I'm not here to bash or talk negatively about this business, but it just to bring awareness that my brows were tattooed unevenly. Only that my right brow was significantly thinner than my left. Other people see the difference between them both . I'm not trying to complicated just honest. My brow are not tense or lifted. The staff was sweet and kind, and Corinna herself was very nice, which is why this review is bittersweet for me. I truly wanted to have a good experience, but unfortunately my results were very disappointing--especially considering the amount I paid. During my first visit, the procedure was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had because there seemed to be a lack of care for my comfort. I was not offered any numbing cream, and I was in significant pain throughout the entire appointment. Before coming here, I already had nice eyebrows done by another professional--I simply wanted a touch-up to make them a little darker and slightly thicker in the middle. Instead, I was charged $700 as though this were my first full brow procedure, despite already having existing work done. I was also charged an additional $100 for "nano" work that was not done deeply enough, and it completely faded away once the scabbing healed. Another major issue was that she shaved parts of my natural eyebrows that should never have been touched. I expected only the small hairs underneath my brow to be cleaned up, but instead more of my natural brow was removed. I carefully followed all aftercare instructions, yet the pain in my eyebrows lasted nearly three weeks. Most importantly, she did not follow the shape I requested. I specifically wanted my brows to remain similar to what I already had--slightly thicker in the middle--not higher, not more pointed, and not thinner. Unfortunately, that is exactly what she changed. I let it go after the first visit, hoping the touch-up would correct things. Sadly, the second visit made everything worse. I returned because the nano strokes had disappeared and my brows still did not look darker--as if I had barely had anything done despite spending so much money. During the touch-up, even more of my right eyebrow was shaved off, making it much thinner and more pointed than it has ever been in my life. I walked out looking like I had overly thin 1990s brows, which was absolutely not what I wanted. Now my right brow is noticeably thinner and more pointed, while my left brow was left thicker and more intact. I am literally walking around with two uneven eyebrows after paying $800 total. This was a very expensive service for me, and I trusted this business with my face. Two years ago, I paid another professional in San Jose much less, and the results were beautiful. I came here expecting the same level of expertise and care, and unfortunately that was not my experience. Again, the staff was kind, and this is difficult to write because everyone was pleasant--but kindness alone does not make up for poor results, pain, and leaving a client with uneven brows after such an expensive service.This version is strong, credible, and more likely to be taken seriously by readers and the business. read more

I got a lash lift here after what felt like hours of searching for a good one in the Bay Area, and I highly recommend this place. I chose it because the results looked noticeably more lifted than other studios, and it did not disappoint. I had a lash lift with point extensions done in Korea about two months ago, and I'd say the quality here is totally comparable. I gotta say, Cherlene saved my eyebrows. It's kind of a long story, but the gist of it is that I had decent brow tattoos once upon a time. Then I decided to try out another brow place. And got them all messed up. Spent a lot of money trying to laser them off. I should have just started with Cherlene, tbh. She was honest with me, showed me that the prior removals didn't lift my brows or get the tattoos between the hairs. She said she could do a pass but I'd have to wait for awhile to allow for healing. Then comes the day that she does my brows. She was able to accommodate the ghosts of the two old brow tattoos and made one that fit my face well without making it look like it was a correction of past errors. She is incredibly meticulous and thorough. I finally love my eyebrows again. She changed my relationship with my face. The lesson of the story is, if you're getting a tattoo on your face, especially one that you and everyone have to look at on the daily, you best find the person who knows what they're doing. Cherlene is a master of her craft! I've done ombré brows with other artists in the past, but it has always faded due to my oily skin. The color would never retain. ​​ Consultation: Let's admit the price for eyebrow microblading in the Bay Area is insane (TOO expensive!). Many places charge over $800 a session, so I was looking for a place that is worth my money. I had microblading done in 2015, but the pigment had faded, so I definitely need a retouch. I found a couple of places and sent them pictures of my brows for consultation. The fact that Cherlene was one of the most attentive artists and gave me great advice encouraged me to book the appointment (combo brows) right away. Wait time: Around 2 months. Procedure: I showed Cherlene some pictures of what I wanted and she got it immediately. It took about 30 minutes for her to make sure the shape and the length of my brows were even and perfect then she started the magic. The result was fantastic and it was exactly what I was looking for. Aftercare: As long as you followed the instructions and used the cream, your brows would scab and heal in about a week. Final thoughts: If you are looking for natural and not dramatic/intense brows, please do consider Cherlene. She has great aesthetic sense and her service is beyond professional.
