Made an appointment to come on in on 08/15/2025 to have it checked out for potential repair/replacement, ended up going a different route for repair and it ended up being a wonderful decision, cheaper too! Soldering the chain without the clasp, since I don't even use it, uh Genius! In and out in less than 10mins! I don't know that words could truly express how phenomenal this place is. I'm a firm believer in supporting local family businesses, and when I come across one that does it right like this, I want to direct everyone I know there so they can have the same experience. Well...I didn't find this place myself. My fiancé was the one who researched and bought my engagement ring from them. He worked with Tom, who my fiancé said was a reason he chose to go with Jeffrey Jewelers. After my fiancé made multiple visits to big name franchises he found that Tom was the most honest and sincere about helping him find the right diamond. I wanted an oval diamond, which they didn't have in stock. Tom ordered a few into the store and helped him with the selection. I could not be happier with it. Tom didn't try to force an up sell on him, which he said other places would show him diamonds that were thousands of dollars over what he said was his budget. I met Tom when we went to choose my setting and I completely understood why my fiancé decided on this place. I wanted a custom setting and it was a flawless process. While I was working through the purchase of my setting my brother who lives out of the country wanted to purchase a diamond to propose to his girlfriend. He asked me to help him make the purchase, so of course I asked for Tom's help. Tom communicated effectively via email with both my bother and I on diamonds he had in stock. He combed over all the diamonds they had in their inventory, and even ordered some others in with the specs my bother requested. When I went to make the selection Tom took the time to educate me on diamonds and showed me the difference on each one. He didn't push the most expensive one on me. He helped me select the most beautiful one. While I was selecting my brothers diamond I kept comparing it to mine, and to be honest I was concerned because my didn't look as bright. Tom pointed out that it was because mine was dirty. I didn't believe it since I only had it for a short time, so he took my ring and put it in their steam cleaner. When he brought it back it looked like a different diamond! He explained how natural oils can stick to diamonds very easily. I was amazed! He let me know I could buy a jewelry steam cleaner myself and they were relatively inexpensive. I left my ring with him that day so it could be placed in my setting. A week later I returned to pick up mine and my brothers rings. Tom had our appraisals and certificates ready. On top of that he gifted me with my very own steam cleaner!! I was researching online for one, but hadn't purchase one yet. I was absolutely blown away by such a generous gesture. Throughout each visit I met other employees in the store, Jeffrey even came and introduced himself. Everyone was so friendly. These are hard working honest people. Dana is the best! I had a couple of ideas for a custom ring floating around - she sat me down and immediately started sketching designs (which ended up being _exactly_ what I wanted). Very honest about price, quality, workmanship, etc. She will sit down with you and go through every option for your jewelry. Her custom work is a lot less expensive than "big name" designers - but the quality is there. I had looked at many other stores for a particular size and grade of diamond - buying an AGS certified one from her cost about 40% less than an equivalent one at Wedding Day Diamonds. I took an inexpensive (sentimental) ring to Jeffrey Jewelry after I fell down the stairs (yeah... I would fall down the stairs and land directly on my favorite ring) and the prong bent, making it so the stone was shaking around and you could probably take it out. It's a rough gemstone so the prongs are set in specific places to hold it in securely. I immediately started googling jewelry repair, but to be honest, I felt like someone would be confused as to why I wanted to repair such a cheap ring (under $100 when I bought it). From the reviews on Yelp, it seemed like this place would be the best for a locally owned, friendly and understanding repair and it was true! Everyone I interacted with, from emails to in person consultation and check-out was super friendly and don't pressure you or make you feel awkward. They let me know that my ring size was wrong, so I had it resized as well. They had it done the next day and it looks and feels perfect. I think the setting is more secure than when I first got it. It was also a lot less expensive than I thought it would be, which is just a bonus, as I would have paid more for their service. To be clear: I would trust this place with expensive jewelry any day. They definitely seem to know their stuff and have beautiful (probably more than $100... lol) jewelry in their cases. However, if you're looking for a place for a repair on an inexpensive piece and you don't want to walk into a super commercial or high end shop for fear of looking a bit crazy - I recommend Jeffrey for sure. read more

The employees (Jeffery included) were extremely helpful and we had a nice chat about how I was proposing and our relationship. These folks saved my antique wedding ring! It is a 1920s art deco design - very beautiful, but very fragile. By the time I took it in, it was cracked in 7 or 8 places and I didn't know if it could be salvaged. They took it apart, piece by piece and soldered it onto a solid band, but somehow hid the band so that it looks exactly like it did before. I can't recommend them enough! If I could give 20 stars I would! I stopped in today because I slammed my hand in a car door so the prongs bent and the stone fell out of my wedding ring. I am so glad that I found this place! I recently got engaged with a vintage art deco ring purchased from an online retailer. I needed it resized and got some quotes from jewelry stores around the area. My ring is 19k white gold which had many stores scratching their heads. Another reputable local jeweler quoted me 100 dollars and 2 weeks time to resize my ring. Jeffrey Jewelry really came through for me! They didn't even scoff at the 19k white gold and charged me 35 dollars and finished the job before the business week was done! They treated me amazingly, taking time to consult me to determine the right size I needed and even inspected and polished up my ring free of charge even though we did not purchase it through them. I was a total newbie when my husband, and I came into the store looking for a custom wedding ring. I honestly can't recall how I fell upon Jeffrey's, but it was word of mouth. I feel like it might have been a very old family connection. Anyhow, I had a very cheap sentimental ring that they helped me fix the setting on. When we were ready to create our wedding ring, I wanted to use the band from that ring, a diamond from a ring from my Grandma and a diamond from my mom's wedding band. Both diamonds were similar in size and we were able to find a 3-stone setting that could be worked with the band I wanted. We purchased a diamond for my band. Sitting us down, she walked us through all the parts, was clear on pricing and showed us how to look at and decide on the right diamond. Dana was patient, worked hard finding exactly the right diamond for us in our budget and ring as well as putting the ring together. She was also beyond patient when I came back multiple times to get the ring sized as I never wore rings "all the time" and was both paranoid I would lose the ring while being terrified I'd swell up and it'd get stuck. When they were downtown, I'd pop in on lunch break and get my ring cleaned and say hello. If anything needs tweaking, they did it right there on site in the back room. Tom, Jeffrey, and Dana are all simply fabulous, honest, and do the best to get you exactly what you need in your budget. I took my finance's ring to Jeffrey to get appraised. I had the displeasure of going to Shane and Wedding Day and many other chains to find a setting and diamond. Going to Jeffrey was a breath of fresh air. The appraisal was informative and very accurate. I wish I had gone here to look for her ring since they truly care about their customers. I still ended up with a great diamond and a ring (Jeffrey approved of both), but this store prides itself on high quality products and outstanding service.
