Be aware of changes! When I called to make the appointment for my daughter I specifically asked if they accepted our insurance! Naive of me sent my daughter alone and they charged upfront $440,00 for cleaning and X-rays. I've been waiting for the reimbursed amount from my insurance as I was told I was going to get.... Just came to find out that they were out of network. I feel like being robbed! read more

If you value your kids safety DON'T bring them here. They'll get you to sign the waiver to give them anesthesia, but ultimately won't administer it and will continue hurting the patient. (They still attempted to collect payment from the insurance for it.) Only to get mad at the patient for continuing to let them know that they're in fact in pain. Then threaten to call the police on a parent who is ADVOCATING for the child's safety. Don't bring your kids here!!! read more

Dr Swift is great, but I always have surprises with billing. I first started seeing Dr Swift 2 years ago and asked if my insurance was in network, was told yes! After each visit (routine cleaning/exam was told I owed nothing...but then month or two later get a bill of what insurance didn't pay. I asked why you told me I owe nothing and now wanting more..."we don't call and verify what insurance pays". It's simple cleaning/exam...why would I owe anything!! I once talked to Dr about a month guard and front desk person told me it would cost me $140.00, so I scheduled and fitted for mouth guard. Later picked up mouth guard and was told to pay $140.00. Month or so later was emailed owing $220 with nothing noted on bill. I called and was told insurance didn't cover and needed to pay for full cost $360.00. I asked why you quoted $140.00...her only remark was they don't call to verify. I would not have gotten the mouth guard if had known...how did they quote $140.00? Last visit for cleaning/examination, but Dr Swift was not able to come in for exam (It would have been nice to get call first), instead was told she examined x-rays at later time...she was paid but no exam performed in person! I now received email bill 4 months later saying with no explanation owing $28.50. Called and told me that is balance from previous visit (4 months ago) because I'm out of network...I ASKED THIS BEFORE FIRST INITIAL VISIT!! I'm shocked by the inadequacy of communication with billing and what is really owed!! I have NEVER experienced billing issues of any kind with previous dentist visits! I have chosen another dentist for future visits!! read more

very very disappointed, I still think she is a great dentist. But whoever I was dealing with in her office staff was very rude. Noticed it before my appointment. On my appointment day as well. I was assured there was no problem due to I'm very claustrophobic, and can not take the elevator, that walking up the stairs would not be a problem. Drove 30 minutes, took off work. When I got there no one would unlock the stairway, no one from her office would help, by coming down, and opening the door for me. I left without a cleaning and no longer having a dentist. Let me start by stating that I don't ever write reviews. However today was my fourth visit to DLD to have a cleaning by Jenny and I have been more and more impressed each time than the last. I also had laser whitening done here last year and will again next week. I am no longer calling it the dentist, it it's now the tooth spa. Everyone in this office is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Doctors and hygienists are knowledgeable and honest and use all the latest equipment and technology. Let me start by saying that I typically hate going to the dentist. But I love this place! Dr Reifer is amazing! She is super nice and funny and will put you at ease. I've had a few dental emergencies and they have been able to squeeze me in at the last minute. All of the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I also decided to get my teeth whitened using the method of building a mold of my teeth so I can do it at home. I've already seen great results. I recently decided to get a smile makeover and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Line, Dr. Swift's Dental Assistant, has kept in touch with me throughout the process, just to make sure I was doing well and didn't have any problems with my temporary crowns, etc. Whenever I have needed to go in for a little tweaking on my bite, they've been super accommodating. Time to shift from restaurants to Dentist reviews...oh the joy! As a long, long time customer (along with my wife) of DLD, I must finally take a moment and post the appropriate accolades to this very efficient, professional and extremely comfortable practice. Based on what I recall, have been going here for at least 10 years, and have never, ever, been dissapointed with the professional care and engaging staff. Since I'm a 'regular' in dental cleaning terms, that's at least 20 visits. I usually set my appointments early in the morning (they have a slot as early as 7:30) so I can boogie to work right after, and I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes for not only this, but later appointments. They don't appear to over-book, have a very smooth schedule of how they execute their cleanings, and overall, flow very, very smooothly. The staff (and Dentists, Dr. Swift and Dr. Christian, my current dentist) is all female, for the record. Over the years at this practice, I have endured multiple insurance changes, and I have never had to speak with them twice about billing issues or anything of the sort...it's actually quite surprising just how smooth they are....clearly they hire top notch administrative staff (beyond the skilled hygienists of course) to make this all operate like clock work. On a personal note, one of the protocols for this practice is to measure your blood pressure before each cleaning, and I must say, the second time I was warned about escalating blood pressure (late 2007) sternly I might add, I took it to heart and quite literally turned my life around for my wife, my children and myself. I went on to lose nearly 70 pounds and now share extreme fitness stories with Dr. Christian, a world-class marathoner in her 'free' time. So, whenever people ask me what the tipping point was in my transformation, it always starts here. Enough about that, but this place may have saved my life. Gee, I must be a fan. It's been a full year visiting Dr. S, she is amazing! Her positive attitude triggers all the way down to the receptionist. All the dental hygienists are awesome. I came in a year ago with some mayor dental problems & they made me feel welcome & gave me hope. A year later my smile has improved & they have not changed their positive attitude towards me. I even had a small balance & when it was time to check out they reminded me but didn't make a big deal like other offices do. Very politely they asked me if I wanted to take care of it which I did, I had just forgotten about it. The location is perfect to. Every time they work on you you have a nice view. I love Dr. Swift's office! My hygienist, Liz, is the the BEST. So kind, friendly, genuine, professional, considerate, thorough and amazing at her job. I've been twice for my bi-annual visits and have had awesome experiences both times. The most recent visit, I came in with a lot of staining on my teeth just a few weeks before my wedding. Liz not only remembered from my last appointment that my wedding was soon, but she spent extra time polishing and cleaning my teeth to remove the staining so I felt extra confident. Came here the dentist offered the most cost effective, efficient solution of bonding the tooth vs. replacing and trying to match the tooth color to the others. There is something fishy about this dentist. I recently changed to this dentist because they are in network. The dentist recommended braces for me and my sister even though for years our old dentist said we didn't need them. They tried to get me to buy Invisalign braces - which cost much more than traditional wire braces. When I said no, they kept pushing me into buying it. It doesn't take a genius to see that they are being paid on how many Invisalign's they sell - they have an entire wall dedicated to Invisalign pamphlets and a designated Invisalign rep to help finance them. Other things too: Every time I went I would always have a different hygienist. This means that they probably use student hygienists whereas my old dentist had two full time professional hygienists. The dentist told me they practice "preventative denistry?" It pretty much means having to shell out $$$ for procedures for little things that don't really affect overall teeth health. And no, I'm not complaining because they said my teeth were bad. I've had no cavities for 5 years. For some reason, everyone who works there is a middle aged attractive woman with big breasts. Bottom line is: If you just want to go to a dentist to get your 6-month checkup with no frills, avoid this place. They will try to sell you on procedures and products that frankly, you don't really need. I just noticed something - all the other reviews seem to be around the same time period: October, 2011. They may be putting out fake reviews FYI. read more

Where do I start first? First of all when you first come into the office everyone & I mean everyone greets you with the utmost respect & curtesy. When I met Dr. Swift she was so thrilled to be working on my case that she already had some great ideas on how she wanted to execute getting me the best possible smile imaginable.They gave such great care & dedication in making sure my work was done effectively & efficiently that when I broke one of my temporary teeth (eating banana flavored taffy) they got me in right away to make the repairs. Dr. Swift also sent my permanent teeth back to the lab when it wasn't up to her specifications. My temporary smile looked so good that I almost didn't want to trade it in for the permanent but when I DID I couldn't do anything but cry streams of tears down my face because unlike most people I had never shown my teeth to anyone except close friends & family. The level of work that she did was so impeccable that I now can't even stop smiling. It's an extraordinary transformation from who I once was to who I am today. I am so happy I went to see Dr. Swift as a fourth consultation for my tetracycline stained teeth. The stains lifted to a nice pretty white in about 2 weeks with the at home whitening system I purchased through her office. My regular dentist plus two cosmetic dentists told me that I could not remove the tetracycline stain from my teeth with bleaching because the stain was so bad. One local dentist even tried to sell me on a 'Smile Lift' in addition to 10 veneers on the top. I'm still in shock that this was so easy!! read more
