He got to my house 2 days later for our agreed appointment on time and when he saw my crack, it was worse than he had anticipated/I had described. He told me not to expect it to be as perfect as most cracks and I know he spent more time on my car than his average fix (he was there over an hour). When finished he was pleasantly surprised and I was also. He kept his charge at $50 and I would have easily paid 2-3 x more. I was super bummed when a rock flew up and hit my windshield last week. I took my car to another shop and they said I would need a new windshield due to the small star crack being "in my field of vision." It was about the size of a quarter on the left side about three inches from the side of the windshield and my car has collision warning in the windshield so a new windshield was about $800.
