Two years and 40 trips plus almost $4,000 is what I had to go through. This bridge that I paid for and wore for 30 months is in pieces. I was told, after I sent them this picture of the broken bridge in pieces, that the lab can repair it, repair?? And also they said it was three years old. Although it wasn't yet three years old I guess they don't expect dentures to last more than three years. It would cost me anywhere from $900 to $1700. 00. I also had the top two teeth separate from the base. The office told me it would coat $175. Per tooth plus the cost of the visit. I would expect the dental practice would stand by the patient and make the lab accountable. And no, I was told, I cannot see Dr. Dorciak. I can come to the office for a fitting. I refuse to give Dr. Dorciak's practice another penny and many more months of my time to have the bridge repaired. I went to another practice. Within two weeks and two trips my bottom bridge was made. They fit perfectly. I went one time had the impression taken and one time to pick the bridge up. Dr. Conrad is self-centered and does not want to "waste too much time with her patients", those were her exact words. She wasted too much time on me, according to her. It's not like this was a free service, she was paid for her time, depleted my available insurance coverage, and left me hanging for an upcoming important event with missing teeth. I was shown a partial replacement and then given something else instead that did not fit properly in my mouth, but according to her it was perfect! I was gagging the whole time in her office and all she said was "you will get used to it, give it some time". It upset me so much of how inconsiderate she was to my needs.

Embarrassing watching them fumble for tools. So disorganized, HOWEVER, I scheduled a follow up cleaning the next week. Boy, that a tragic mistake. Set my appt for 3:30pm (so difficult for me to get time off to visit them, but they were down the street and in network, so scheduled). Walk in at 3;30pm (greeted by the sweetest receptionist) and then sat in the waiting room and twenty minutes after my appt time, ushered back into the x-ray room. Should have walked out at that point, as the radiologist tech seemed like this was her first day. Actually messed up some of my x-rays, causing additional radiation to be shot into my head because she messed up. She also kept trying to push teeth whitening with trays or bleaching. Of course, at a substantial cost. Declined, next. Finally got into the chair and the dentist came out to do a comprehensive exam on me. Of course, found problems that he had solutions for with a "treatment plan", which basically is paperwork with prices on them. Told him to hold off for now as I just needed to absorb the prices of the crown for last week. Next came Oscar, the hygienist. Told him I was there for a cleaning. Pokes and prods in my mouth, then disappears and comes back with a sheet of paper, again, for my "treatment plan". AT $750!!. Dude, I'm here for my cleaning, which should be paid by my insurance. "Well, I don't know how much your insurance will pay for this". I feel you probably should know how much my insurance is paying towards this. You asked me for my dental insurance cars at the intake. Why don't you know??? He also kept referring to the fact is was after 5:00pm and I was lucky he was still there? Ended up removing my bib and walking out. What a complete insult to me and a complete waste of two hours of my time. Office is in a min-mall next to a Harbor Freight and looks like it hasn't had any type of remodel in the last 10 years. Ceiling tiles loose and coming apart. Smell of desperation throughout the office. Avoid this office like the Black Plague or the Spanish Flu. I get a sense of, "Let's see what we can soak this client for". Treatment Plan equals "upsells"

She talked me through everything she was doing before she did it, checked in on me throughout my appointment, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Her calm, reassuring personality helped ease my anxiety more than I can put into words. Dr.G I have never met any dentist like her she took her time to listen to my concerns and my wishes. And she come up with the best solution for me and gave me options. It's rare to find a dental office where every single person makes you feel at ease, but this team truly does. Dr. Scott had her own practice in Port Charlotte but sold it and was about to retire when Dr. Kaufman asked if she might help out once or twice a week. If you should get Dr. Scott do not worry. I just had a local for the procedure and once my mouth was numb, Dr. Scott extracted the cracked tooth in under a minute and then completed a suture and I was ready to go. Of course, I was placed on an antibiotic as Dr. Scott determined I had a slight infection. It has been five days and the gum area has healed up and I feel fine. Should you find you too have Dr. Scott. don't worry as you are in good hands. Plus Dr. Scott is very personable and has a good sense of humor.

It turns out, the dental office don't actually submit the work to your insurance company before hand, unless you specifically request it. Turns out my insurance compony denied it and wouldn't cover any of it, so I'm on the hook for another $1500.00. Why do they draw up the plan and costs and have you sign paperwork, without actually seeing what your true cost is. This has never happened to me in 57 years of going to a dentist, I truly feel scammed with Krause. I will no longer be going there.

My experience with Dr. Krause has been nothing short of a…read morenightmare.   They make appointments when they get paid quickly but when it's a correction of what they did wrong, you experience a lengthy delay if not being completely avoided.   I was called in and made to wait for hours in the waiting room.  They performed a quick evaluation and told me I needed to come back in 3 weeks as that was the first available appointment and that they had other patients waiting for service outside.   The scheduler Julie originally made this appointment for me under the assurance that Dr. Krause would fix my painful issue but when I showed up, they said it was a mere consultation. Why did you ever schedule me when you have other more important patients waiting for you to charge while you've already collected from me and ruined my entire mouth? You made me take time off work and then have the audacity to ask me to return in three weeks after making me wait 90 minutes outside?   Treatments are rushed and careless. Instead of fixing my dental issues, this dentist made them worse; much worse. I left their office crying in front of five other patients waiting in the lobby because both sides of my mouth went untreated while I was in excruciating pain and experiencing bleeding gums. All they had to do was comfort me and say "We apologize but we don't have enough time today to treat you but we will give you the first available appointment and take care of you."   A simple procedure turned into a disaster, leading to several complications and eventually two root canals (and two crowns) that could have been avoided. This cost me over $4,000. Half my mouth is in worse shape than when I first walked into their office. I have had to seek help from another dentist and an orthodontist just to undo Dr. Krause's damage. Actually,  I take that back. There is no undo. All the other dentist(s) could do was finish the work Dr. Krause abandoned.   Save yourself the pain, frustration, anguish, embarrassment and expense; go somewhere else. I would never recommend Dr. Krause to anyone. What a shame/sham!
