He responded quickly via Yelp and scheduled a service call, and based on my description of the problem and the model number, was able to diagnose the likely problem and order the part ahead of time. He sent me a parts invoice electronically and I paid it. He texted several reminders of our appointment and was right on time in the three-hour window specified. Really nice and knowledgeable guy. Pricing was fair. He not only fixed our washer, he answered my burning questions about how our dryer is set up. It was easily found on the internet but who wants to wait a week or more to see if you get the right part? We called around and the places we called referred us to Glenwood Appliance. So off we go.... I happened to bring the broken pump with me, I walked in and was greeted by a smiling young lady who asked what she could do for me. All I did was raise the pump and say I need a new one of these.. before I could tell her what it was, she said I have those over here.... Holy smokes, you kidding me?! I really like it when employees know their stuff! She brought out a small box, cut it open and BINGO! The exact make and model with the same part number even. This small shop had a factory part for a 5 year old front load washer, man what a relief! My machine broke down last night, tonight it will be back in action! The people here are knowledgeable and resourceful as she let me know that the next time I need anything, i should also bring the make and model info, just in case they can cross reference it with a part from another brand!
