asked for our drink orders and asked if we had any questions about the menu. We told her that this was our first and she gave us some time to review the menu. My better half ordered the Founder's Hash and eggs with home fries. She said her pouched eggs were cooked perfectly. She said the corned beef hash was tasty. I ordered the chicken Fried Steak with cheese grits. The dish included two slices of chicken fried steak on buttermilk biscuits that was covered with sausage gravy. The grits were ok but I am picky about my grits. I added some butter and salt to the grits. Our server checked on us frequently and she was very kind. I recommend this breakfast place in Dallas if you live near or frequent the area. read more

We arrived on a busy day but we were sitting with in minutes at the bar. I ordered the holiday ham breakfast, my nephew ordered the sticky bun pancakes. This restaurant is quite clean with a friendly environment. Problem is our meal was completed but it sat in window for 10 minutes not under the lights getting cold. This is my second time here. Wanted to give it a second shot before I judge. The food is okay not that good. Even the turkey b bacon wasn't good so pale and undercooked. The coffee isn't good! We needed a diner style restaurant in our neighborhood and finally got one! I had the Carne Asada breakfast burrito, replaced the steak with bacon. It was amazing! Grits were creamy, and home fries were nicely seasoned. The portions are very generous, so be ready to get a to go box. Our server was very friendly, and the food came out really quick, which was a nice surprise. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. This restaurant recently opened about 3-4 weeks ago. We went yesterday and were greeted and placed our name in the waitlist. Within 15 minutes we were seated. Our server took our order and over 30 minutes later our food was served. My wrap was fine. However my husband's Bacon was undercooked ( severely) And we were not about to ask for it to be better cooked since it was over 30 minutes Before our original order was served. They need to improve efficiency and make sure food is properly cooked. Since food is so expensive, they need to make sure food is properly cooked. We won't return anytime soon and if we do, we hope they have things running more smoothly and cooks that know how to properly prepare food. read more

Not great, my plate sat on a shelf, I could see it, while my wife's food was being prepared. This resulted in cold food for me. Server advised all food must go out at the same time. ? I ordered chicken and waffles. The waffles were just okay but the chicken tasted like it was frozen first. On the positive side, staff was friendly. The additional star is only because our server was very polite and attentive. The bad rating is because this truly is not a good eatery. The layout of the place, firstly, is bananas. The hostess stand faces away from the door (what?) and there are no walls or dividers so the entire room sounds so loud and chaotic, not exactly a serene way to start the morning. Really, put some short dividers between your booths so I can hear the conversation in the booth instead of the conversation going on behind me. The food, which in the photos looks great and is well priced (my compliments to your photographer) was horrible. I got the chimi steak scrambler. The chimi used old garlic so it tasted bad. The steak was like shavings of rubber, a far cry from the medium-rare thick cut steak pictured on the menu. The home fries had a weird, gross flavor. The best part was the eggs, which were basic scrambled eggs. My wife had chicken and waffles in which I'm pretty sure the "chicken" was McNuggets. This was just such a disappointing meal all around that I spent the rest of the day thinking of how they could have missed so much. Even the coffee was nasty.
