For As long as I can remember, I always went to the chain haircut places and was rarely satisfied with the haircuts that I've gotten. Moving down to South Carolina, I decided to try the local places and found that this place was rated 5 stars so I decided to try it out. Simply put...for as long as I live here, I will be going to this barber shop. They don't rush your haircut to get to the next person. They take their time and give you the best quality (There were at least 5 barbers there, and I only waited 5-10 minutes). I told them exactly what I wanted, and they did just that. It's surprising how hard that can be in some places. However, if you don't know what you want but give them a vague idea, like the kid next to me did, they do a tremendous job. I'll probably just do that next time. I saw a kid walk with a "Macklemore-style " haircut that you would see famous people have but he only spent $15. Will definitely be coming back, and hope that more people can try out this awesome place. Tl;dr...this place is dope, get a haircut here. read more

Just got a fresh cut today from Tony. This place is awesome! Friendly, inviting, and casual - what most men want in a barber shop. Inexpensive compared to most places in Mt. Pleasant, or anywhere for that matter. The only price competition would be the lower-tier franchises like Great Clips and Sport Clips, but you won't get a neck shave with a straight razor there, and you'll get a lower quality haircut! Literally just arrived after a helluva trip from way north and needed to clean up before an important job interview. Walk-in put your name on a list and bam. This barbershop is the best barbershop in the charleston area . You will always find great service and you really cant beat the prices for the quality you recieve in regards to your haircut and the customer service $15 dollars for a mens haircut, but if your in the military active/reserve it only is $12 , if your 65 its $12 and if your 12 and under its $12. Fantastic place with great people. We stopped in randomly with three people and no appointments and they were able to get us all in pretty much immediately for a hot towel straight razor shave and beard trim for my wedding the next day. I've been living in Mt.Pleasant/Charleston area for about 9 months and after getting my hair butchered numerous times at Sports Clips and Great Clips I decided that it was time that I find a real barber. I found this place off Google and I couldn't have been more impressed. Very prompt and professional service. It might have been the best haircut that I have ever gotten- straight lines and everything. The hot towel and shave were also really nice I'll definitely be coming he from now on. We used to live down the street from Jeff's and could walk there. We first went there because it was convenient but now that we've moved to the other side of town, my son still insists on only going to Jeff's. At this point, he has had his hair cut by everyone in there and it is always perfect. Don't let a crowd deter you from going in, the wait is never too bad and it's worth it!! read more
