If you see a long line, it goes fast and worth it! Use your patience and stay. I tried their gooey butter cake ice cream and I probably could eat a whole pint or two by myself it was so delicious! It is right inside but you go through the line fast and they take your order quickly, but not to feel rushed. This is a busy place later in the day! After noting the traffic patterns on walks through the market, I decided to visit a little after their opening on a Saturday at 9am. I knew about Jeni's ice cream's quality and prices since we have some locations in the Chicagoland area. The people complaining about the prices should probably find a cheaper alternative. Like Ben and Jerry's, there will always be customers so prices are not going to decrease. With that said, this location in the North Market is a great option for dessert. There are limited seats/tables right by the shop. If not you can find some upstairs. Customer service was great, employees were very helpful with samples and moving the line along. We sampled merry berry, boozy eggnog, and white chocolate peppermint. I like the white chocolate peppermint the most but the other two flavors are also good. Jeni's has multiple locations and so I didn't really care to go out of my way to try it, but we had 3 people and decided to do the ice cream flight, allowing you to try a variety of different flavors pre-determined. For $21 you get 10 scoops of different flavors which is a lot of ice cream but we were super satisfied. I particularly love the gooey butter cake and the salted peanut butter flavors but all of them are fairly solid. I guess I was wearing my invisible clothes today. My husband, daughter, and I were waiting in line behind two ladies who were placing their order with one of the employees. The other employee looked at us several times while we were waiting. I didn't think anything of it because I thought maybe they were working on another task and we didn't mind waiting while the other customers placed their order. We couldn't have been standing there more than five minutes. Another customer walked up next to us and the employee who I thought was working on another task greeted her and took her order right away. My husband and I just stood there, flabbers gasted. The employee looked right at us and didn't acknowledge us at all. When the other employee was done helping the other ladies she came over and took our order. I ordered a bubblegum cone for my daughter because it's not her fault this place has rude employees but I didn't want to give them any more of my money. I ordered baklava down at Firdous instead. They were courteous. I grew up in Columbus but moved away after Jeni's got popular and I wanted to try it while I was back in town.
