We had been wanting to remodel our dual fireplaces using a natural stacked stone material for quite some time so after obtaining several bids we decided to go with D2A Construction. Demolition went as planned but unfortunately we ran into a bit of a hiccup and discovered we had a water leak inside the wall next to the fireplace. Dani made this issue seem seamless for us and called out a qualified Plummer right away to resolve and fix a leaky pipe. Once the issue was fixed the fireplace remodel was quickly back on track and was completed like clockwork. The crew was punctual and they always cleaned up their work areas well at the end of each day. Sabina was also fantastic in letting us know the crew's arrival time and even with the delay we experienced she was able to get our project back on track. We wanted to remodel a jack and jill bathroom in August, 2025, and got bids from 5 contractors to do the job. Four of the five bidders recommended a custom tile shower, and D2A was the lowest bidder among those four. But they recommended and completed additions that made the bathroom come out much better than we had envisioned. They installed 2 pocket doors, 90 degrees apart. This really opened up the space, but was difficult to do. They were clever in being able to keep the existing large tile floor. Mid-project, a couple of items weren't coming out exactly like we had thought. They insisted on doing them over to make it right. In sum, we ended up with an excellent final project- both in terms of design and quality of workmanship- and a very competitive price. read more

I do not recommend D2A Construction Inc. There was no onsite supervision of the work crews and some of the workers performed substandard work. In addition, the city building dept. advised me that the kitchen window that the general contractor had installed was not included on the permit application for the project so I had to subsequently file a permit application for it. read more

Earlier this year I was looking for a general contractor to help me get my condo to match the vision in my head. I desperately needed a wall extension, some drywall work, fireplace updates, and a lot of electrical updates. I'm very glad I found D2A; Dani knew exactly what I was looking to do, and had some great ideas for improvement. The crew was professional, courteous, and very accommodating of my schedule. The drywall finishing work and paint was meticulous, and blended in perfectly with some previous work I had completed. Some contractors may get the work done but will leave you wondering on progress, or may not be readily available for questions. We had a leak under our sink the resulted in nightmare insurance phone calls and quotes from many different construction companies.
