I was dealing with constant cysts, redness, inflammation, and extremely painful breakouts that would not go away. I was really at a low mentally because of this. For our very first appointment, Cindy was so optimistic and empathetic towards what I was dealing with my skin. She was so gentle on the extreme acne, and asked many questions about my skin care, lifestyle, diet, and gave very knowledgeable tips and advice to help my skin heal. Around month five of coming every four weeks, my skin very noticeably turned to corner. It was no longer as painful to wash my face, and acne would only form once a month, not month round. Now I have just completed my seventh treatment with her and I'm in awe of the transformation. All that's left is some scarring and small acne bumps, which is so much better than before. Ascending the staircase to the front doors of BW, almost feels magical. I was quickly greeted, given a key to my locker, and then the doors of Oz opened! The lighting is just right, and the facilities are spotless. The robe awaiting me in my locker, unfortunately, was a size petite... I'm 6'1" 250 pounds though! I encountered another patron (i think) who reached through an 'employees only' door to find a 4XL sized robe which fit perfectly. Took a 15 minute jacuzzi. After helping myself to some cucumber, water and lemonade, I relaxed/napped in the waiting room for about 10 minutes... Waiting for my name to be whispered. The shiatsu/Swedish massage from Deirdre (sp?) was exquisite! Right pressure. Right amount of engaging conversation. She answered my questions and offered suggestions with just the right amount of empathy. After the 50 minute massage, I returned to the locker room for a session in the sauna, steam room, and took a shower. She gives firm and clear advice on consistency of skincare, which is something I was too lax on. And the new AM/PM routine really started to show results after daily consistent use around month 3. She was very pushy and I didnt feel comfortable continuing anymore since I felt like I wasnt being heard and she said "you cannot start the treatments without committing to facials" despite explaining that I have an actual derm I see regularly.
