JEM Remodel was recommended to my wife and I by one of my good friend who had his home renovated by JEM. So I reached out to Jeanine (owner) via text to get a quote for my kitchen renovation. She was very responsive and came to my home a few days later. The quote was very competitive with the other quotes we had already received. Unfortunately, life happened and we didn't end up getting our kitchen done. This was pre-Covid In February 2023, (3+ years later), I reached out to Jeanine via email to see if she can give me another quote. She remembered my wife and I and kept record of the original quote. She quickly got back to me with the new quote. Due to the current market, I expected the quote to be significantly higher. Thankfully, the quote was a lot lower than what we expected. She adjusted her quote to adjust to the current market cost but didn't try to overcharge. So we immediately agreed to go with JEM Remodel to do our kitchen renovation. The process took about 6 weeks to complete. It started in the beginning of March and ended mid April. From the demo to final inspection, the process was smooth. Jeanine kept us in the loop the entire time. If we had any issues or concerns, Jeanine would address them immediately. Her team was pleasant and easy to work with. Bought a 1500 square foot home, and was a 1966 time capsule from the floor to the ceiling. Had Janine and her JEM team come in and totally revamp it, in just 3 months! When Jeanine was recommended for our bathroom remodel from several of our neighbors, I was excited to have a woman contractor give us a bid. I've dealt with plenty of contractors who give me a completion date, only to surpass that date by weeks and sometimes months. They were all men who, if I'm being completely honest, are not good listeners when it comes to speaking with a woman about construction. Wanted to add that Jeanine and her crew did a major remodel on my home a year to 2 years ago. I have 3 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, new tile downstairs, all popcorn removed, and garage redone with paint and shelving. I experienced a few headaches along the way, mainly with getting my vanity delivered, and JEM offered to pick up the item for me-- all the way in Apple Valley!! It was a huge relief that they were able to do this for me. Throughout the remodel process, her workers would ask for me to look at their work to get my opinion and seal of approval. I loved that! I could tell they were eager to please. After everything was completed, I noticed a few tiles had some marks or chips, and they had no qualms about replacing them. After we had a contractor ghost us we had to find a new one, and was not looking forward to it. But I found Jem and I am so glad I did! Jeanine is awesome. Everyone that works with her have been fantastic. Very respectful of the property and us. We started with a refresh of our primary en-suite bathroom, that went extremely well (the bathroom came out beautifully), so we had her do our downstairs bathroom, kitchen, new flooring on the first floor and currently they are working on our upstairs bathroom. Everything has turned out better than we had hoped and working with Jeanine and her guys has been super easy. Anytime something hasn't turned out well or some problems arose (like having to replace cast iron pipes in the bathrooms) you just send her a text and she's on top of it, you don't have to worry.
