We needed a move out cleaning for a one bedroom l, one bath apartment. Maria and Silvio were very responsive and even let me switch my appointment time. They did AMAZING with the kitchen and especially the stove, that old thing could not have come out cleaner!! The staff who showed up were incredibly nice and started right away, took about an hour. The reason for 4 stars is that every other room looked only basically dusted. They didn't clean the walls or baseboards, the floor still had marks, and somehow the blinds were detached and left on the floor with a pile of dust under them. The entire apartment was empty and there was nothing really in the way, so I'm not sure why spots were missed. Overall, I loved the people who helped me, but the service left something to be desired. read more

I used Jem's Cleaning service for 3 times and the last time they cleaned I was missing some items. When I called them to ask they told me they would check with their team. I found my items and apologized greatly and their response was basically go to hell. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! They are not friendly and make you sign a contract like they are business like but treat their customers badly. If you are a cleaning person then it's expected an item might be displaced. The ladies were nice enough and timely in the beginning. After the second or third cleaning, we noticed some areas that were missed. I think some sheets were put on backwards, but that's OK. We just brought it to their attention. I started a full-time job and could not go back through and do housework on my own last year. Halfway through the year, I looked behind my couch and it was filthy with dog hair and dust. I brought it to their attention and was told that they don't move heavy objects. There is a foot space in back of my couch. I also looked under beds that had a similar issue. Although, they stated that they did not move heavy objects, a vacuum hose and head could get these places. There was also dust on top of my refrigerator. We have a house with three kids and a dog but we try to be reasonable. I try to clean before they come. Recently, they cancelled on us. That happens. The following week they switched days last minute. My house was left open and we were at work. This happened once before. I asked if they please would tell us with enough advance notice in the future. Our service then declined. So they switched days on us, and I happened to be home. I noticed the one woman banging into my furniture with the vacuum. On several occasions, food was stacked up in the kitchen, and I found that it molded. Unfortunately, I have Lyme disease, so we just can't have that. I did bring this to their attention, but It seemed like this group did not like criticism. I would usually pay via Venmo, and admittedly wait until the day before, so that they wouldn't cancel last minute. They asked if I could pay via check and I agreed. But when I mentioned a couple of things that I needed paid close attention to, they just quit the day before they were supposed to come. Overall, the women were trustworthy in my house, but unfortunately, I feel like I wasn't getting what I paid for with cleaning. I do not think that they like constructive criticism either. read more

I received a response with a detailed quote soon after and the cleaning team (two people) arrived promptly, were very professional, wore masks the whole time and were very thorough -- they cleaned blinds, light fixtures, the fridge, the oven, etc. It took them about 5 hours to clean and the house looks great!
