I had Cindy for my express manicure and signature pedicure, and she did a great job! Really took her time to paint my nails and was super detail oriented. She also gave great service, moving my things for me and adjusting my pillows when my nails were drying, super appreciated that! This is in response to Ani, thanks a lot for your patience and staying in a calm beside manner on trying to help accommodate me snd for the refund. But unfortunately the process of getting the refund from Mikkel was extremely rude unprofessional and unnecessary! The fact that she threw the money at me and coming in a day before for her to also be off the bat rude and try to be little me saying I was wrong and only handing me $5 is insane ! I am in shock that somone works at the front desk with that attitude. As for you Lani and Lynn I do appreciate the professionalism and kindness after everything that happens that day. They sterilize their instruments, cover their water bowls with plastic to prevent any fungal contamination from customer to customer and most critically care about the safety and quality of service to every customer. I first discovered Loma Spa from a friend 10+ years ago and their services and skills never disappoint every time i come! They have a range of services for facials and pedicure/manicure that start from the basics to the most indulgent. For their facials, I've gotten the custom facial with Annie and the Platinum Hydrafacial with Mikel. Both women are amazing in there friendliness, knowledge, experience and skills as aestheticians. They go above and beyond! My favorite part of their facials is the extensive massages that I'm surprised Loma doesn't offer standalone massage services. Their facials leave my skin feeling soft, hydrated, clean and fresh. Another services I got was the Gua Sha pedicure. What an indulgent treat! It includes; scrub, mask, paraffin, callus removal and the best pedicure massage ever! I'm an infrequent customer due to the distance and their services can be pricey. However, if you sign up for promotions you can score some amazing deals. I will always keep Loma Spa on my list of go to places for an indulgent day of facials and pedicures. Makes me sad to leave this review. I've been a loyal Loma customer since 2015 and I love all the ladies at this place but I've been very disappointed lately. My favorite esthetician Emily got fired even though she was great and I was seeing her for years to do my brows, lip and Brazilian. The new person Nina did my brows two days ago and she gave me cuts on my eye lids. Pics attached. I am absolutely horrified. Came here for a pedicure and really wanted the luxury pedicure ($60) that came with the paraffin wax. About 10min in the power goes out which is not their fault but then I wasn't able to get paraffin and the nail technician Holly said she could give me the deluxe pedicure ($50) instead. Holly was nice and did a good job on the nails. However, I was disappointed in the massage chair. Usually during a pedicure I can enjoy massage chairs but this one had a note saying not to touch the remote which sucked, so I asked Holly and she said she could turn it on for me. It was quite weak though and stopped halfway through and I didn't want to ask her while she was painting my nails to turn it on again and if there are more settings. I don't know why they can't trust the customers to control themselves like all other places I've been to. Since the power was out they didn't have the usual fan to dry the nails and she tried her best and waved around a hand fan back and forth for a while which I hope did it's job. Clearly it didn't though since when I got home my nail got messed up really quickly and badly in that the whole polish was slid off so completely not dry. I called but no one picked up then called the next day again and they said I can come in for touch up. I'm annoyed I have to drive out and back for this and on top of it the lady who patched my nail seemed very annoyed she had to do it too! They also had me sit in the pedicure chair, then I guess another guest came and they moved me over to the manicure area where the nail tech squatted on the floor painting my toe with my shoes on. I thought they would have removed the polish to start over but instead she added a thick new layer on so the bumpiness remained. I went home and only then I noticed she painted my white flip flops too! Pretty irritated with the whole bad experience. Minus one stars for: - crappy massage chair and not allowed to use control - having to come back because nail was not properly dried - poor job in patching up nail - putting 3 red nail polish marks on my shoes! read more

After checking in with the receptionist, Mikel the esthetician walked me to the room in which she was going to perform my facial in. The room is super clean and provides for a nice relaxing environment! She assesses your skin prior to treatment to see what is best for your skin in conjunction with your skincare goals. Mikel walks you through the process of what she will be doing to ensure that you are comfortable. She answers any questions you may have and provides you with exceptional service. My skin feels so rejuvenated after the treatment and overall my body feels relaxed/less tense .. I feel so much of a difference. Pro: good environment, nice colors, good skilled stuff Cons: Better get luck with your stylist Got gel manicure today, which I felt satisfied about, but that's not what I intended to do at the fist place. Even though I could have rated 5 stars with the end result, I'd deduct stars for my stylist Tammy, who seemed in a bad mood and reluctant to clarify with me about color or design questions, and not that professional. I booked with cat eye design. With the heads up, I asked her which color I can choose for cat eye, and she said I could choose any color. I felt confused asking whether different colors would make difference for cat eye, she looked impatient and said cat eye would be the same....? Really? Because I did it before I knew there'd be different choices for later glitters to do cat eye. I tried asking again saying if the cat eye color would make original color look different. The she didn't respond and begin to speak in another language... the recipient lady comes by and helped me ask her. She said darker color would be a good result, then I did ask her if light colors are not recommend, she refused to give advice saying it's your choice.... but I'd like light color base without knowing it'd not be what I thought. After we applied the original color, without applying the glitter layer for cat eye, she began to magnetize my nail and said: " see? It's not showing..." I was shocked because she literally should first apply the cat eye layer then do the magnet thing, which she skipped and told me it didn't work. Later she blamed that I have too short nails so results didn't show....Doesn't look like she knows proficiently about cat eye design. I've booked with Anna who previously work here and she provided me with perfect cat eye design and professional advice. So I know it and told Tammy you need to put that layer first. Then she went to grab that glitter layer choices.(Which she mentioned at the beginning cat eye layer is the same) We tried those layers with no good results, and I decided to keep only 1 finger with cat eye. In the process, she left once suddenly while I was left sitting there not knowing what to do. I feel like she could have give me any heads up. Doesn't matter for the little things, I do admit Tammy has good skills and paid hard work and I like the final result even without cat eye, so I did tip her so in total I spent like $60 for the design. But probably I wouldn't go back for Tammy. read more

I had made a pedicure and wax appointment for Saturday But when I got done with my wax they told me it is a 15 min wait for the pedicure I told them I don't want to wait and I thought I made an appointment for Monday the 18th. Then on Monday the 11th I got a call asking me if I was on my way to the appointment I told them no it's in the 18th. They said well then have to charge for the missed appointment. Which was 100% of the fee. I told them they should have mentioned that when they made the appointment They said they sent an email which turned out to be the wrong address.
