There is also an area with animals to feed. The food to feed the animals is decently priced. My kids really enjoyed that! The store is very clean and had large variety of food to buy. Most of the snacks they have they do not make or grow themselves, but they do roast the nuts. We went during the spring, but they do offer a pumpkin patch experience during Halloween time. I did save the best for last. The store does make their own fudge. It is so good! I am not a big fudge fan, but the quality of this fudge will win anyone over! It's not too sweet and it's just perfect! They offer free samples-they are confident you'll buy! And they are right! I think the only disappointing thing about this place is they don't actually grow their own nuts, but honestly the quality, variety of their products and charm of the whole place makes up for it! I will for sure be coming back to visit for fun! Service 10/10 Food 8.5/10 Overall 8/10

It is located in Valley Center, so be prepared for your trek. I always go with plenty of snacks, food and water. Having celiac means the food tents will not have options for any food restrictions, but maybe if you're lucky you can get a lemonade for $13 or something. Be prepared to shell out exorbitant amounts for any purchases. The pumpkin patch is a great place to get fall pictures, but the prices are wild. The rides are about $5 each for a minute or two. The bounce obstacle course was $5 for three times running through. It was unreasonable. The gift shop sold the cheapest temu crappy toys for $20!! Buy you're own toys at Walmart and bring them with you to keep the kids happy. I can buy junk on my own. The nuts and candy and dried fruits are probably the only thing I am ok with buying. It's about the price of Sprouts or Whole Foods. I'll usually buy my kiddo a treat and steer him away from the insanity of the price tags of the crappy toys and we're good to go. I buy my pumpkins at target though.

They carry such a nice mix of unique specialty items along with everyday groceries, which is something we have always appreciated. That said, prices have become very high compared to nearby options. I recently compared produce prices with Trader Joe's next door, and Trader Joe's was significantly less expensive. More importantly, the last several times I have shopped in Major Market's produce section, I noticed multiple bagged salads, bagged vegetables, and even some refrigerated salad dressings that were well past their expiration dates. We have also purchased their fresh garlic croutons from the front of the store for many, many years. Recently, though, the crouton pieces were cut very long rather than into normal bite-sized pieces. These were not crostinis; they were the actual croutons. The pieces were awkward to eat and, in my opinion, could even be a choking hazard because they are not cut into manageable bite-sized pieces. I'm not sure what is going on, but shoppers should be very careful and check expiration dates closely before purchasing items from the produce/refrigerated section. I also hope the crouton issue is addressed, because Major Market has been a beloved store for our family for many years.

Please keep in mind that the bags here are $0.20 here instead of the typical $0.10. Regarding the hot food, if you are a burrito fan definitely check out their pre-made carnitas burrito for $9.99. It is excellent and their salsa is really good. They had caldo de res too, which looked amazing but I haven't had a chance to try out yet. Their fried rice was tasty. The produce was plentiful and looked really fresh. The floral section was OK - better at Vons. We'll be coming back soon.

Our server was very friendly and explained a few menu items for us as he dropped off our water. We ordered: The Smashed Cucumber Salad, Eggdrop Soup, Pork and Scallion dumplings, and Kung Pao chicken. First out the cucumber salad. It was so good, I could have eaten my own weight in it. It was amazing. The egg drop soup my husband ordered, he said was very delicious, but as I personally dislike egg drop soup, so I'm taking his word for it. The pork and scallion dumplings and kung pao chicken were so good! I can highly recommend these dishes. We loved the food so much we revisited today (4/26/26). We ordered the hot & sour soup, dan-dan noodles, and the 3 delight fried rice. Once again everything was amazing! The Dan Dan noodles were the best I've ever had! The dining room is a bit lackluster and plain, but I'm willing to overlook that since the food was amazing. I will be visiting Dumplings N More again and often! If you love really excellent Chinese cuisine, this place is definitely worth a try!!!
