I went for an oil change, and the gentleman that helped me was extremely helpful and the service is quite fast. I did do an additional service so I was there for about 2 1/2 hours in total but the waiting room had TVs vending machines complementary snacks and waters and Wi-Fi. So I was able to get quite a bit of work done while I was getting my car looked at. There was a little bit of should I do something should I not but at no way where they pushy with the advice they were giving me. I only called my father twice to ask for advice but again very helpful with the information I receive from the service center. read more

This is my second vehicle with Jeffrey, my salesperson Gloria is outstanding but this service department and finance man are the reason for 2 stars. I have purchased the Sentinel oil change program from them for both my cars. When I was brought my first car in for an oil change the service tech told me that unfortunately I did not purchase the program and would have to pay the full charge. He looked it up again and said that I had not. 2 years later I'm sitting in the finance office for my second lease with Jeffrey and the finance guy says that I did purchase the Sentinel program and it was my fault for not pursuing the issue further. I was guaranteed this would not be an issue on next lease. I generally do not buy add ons from the dealer but the oil change made sense to me if I wanted the dealer to service the car. Well low and behold I go for the first oil change and they try and charge me, I have to explain that I have the Sentinel program and you need to check with the sales manager because I'm not paying for this. Every time I bring the car in Jeffrey tries to charge me for the oil change, why sell the program if you make it difficult to use it? I cannot recommend a dealer who will sell you a program and try not to honor it, and to make it worse blame you for the failure. I would love to continue my relationship with Gloria but after my dealings with the finance department and service I'm forced to look elsewhere. Edit: Again Gloria exceeded expectations handling this situation. I received a phone call from the GM Mike shortly after my visit to service and after my email to her explaining my dissatisfaction with the dealership. Mike took ownership of the failure and offered a solution to possibly continue our relationship. This is how management handles dissatisfaction, let's see if things change. Five stars for the salesman, Tim who was very personable and patient with us. Zero stars for everyone and every step after the initial sale. Our experience with the finance manager, Paul, will be detailed below: To begin, this is our very first car purchase. We entered Jeffrey Honda with minimal knowledge of procedures. In hindsight, we have learned that Paul used every single trick in the book on us; fatigue, rushing, lack of transparency and preyed on our lack of knowledge. Paul had prior knowledge of our loan amount and sold us warranties and protections that are not cancelable that went far beyond our budgeted loan amount. He did not disclose the actual prices of these warranties nor how much they added to the total cost, which turned out to be about $6,000, pushing us way over our budget. We were not aware of the actual final costs until we looked at our total loan payment at home. We were only shown the monthly payments, not the total cost, and left the dealership without any paperwork detailing these extra warranties, including what they cover and their duration (even after a second visit to his office). On this return trip to the dealership to speak with Paul the Finance Manager, who ignored our calls, he excused his reasoning that we only seemed concerned about the monthly payments and not total costs. Not our case in the least. No final costs of the warranties were discussed and how much was being added to the total cost. We were not shown an itemized break down of the total cost of the warranties. If we had seen that, we would have stopped right there and asked to play with the available options again. Despite weeks of shopping around for a vehicle within our budget, we ended up $6,000 over budget due to these add-ons. The process of buying these warranties was not explained; it was just a quick "sign here and initial here" without any thorough explanation of each form we were signing. Instead of paperwork, these forms are signed via an iPad that is manipulated to only display the signature box and the whole form is not visible. When we had a second meeting with Paul, to discuss our financial concerns as well as the shady process of signing these forms. We initially asked to cancel the extended warranty, that we still do not have any information on, and we were told that this warranty was not cancelable. We asked to speak with his boss, which Paul told us he was not on location, but that this person would contact us the very same day. It has been two days, and we still have not received any communication with the dealership. While the cigarette smell in the car is an issue, it would be less upsetting if we had purchased the car at the price we planned. Overall, this experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left us feeling deceived. I would caution anyone considering purchasing from Jeffrey Honda to be extremely vigilant and ensure all costs are transparently disclosed. This $6,000 has been absolutely devastating to our family and has caused extreme emotional distress for what should have been a joyful time in our lives. read more

Place seems very empty. Must schedule to get in appointment only. You can no longer call to see if you can get in during the week. Which is a disappointment to me. They showed a car as available for purchase online. We made an appointment to see the car that same day. Took an Uber to the dealership and they didn't seem to know anything about our appointment. They also didn't seem to know anything about the car. We had our appointment with the sales manager Mike. He never came out to address us or take ownership of the situation. The woman who was trying to help us Melissa was also frustrated and tried her best but the place, in general, was very unprofessional. After about half an hour of various people trying to find Mike, ask Mike, find the car, etc, Mike hovered near us awkwardly for many minutes talked to Melissa, then briefly introduced himself to us while burping and hiccuping the entire time. He did nothing else. The car we were told they had and went to see had been sold the day before. Why were given an appointment? Why didn't they cancel the appointment if they didn't have the car? Why did the actual sales manager not come and try to sell us on something? Why did they not know what cars they have? Even if they had the car which we wanted and needed (again we Ubered there) the place is so bad I wouldn't have made such a big purchase from them. I was told I needed new rotors, a caliper, pads, brake line flush...total was $1,700 for OEM parts with $80 "inspection" fee applied towards total. I called Bob Maxey to get quote for same parts and was quoted $1100. Asked service rep why there'd be such a discrepancy and was told "we price differently ". Never go to this place. NEVER. Service rep told me brakes were so bad he couldn't recommend I drive the car out of his garage to the dealer 5 miles away. Told him to just put the car back together and I'll have it towed if they'd screwed things up so badly doing an inspection. $80 lesson to never let them touch one of my cars again. read more

Recently, I had my Honda in the body shop for minor repairs, which insurance covered; however, I mentioned a recall notice that needed to be taken care of. Since Jeffrey is a Honda dealership, they said they would have the service department take care of it, since the vehicle would be there for a few days, which ended up being almost two weeks! I also brought in the coupon about having the interior detailed, which they said they would do. When I got my car back, the interior wasn't detailed and the recall wasn't taken care of! In fact, there are crayon marks on the exterior of the car and the interior is dusty from the work and not detailed/cleaned as was written up! Since they don't care about customer service, I'll be going elsewhere from now on! Zero stars! As of 12/6/2019, still haven't been contacted about bringing my vehicle in for the warranty work and the detailing that was to be completed when it was originally there a year and a half ago! The dealer replied to my review, but failed to contact me to rectify their mistakes, which should have been done immediately after seeing my original post! They should have contacted me and included in their post that they would, or have contacted me, to fix the issue and not disregard it! I'm writing about SERVICING AND REPAIRS, not sales. I will never return to the dealership where I bought my Fit, and will definitely return to Jeffrey Honda service. The service entrance and repair shops feel bright and clean. I drove my Fit in on a white-painted concrete floor so clean I was afraid of dirtying it with my tires. Yes, I know that's ridiculous. But the floor would show any dirt, grit or grease. A wide, uncluttered express shop opens to the left; same floor. Three linked, tall-cube, service advisor workstations sit next to one lane of this two-lane foyer, open to customers. Instead of sitting in an office behind a walk-up glass window, an advisor comes to you. The setup enables a seamless hand-off from one advisor to another, depending on the service the customer needs. Seamless it was when I decided I wanted the recommended full maintenance instead an express oil-change, which includes many services itself. I didn't know that Jonathan Noble, who handles express service, had handed my car off to Ryan Seidler until Ryan leaned into the waiting area to tell me a lug nut was cross-threaded on one wheel; it would have to be cut off and replaced. I couldn't have been more grateful I was at a Honda service shop. A non-Honda dealership's collision shop favored by my insurance company had taken the wheels off during body work and then, of course, put them back on. Oops. The car needed tire rotation along with new brake pads and rotor resurfacing. Can't do any of that it you can't get the wheel off. I don't want to think about how another service shop might have handled this. Really. Jonathan and Ryan were friendly, patient, open, and efficient. For a car that needs so little maintenance, I'd rather have the work done by someone who knows this rare, Japanese car well. Go to Jeffrey Honda; you won't be disappointed. Just don't walk up to the only grimy-looking place in the foyer: the parts department window and desk. Wait for an advisor to come to you, or go to the next stop past parts: the advisors' workstations. read more

I took my high mileage honda accord in for service numerous times without problem always working with Gil as the service advisor. When the air conditioning stopped working I made it clear that I did not want to invest a lot of money in a car with such high miles. I paid for a die test and told it was the compressor and given a price. It was on the high end of what I was willing to spend but I wanted ac so I said yes. After they did they work they called and said oh no, actually you need an evaporator and the bill was to be several hundreds more. I protested that I would never have decided to fix the ac at all for well over $1000. After an angry back and forth attitude Jeffrey Honda agreed to fix the car for the parts cost and no service fee (the total still being much more more than the original quote). It was unpleasant, but I was okay with it but then the following happened - (1) after I got my car back the cruise control did not work. I asked Gil to check on it when it was in for something else like an oil change and he said that it was a major repair. Many months later another dealer told me that someone had disconnected the vacuum hose and it was an easy fix [ you may decide if this was retaliatory sabotage based on the evaporator incident for yourself]. (2) Gil told me the car needed its second timing belt change by the interval book (I had already had it done there once) and I asked, well, why do I need to change timing belts. He said it could break. And I asked, well is it an option to just drive it until it breaks and then at that time fix it? He said: "sure, you can do that." And I said what, and then I would just tow it in? And he said, "yep." So, that was the service plan Gil developed for me after my ac repair incident = a disconnected cruise control hose and a plan to drive the car until the timing belt breaks and then tow it it. When the timing belt broke, I had the car towed in to the dealer I lived closest to at the time (I moved - you know, the one that said someone had disconnected by cruise control hose) and they said the car was a total loss, needed a new engine because the timing belt damaged the pistons or valves. I mentioned the discussion with Gil to them and they scoffed. No, that was not good advise they said. I talked to the national Honda customer service number and it was clear that the agent felt that this advice was very seriously bad. He took the information, and asked for Gil's name. And, look! Gil is still there. I revisit this ugly incident now because on my new honda I am changing my timing belt again and never once has anyone ever thought that this issue was anything other than a no-brainer. Thanks Jeffrey Honda. May you enjoy your sabotage karma for years to come. read more

Bought a car from them on Wednesday June 15, 2022, with sticker stating they did a "safety inspection ", got the car home and the next day (24 hours later) the brakes were grinding and the oil light came on at 15 percent. Took it back the next day , June 17th and they refused to do anything, would not change the oil,they finally agreed to put the vehicle on the hoist and diagnose the brakes and it needed brakes and rotors. Makes you wonder if they did something because it was fine on the 2 test drives? 2 managers both stated that they DO NOT DO ANYTHING to the used vehicles they sell. This was a 2007 Honda CRV with a little over 100,000 miles paid $9500.00 I would not recommend buying a used vehicle here, apparently the safety of their cars and customers are of no importance to them. My family has bought used vehicles from Golling and Jim Riehl's Honda both have EXCELLENT customer service. read more

My father had his Honda serviced at this dealership and shipped the car to me in California a day after getting my car the drive pully falls apart.... it got fixed by a dealer here 7 months later it completely falls apart again took it to the dealer here in California they incorrectly in stalled the metal plate that goes behind the harmonic balancer I called the dealership and got the run around for the whole day didn't even get a call back my car had been broke down for a week took them till yesterday to approve the charges to fix my car I had to call this dealer here in Michigan to find out why they couldn't get payment out to the dealer here in California Todd finally did get the payment out to the dealer today so I was able to pick my car up but I was driving 70 down the freeway with 3 small kids in the car when it fell apart almost wrecked my car because when it fell apart it took the belt that ran my power steering and THE alternator with it. And Ryan in the service department should be fired trying to blame the dealership for the payment issue because they won't take a purchase order from this dealer in Michigan with the way they put parts on a car I wouldn't wanna take a purchase order from them either and how I had to wait almost a week to even get my car payed for but I can't say anything really bad about tom or Allen because they did get my car fixed and paid for so I didn't have to wait till after xmas to get my car back so todd if u see this review this isn't a bad review towards you I'm trying to be fair with it. There was a man adjacent in the teller window chatting it up with his buddy talking about sperm and whatnot, never once acknowledged I existed. I went in for an oil change on Thursday (05/03/2018) - when the oil change was done the service manager (?) told me that there was an issue with the plastic shield underneath not holding up, that whoever last did the oil change must not have installed it correctly (SURPRISE IT WAS THIS PLACE THAT DID MY LAST OIL CHANGE). As soon as I pointed this out to him he immediately ignored this and said that basically it had been fixed well enough, and that it was fine to drive. I drove home, no issues. Saturday afternoon I noticed as I drove on a dirt road that I have always driven on with no issues and noticed my car was making a scraping noise on very small bumps, something my car should have no issue handling, as I have done hundreds of times. I check underneath in the parking lot, and the aluminum shield is completely detached. I take it to my father and he notices that the four clips that the shield must slide onto, that wasn't done. There are also 6 fasteners at the front of the metal shield that secure the metal shield to the plastic shield under the radiator. They were ALL MISSING. They then STUFFED the plastic shield above the metal shield so it wouldn't sag down. The metal shield was in turn DRAGGING on the ground. When I called them today the manager of the service department had the audacity to blame me for all of the missing fasteners, that within 24 hours I had somehow driven around and scraped off all of these fasteners and did this damage myself. He then told me that I could bring it in, but held absolutely no accountability for the faulty service I was given. He then sarcastically told me that I could go ahead and buy a new shield at my own expense. When I told him how ridiculous this all ways, he hung up on me. I was told to avoid this place more than once, I don't like being treated like an uninformed idiot. read more

This review is specific to Jeffrey Honda on Gratiot Rd in Roseville, MI. My mom recently purchased a brand new 2009 Honda Accord Coupe from Jeffrey Honda and we were overall extremely satisfied with their service. They have a large selection of cars with various options but they did not have the red accord coupe we wanted and hence we had to substitute it for a black one. (could be a deal breaker for a few) The sales person we talked to was extremely helpful and patient. My mom was very nervous when it came to buying her first brand new car and the guy walked us through each model and the features unique to each car. He also accompanied us on the test drive and was never pushy. What puts these guys above and beyond is the fact that once we picked up the car from the dealership the sales person sat with us in the car and helped my mom set up the in-dash navigation system and bluetooth. My mom is an extremely slow leaner when it comes to 21st century technology and he was extremely patient even though I lost mine a few times lol I wish I could remember his name but all I can tell you that he is a tall, average built Caucasian man. read more

I tried to buy a Pilot about three months ago. I wanted a specific model and , of course being a woman, a specific color. However, getting towards the end of the producton year, the model they had and the color they didn't. I fully expected the salesman to try to sell me the colors they had, even though I didn't want them. He didn't do that at all. Instead, he tried other dealers around Ohio and Michigan to find one, but alas, no luck. I told the salesman "thank you" , I'll wait til the 2012 year models to get my color. Then about a month or so later, he called out of the blue and said he found one about to be made and it was being shipped to Hawaii. He asked if I was still interested. I said absolutely. He re-routed the shipping of that vehicle to me. I now have my color, with everything else, and am thrilled. I'm glad he didn't give up on me. Thanks Nate. read more
