Everything was straight forward and there were no hidden fees or anything of the sort. The car was sold as is and he encouraged me to get a pre purchase inspection from an independent mechanic so I can be completely comfortable with my purchase. Once I got the car inspected and was ready to purchase it, everything was smooth sailing. They got me in and out quick and didn't waste my time at all. DECEPTION: Bought a 2022 Sentra 2 weeks ago. Negotiating price was a nightmare. Yet, I suppose in a lot of cases it is. 1st they said I'd get a $500 military discount. 15 minutes into the process they came back & said it was only for active military. I said, "Stuff it." & began to walk. They came 2 minutes later acting magnanimous, by allowing the discount anyway. Funny how that happens. I wanted to pay cash, & they said there was a cash penalty of $500. What? I thought cash was King. They said IF I made 3 payments to Nissan Acceptance, I could then pay off the loan in cash. It would appear Jeffrey Nissan wanted their pound of flesh. I called Nissan Acceptance a week later & asked if it was typical to penalize one for paying cash. The agent said, "I don't know what this dealership is doing, but I have never heard of such a thing." That lie by Jeffrey Nissan cost me $160. Customer service in general stinks as well. Two days later I had a question about the car. I called twice 2 days in a row, & to this date, no one has gotten back to me. It would be useless if they got back to me now, as I have found my own answer. Be on the lookout for deceptive financial practices, as well as claims of superior customer service. I didn't believe my girlfriend when she stated that the salespeople were very inadequate, however, when I came in to pick up some final paperwork, the salesman acted like he had no idea what I was talking about, even after I played the voicemail he had left stating that he had copies of paperwork for me, he tried to act like he had never left the message. Very terrible experience. I toook my daughter into Jeffrey Nissan and worked with Joe Washington. Very dishonest and sold my daughter a lemon for a vehicle. We purchased a honda accord with 52k miles on it. Within 3 days the A/c condenser went out fast forward 30 days and now the car needs rotors, brake pads and a wheel alignment. I was totally ignored by Joe Washington and my attempts to reach management went on deaf ears as I sat in there showroom 40 minutes without acknowledgement even though no clients where in the building. I scheduled service online, which was really convenient. This may be pandemic-related, but when I dropped off my car they weren't ready for me and wanted me to wait in their waiting room (during a time of high spread of covid in the area). They also weren't ready when I picked up and wanted me to wait in the waiting room again. There were various other people waiting inside both times, including an unmasked customer. My cars issue wasn't fixed, but I had other necessary service done at the time. The employees were really nice and doing the best they could, but there is a major scheduling problem affecting customer service and possibly spreading covid unnecessarily. Everyone involved including the general manager have asked why did I continue with the deal if I felt like I was being cheated. If I could give 0 stars I would! I'm a first time mom and was looking for a car to be good/safe transportation for me and my soon to be newborn. I went and test drove a 2019 Ford Fusion with my stepdad everything seemed great we made an appointment to do all the paperwork and make the final sale. My sales man kept pressing me to insure the car without even knowing what my monthly payments would be or even singing paperwork suggested it's "how it has to be" obviously wasn't gonna insure a car that wasn't even technically mine yet. Then the day of signing they pushed for me to get a warranty which is no big deal except for the fact not even 18hrs after having the car the engine light goes on when I called there servicing center where they told me to go would not take my car to be looked at.. after going back and forth they tell me ok to bring it in they kept It for a couple hrs and they said nothing is wrong and they "cleared the codes" not even 2 hrs after picking it up my engine light is back on and my car is overheating! I had my stepdad call the sales manager Todd and he said he was gonna take it back in and make sure everything is looked at and fixed. They had my car for over a week I picked it up Monday and Tuesday morning the engine light was BACK ON and overheating. Not only that I'm almost 7 months pregnant and can't turn the A/C on in the dead of summer because the car shakes uncontrollably when I do! I've tried calling them and get no answer! I could go on and on about this issues this dealership has brought me and I haven't even had the car a full month. If you want to deal with a team of careless people this is the place for you! Poor customer service! I got my latest lease from this place. I wasn't happy that my car wasn't ready and I had to wait 2 hours to pick it up. Sales guy didn't bring up the fact that I didn't have an automatic remote start, being that with the weather in Michigan and brutal winters that could be an important feature. I recently called the dealership back to turn my lease in and get a new car and asked to talk to another sales person. Talked to some other guy and he brought up the fact that I dealt with someone else before, I told him I wanted to deal with someone new, he laughed and told me he would put something together and Call me back. It's been almost two weeks and no call back. I called again and left a voicemail again and nothing. I guess they don't need the business. Before going I checked that VIN advertised was available. My credit score was above and beyond 740. Nonetheless dealer quoted me a payment of well over $ 250.00 stating that I should have "read the fine print". Unfortunately for them I well read the fine print before going to the dealership. It was devastating to find out their extended warranty Company did not cover a powertrain issue. We decided to go ahead and buy a 2018 Nissan that cost 19,700+ rather then pay out of pocket for another engine on the older car. The customer service we received after an already stressful situation was bad. After wiring the full amount over so we could complete the deal since we had been renting a car for 2 weeks + both the business manager and the Sales consultant did not communicate with each other or with us properly. My wife's Acura started to show letters and numbers in the dash demanding maintenance . I called around to various dealers and was quoted anywhere between 250-300 dollars. Never leaving the west side, but wanting to be cheap, I searched Acura of Roseville and talked with Todd who quoted me a price of 160 dollars for the same service that was offered elsewhere. When I got there, him and his team were very helpful and took care of my car promptly and at a fair price(much cheaper than everyone else!) To make this better, I had an hour and a half to kill, Todd gave me an MDX to drive around and was able to take care of errands. Todd explained for people on the west side, to help with business, they will pickup your car and give a you a loaner for the day.. This is my new dealership for any and all Acura repairs read more

The lease I entered into 3 years ago with Jeffrey Nissan was coming to an end in 2 months. I was contact by a salesperson, named Emily Diebel. She did not pressure me but wanted to know if I had an idea of what I wanted to do at the end of my lease. I was unsure. She asked questions about what type of vehicles I liked, down payment and desired monthly payment. I liked this because this did start me to thinking what I would like to do at the end of my lease. She emailed me several quotes and said she would give me some time to think. In the meantime I began looking at the newly designed Rogue. When Emily called again I was able to tell her I wanted to stick with the Rogue. I went to the dealership and test drive the Rogue and loved it. Emily immediately started to work to get me the style and color I wanted. I never had to call her, she stayed on top of this and was calling me, even gave me her personal cell number to call in case power was lost during the frequent thunderstorms that were happening. In less than a week, with one month and a few days remaining on my current lease, I was driving in my new Rogue. Emily was the best. She was no pressure, wanted to make me, the customer, happy and remained on top of all lease- end/ new purchase details. This was an absolutely infuriating visit to the Jeffrey Nissan Service Center. My check engine light came on in my Nissan, so I took it to the shop to get it checked out. The attendant told me that there was a $138 diagnostic fee for all cars. This should have been a red flag but at first I understood because you don't want people coming in and getting free checks without paying for the service. They told me that there could be an hour wait to run the tests. He called me 20 minutes after I left the shop to tell me that I had to pay $195 to reprogram the car's ECM (Engine Control Module). I was floored. How could it cost $195 to reprogram anything. No parts, no labor, just plugging my car into a computer and typing a few numbers. I was so pissed off because I agreed to pay $138 to get my car back if I didn't get the work done. I had no idea it would cost that much and he gave me no indication that it could cost that much. On top of that he told that the program would take an hour and 30 minutes to run. He called me back 15 minutes later to tell me my car was ready. So I payed $195 just to have my car hooked up to a computer for 35 minutes total. No physical parts were removed or repaired. I should have known better when he told me $138 just to check it. I thought it was an insurance policy to stop people from taking advantage but it was just so they could make sure they robbed me! If you have ANY other options, go somewhere else to get your car serviced! read more

What can I say about this place? If you want poor service this is the place to go. I will never come back. I am really disappointed by their dishonesty, disrespectful manners, and lack of professionalism. First, It took an act of congress to make an appointment. The reps on the phone have no idea what they are doing...they would place me on hold for 10-15 minutes at a time, transfer me to the wrong area/person/random voicemail, and then drop the call each and every time. It took me a few tries to get my appointment: I requested a wheel alignment and oil change. On the day of my appointment, I was running late leaving work (I work at a hospital), and I called in to let them know. I asked if they would still be able to complete wheel alignment and oil change if I came in late (I was 20+ miles away from them and had to drive in rush hour...and I told them this) and the rep told me it would be fine since they have no appointments for the remainder of the evening. I arrived only to stand in front of the reps unacknowledged for 15 minutes. There was no line. It was ridiculous. I asked if I was in the right place/where should I check in, and they told me to wait to for someone to help me. Finally, the rep walked over and asked me what I was there for. I told him I had an appointment, ran late, but was told I could still come for service. He told me that my appointment never existed, and I was just walking in. He then contradicted himself and told me that he would complete my oil change and tire rotation. When I attempted to clarify my service requests, he said he did not have time to do a wheel alignment and just stared at the clock. I politely asked why the rep on the phone told me there would be enough time... to which he replied that it was my fault for erroneously telling them I needed a tire rotation (excuse me???) then asked me if I wanted an oil change or not. No apologies, no offer for a different appointment time, or alternative solution. When I declined, he said "Ok, bye" and walked away. read more

I discussed purchasing a vehicle from Mr Schmidt through the "internet sales" department for a Maxima SL. In the text messages, which I have proof of, he quoted the price of the Maxima to be $24,777. Surprised by this amount, I requested him to verify that the price of this vehicle was $24,777 and not a typo. He verified with me 4 times, 4 TIMES which I have proof of, that was the price of the vehicle. However when asked for the price prior at the time of purchasing the vehicle, it was 34,777 and was a typo b/c of "fat fingers". No offense, but a one time typo is understandable, but 4 times!! Either there is some serious incompetence occurring or this is a classic BAIT AND SWITCH to reel you in. Very saddened by this dishonesty and will write a similar post to the Better Business Bureau for further investigation. read more

Last week, I sent a request for pricing on a new TLX. In the request, I not only offered up what a competitor quoted me, but explicitly said I'd need to drive past two other Acura dealerships to get there, and to please just send me pricing instead of an invitation to come visit the dealership. You'd think after multiple messages back and forth, one would contain a number, right? Here's what I got a couple of days later: "...since I know you have already done your homework and have got a few quotes I think the next step in the natural progression to be able to get you on target with your schedule for this weeks delivery is to have you stop in and see me to get things started." The service manager Kristen changed his price quote multiple times and kept sliding into the invoice which we had not agreed upon. He told me that my pressure switch just randomly went missing even though I told him it was there when the car came in. My bill went from $490 to over $1000 because supposedly he kept finding things wrong but would not provide me the old parts that went bad. When I called him out on it, he decided to be disrespectful and hung up. This is a dealership run by a bunch of amateurs so please avoid at. My car was hydro locked in the recent flood that hit southeast Michigan and I had to have my engine replaced. I went to 4 different mechanics and dealerships all of who weren't able to help me find what was wrong with my car after my engine was replaced. Most of them didn't care about helping, or really taking the time to find out why my car was still not working. I finally went to Jeffrey Acura as a last resort. The service Manager there Matt was courteous, professional, and was very reassuring he could fix my car. After a few days he had researched and found the issues with my car that others couldn't do in over a month. My car was completely fixed and Jeffrey Acura had saved me from having to get a new car and saved me thousands. They even gave me a good loaner car while the repairs were being done for free. This was the best service experience I have had and I'd recommend this service department to anyone who has issues with their car. It was a long wait to get what i wanted. To get my new vehicle took a week. Fast talker Joe Washington would not listen to what i wanted and tried to sway me to other vehicles very persisent on what he thought was better for me. Worst customer service ever. They told my 75 year old mom to come in because they had the model car she was looking to buy. Not only did they not have it, but they stuck a sales person on her who tried to pressure her to do a lease for another car. I know these dealerships try and get people to come in so that then they can get people to not leave without a car. But this was outright so disgusting. She has barely left the house the last 6 weeks as she has been recovering from an illness. So to lure an elderly woman out on the pretense of having something she wanted seems pretty cruel to me. Even for a car dealership. To top it off, they said they would not honor the deal they had offered just a few days ago even if they had the car?! So basically they are saying, "we don't have the car we told you to come in for and even if we did, we wouldn't give it to you for the price we told you. Scott D. Overall, very dissatisfied. As a former Auto Sales Rep, I could have gone to many other dealers, and received a much better deal, but wanted a Nissan. I literally waited to purchase in December, one of the best times of year to get the best deal. I was offered nothing in an effort to do business with Jeffrey Nissan. The price for the 2015 Altima (purchased 12/11/17) was 14k on the website, but the price was slashed to indicate a "special price." I paid the full 14k (no special price offered), plus full price for all aftermarket products (extended warr, gap ins, tire & wheel); no special price offered. The salesman (Luigi) was completely detached during the sale, offered no presentation on the features of the vehicle, and has not reached out to me since the sale (no follow-up). I even offered referral business (of my previous customers) if the deal (and customer service, or transparency) was satisfactory. No referrals here!!! The environment was very tense, and unwelcoming. The other sales reps, employees, etc were very distant, unfriendly, and appeared "unhappy" to see a customer (buying a car) in the dealership. On a positive note, I do love my car. It's exactly what I wanted (outside of the "touch-up" detailing on the dashboard I would have appreciated), and Jeffrey Nissan was close to home. Step up your customer service, or fail miserably. Customer service makes the difference, especially in the Motor City where the car buying (dealership) options are endless. Also, its common practice to offer options and specials to earn a customer's business, especially a new, first-time customer.
