I'm really thankful to say that my experience at Skin Refine Medspa has been extremely positive. I felt seen, heard and understood. Most of all I felt safe! I've been going to Skin Refine since January of last year and I absolutely loved my experience so much, I've been returning since and recommending them to my friends! Maryam has been incredible as my provider for fraxel laser, microneedling, and RHA redensity treatments. I've also received diamondglows here. It's a great refresher for your face. Maryam also provided tips on maximizing results and always takes your opinion in her recommendations. Altogether, my face has vastly improved. You can argue the treatments are pricy, but buying packages will get you a discount. I just think that's how the industry works so always get packages if you can. This place has a variety of treatment options, though they don't offer something like subcision, which is a more-involved procedure. But I'll just get that somewhere else and continue to come here for other treatments. Of course, they've recommended fillers and such for me. Rha redensity is like one. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it. Even now when you look at it, you can clearly see two tails embroidered. The stitch work was also very uneven, overall. It was a poor job done in many ways. I did comment about the unevenness of lines, mismatched shapes, and unpleasant darkness at the end of her work. She was able to comfort me by telling me I needed a few days for some healing, exfoliating, etc. I did wait a few days and came back a week later with the same complaints. It was then she advised me to rub Hydrogen Peroxide on my eyebrows until they faded. I left that day doing just as she told... to no avail. Thus, with all that sad, having my eyebrows embroidered at Herbal Mineral had been a very, very, very big disappointment. Cons: Unfortunately the setting on the laser was higher than the recommended strength and I got a burn scar that blistered. On coming back I did some reading about bbl and realized that there needs to be some cooling period after each flash which was not followed which led to my blister. So I feel that they lack experience The receptionist Farah is very rude :( I was nervous to go there and she made the experience worse. Also she's somehow responsible to give the pricing to patients and puts an awful front. I didnt want to deal with this place because I got a feeling they wont care/entertain any concerns given shes who I will have to deal with. She was gentle and caring and that made a huge difference! My eyebrows faded nicely and I am hopeful that I will be able to get my new brows done in a couple of months.
