I went there today and this was my 2nd time going there for a check-up…read more I went as a routine visit because I thought something was wrong with my top/bottom left teeth, turns out it was minor and we only need to do a little bit of flossing. The good: The staff was really helpful when booking the appointment. Melinda & Debbie were great! They called my insurance to make sure all was good, they called me several times to give me updates and they even called me to offer me a more convenient time. Kudos to them. The bad: When I asked if the doctor is going to at least do a visual inspection of my teeth she said that she couldn't because we have to get some x-ray done and/or a teeth cleaning. I am no dentist and I understand that getting an x-ray will help to see if we have something "hidden" going on however you don't NEED an x-ray for a 5 minutes visual inspection just to see if there was anything going on that she'd spot. She did not do it and left. I could have had a big open cavity on the right side of my mouth but I don't know and I have to wait for an opening. They did not even offer me a glass of water/mouth wash to rinse the residue of tartar/products in my mouth after the very light cleaning. Honestly I felt completely insignificant, that they really did not want me there and that they only wanted me to come back to charge me more service to my insurance.

While…read morethe facility itself seemed fine, the way I was treated by one of the staff members, who I believe was a doctor was completely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Going to the dentist can already be stressful, and dealing with that kind of behavior just made the experience worse. Instead of explaining things clearly or showing basic courtesy, her tone and attitude were abrupt, rude and disrespectful. To make things worse, I ended up paying $70 but felt so uncomfortable due to their behavior that I had to leave the clinic without completing my visit. I called and checked on 3 other dental offices before choosing this one. My husband and I have horror stories about other dental offices that acted like a car dealership than a medical office. Dr. Dhawan is more involved with her patients than any other dentist I've seen, and she works with you to in terms of insurance and pacing your care that works best for you without compromising your health. I love that she can do everything from cleaning to root canals/implants in one office, and she doesn't gouge her patients. It's so nice to have a doctor that treats you like a person and not a cash cow.

A well-run practice with Stacey Mach as Office Manager and a very professional hygienist in Barb Witherspoon. Fees are reasonable and less than many Dallas dentists I've priced. We have had 4 different insurance plans in our household over the years and they've accepted all of them. Good people. Good dental and cosmetic care (we've had chipped teeth, but no one would know). Highly recommend this team.
