Hearing him teach and coach Chloe during my appointment was such a nice experience and really showed how much the team values quality, education, and helping their stylists grow. I had to bring my son with me, and everyone was so accommodating and welcoming. I was nervous because it had been a very long time since I'd had a haircut, but Chloe & Matthew answered all of my questions and made me feel completely at ease. I was so happy with my haircut that I booked another appointment before I left. I'm already looking forward to coming back!

I just didn't want to deal with trying to shave because once you get a big , pregnant belly, it's nearly impossible. IYKYK. It was my first time ever getting waxed , and a Brazilian nonetheless. I know your body and skin is super sensitive in pregnancy so I was so super worried about the pain of the wax. But Marri was so kind , welcoming, reassuring, fun, easy to talk to. I felt like I've known her for years!!! I don't think many people can say they look forward to getting waxed, but I always do because Marri is such a gem of a human. I'm so grateful to know her. Yes, it does hurt, but she's lightening fast. And she will talk to you about any and everything to keep your mind occupied, it's like a built in therapy session too!!! (Or she also does "quiet sessions" too if you prefer not to talk!!!). I truly wouldn't want to go to anyone else and I always recommend her to everyone I know !!!! Her stellar reviews speak for themselves!!! If you're in the market for a new wax queen or want to try for your first time, go see Marri, you'll be glad you did !!!

She even spent time to propose a detailed schedule to accommodate the limited availability of the hair stylist I chose. Her sweet, positive demeanor made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed during the hectic morning we had to get ready for the wedding. She took a print-out of notes from my makeup trial and referred to them to ensure that every detail we had discussed was incorporated. The makeup looked incredible and lasted throughout the night. Not only was she incredible and made every single lady in my bridal party (and mothers of the bride and groom) feel so beautiful, she also brought such a beautifully calm energy to the wedding morning. It was one of my favorite decisions I made throughout my wedding planning processs to book with Jacque - I truly can't recommend her services enough!

Jacque was recommended to me for my wedding hair and makeup by a friend, but is now who I got to to…read moreget my hair done. There are a million reasons why Jacque deserves 5 stars, but I'll give you my top 3. 1. When I first met Jacque I was very unhappy with the color of my hair. I explained why I was unhappy, what I was afraid of because of past experiences (turning my hair blonde) and what I wanted. She took the time to explain in detail how she was going to fix my hair and get it back to the color I wanted. Her explanation made me feel so comfortable that I trusted the process even though it involved adding some blonde. When she was done, I was speechless with how great it turned out. Which is amazing, but what's even better, is she went and wrote down exactly what she did so my hair turns out the same color every single time I see her. I have never had another stylist in my entire life who has managed to keep my hair color the same more than 3 times. 2. I knew what I wanted my bridal hair to look like before I even knew what kind of dress I wanted. An up-do that I could be taken down for the reception. When I went in for trial, Jacque made my hair look exactly how I imaged and provided the tips I needed to take it down later as a practice run for the day of. My mind was set that this was how my hair was going to be, and then I watched an episode of Love is Blind that completely changed my mind. I called Jacque two weeks before my wedding telling her I was torn, she recommended another trail. She squeezed me in and I am so grateful she did, because the Love is Blind hair is what I ended up going with and I couldn't have been happier with it. The last thing I will say about the trial is that people tend to struggle with a foundation color for me because of my freckles, but not Jacque. She got it right on the first try! 3. The wedding day was flawless. Jacque brought two other stylists to help her and everything ran like clockwork and everyone look gorgeous! Not only that, but she made me a custom lipstick of the big day. A color made just for me! She also had lipsticks my wedding party could purchase day of. I've been a bridesmaid 10 times, and the lipstick is the first part of the makeup to go with out any options to reapply unless you bring your own (which I never remembered). This is just one example of how she goes above and beyond. If you are looking for someone to do your wedding hair and makeup or just a new hair stylist in general, look no more. Jacque is professional, kind, fun, consistent, and amazing at what she does!

When I booked my mom's blowout, I specifically explained that she has soft, textured hair and was reassured that Yolanda Lusnia was experienced with all hair types. Based on that conversation, we felt confident moving forward with the appointment. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations. When we first walked into Rock Paper Scissors, the initial expressions and reaction from Yolanda Lusnia and Bree Pickens immediately made my mom and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We arrived excited and trusting that my mom would be taken care of, but the first impression left us feeling out of place. During the appointment, I noticed a lack of warmth, communication, and attention to detail that you would expect from a professional salon experience. At the shampoo bowl, Yolanda did not adjust my mom's chair, speak with her, or ask basic comfort questions such as whether the water temperature was comfortable or if she preferred it warmer or cooler. Those small gestures are part of making a client feel cared for, and their absence was noticeable. About 10 minutes into the appointment, Bree did come over and kindly asked if I wanted to sit in the same room as my mom. I appreciated that gesture. However, when Bree walked me back, Yolanda said she was going to ask me the same thing. After the initial interaction, the change in tone felt uncomfortable and confusing. While my mom was at the shampoo bowl, I overheard that there was no way her hair could be blown out without straightening it. I clarified that we had booked a blowout, not a straightening service. After the service was completed, her hair was still very frizzy and did not look like a finished blowout. When I politely expressed my concerns about the result, Yolanda raised her voice and said, "I'm not used to doing this type of hair." That comment was extremely disappointing and made my mom feel singled out because of her natural hair texture. My mom has had successful blowouts at other salons, and the issue was not only the final result. It was the overall experience and the way she felt as a client. I reached out to Katie Enfield privately because I wanted to resolve this respectfully before posting publicly. While I appreciated receiving a response, I did not feel my concerns were fully acknowledged. Every client deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and cared for when they walk into a salon.
