They're advertisement are dishonest! 2 Saturdays ago I received in the mail from Crystal Ford an advertisement from the store located at 2440 NW US19 Crystal River, FL 34428 the advertisement showed a breakdown of the used car from Kelley Blue Book value as lowest $12,664 as highest $15,003 The $12,664 was based on the car being "Rough condition trade-in". Now my vehicle is not in rough condition. Actually my car is in average condition, and they value an average at $14,142 as shown on there mail-in advertisement. So I decided to go the dealership to see if I can trade my 2012 Nissan Armanda for a smaller and newer vehicle. When I arrived I was greeted by a salesman and immediately, I show the person the mail-in asking if this was the place, and the salesman confirmed that I was at the right place. The salesman invited me to his office. He then started to qualified me as a buyer by asking questions. The first question I was asked he asked if I was here for the special financing program? Without knowing if I was credit worthy, I had replied no. I told him that I currently financing my vehicle through Suncoast Credit Union and I still owe on the loan. That I was looking to downsize because I was looking for an economical on gas, a mid size SUV. Shortly, another person came into the office and said that he wanted to appraise my vehicle. He said that he can put me in a newer vehicle, and lowered my payments. I told him that sounds great! The first salesman ask me what ere my payments and about how much I owed on the Nissan Armanda? I told him my payments were $279.96 and the payoff was approximately $13,431.37. The manager who was going to appraise my vehicle told the salesman to show me the 2016 Toyota Highlander we took it out for a drive. When we returned the salesman ask me if he can earn my business today if we can make a deal? I said yes as long as I get the $13K for my trade and my payments are lowered. The salesman took me to his office, told me he will be back an after awhile he came with a paper. The paper had my vehicle trade value, which he covered. And started to show me 3 columns with money down, term of financing and payments. One columns was $10k down 60 months @ $399 payments. He never told me what was the asking price on the used 2016 Toyota Highlander. As his hand moved away, they value my 2012 Nissan Armanda at $5,700. I told the salesman to give me my driver license and keys. He asked if there was something wrong! I told him we are way off on my trade, and I was leaving. As I left his office another salesman approached me and said that my vehicle had too many miles. This information they already had over an hour ago. I told them according to the "Drive safety trending articles average rates of miles driven per year: Florida 11,836 miles. I am a Vietnam Wounded Veteran, disable and educated. In the last 4 years I have financed 3 vehicles with Suncoast Credit Union. When I came into their dealership as a potential customer, I was under the assumption that Crystal Ford respectfully honor there advertisements. I feel Crystal Ford were dishonest and did the treat me with respect. People should not be treated as such by any car dealership. These Crystal Ford mail-in advertisement is a cheap way to lure consumer to the there dealership! Folks I hope this is an eye opener, let's not be too naive. Shop around before you commit to a deal.

We have been here twice for our 2016 mix black label. Both times they didn't fix it. I can't recommend this location.

I was greeted professionally and ASKED what I was looking for. I told Tim my expectations and he proceeded with no hassle to show me examples of what we had asked for. When my wife and I narrowed our choices, he went to the stored inventory and drove up in EXACTLY what we had asked for and met out price request. 1 1/4 hours later we drove home in our new car. These people are what a car dealership should be. I HIGHLY recommend them in every respect.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE LESSON OF A LIFETIME! DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED TO BUY FROM HERE! I would leave…read morenegative stars if I could! The day after I purchased a 2016 GMC Yukon (which was just on May 21st 2026) from here which was purchased for over $16000, the engine started throwing a trouble code for the 7th cylinder misfiring with an additional code being thrown for the knock sensor which is far less serious an issue but an issue nonetheless and the vehicle is now completely inoperable and can't even be driven. The whole engine now has to be torn down (and possibly be completly rebuilt due to damage from unknowingly driving it as it was when it was sold to me) for which parts alone will cost a couple thousand dollars and that doesn't include any labor costs, that's just the cost if I were to do the work myself and that's only if it doesn't need to be completely rebuilt due to any additional unseen damage done to the engine from having unknowingly driven it as it was. If a complete rebuild is necessary, it will cost me between an estimated $5600 and $6300, not including any other repairs or parts, fluids that will have to be replaced etc, but just to do the rebuild of the engine itself. So, I was sold a vehicle and had it for less than 24 hours when the code was thrown for the cylinder 7 misfire (which undoubtedly had been cleared from the system to avoid questions about the engine light being on because it wasn't on when it was test driven and sold to me) that so far has cost me the $2000 down payment, only to end up stuck in huge debt with a loan I now have to pay for monthly for an unusable vehicle that was portrayed to be solid and reliable just so this place could make a sale with zero regards to the consumer or the costs that I now have to figure out how to come up with on top of a $600+ a month payment I can't get out of for something I can't even use. I could have rented a car for far less than what my down payment cost me and for far less than what this giant paperweight will end up costing me just to make useable at all. This is by far the biggest and most expensive, useless paperweight I have had the displeasure of owning and being forced to pay for. All of this could have been avoided had this place actually been honest about what I was being sold and I could've made the decision whether or not to purchase it with actual facts with its issues and not some fabricated inaccurate garbage I was actually sold. Immoral practices at best 100%. When Roger (our salesman) was called about the situation and he called back about it he said that he had spoken to management about everything and that he was told that they werent going to do anything about it and that they wouldn't even look at it so I shouldn't bother bringing it or towing it to them because they weren't going to do anything about it anyway. I can only attribute that response to the fact that they already knew what the repairs would entail and how expensive it would be in order to fix those issues and they wanted nothing to do with it since the sale had already been made and it was no longer their problem and didn't affect them to respond as they did. There's no way it just started misfiringlike it did less than 24 hours after being in my possession and they didn't know about it. The first payment hasn't even been made on it and isn't even due yet and and here we are. This so called reliable SUV will cost me over $32k when all is said and done after 40 months of payments on it and it can't even be driven and thousands more to make is usable at all. The fact that they basically stole $2000 from me that I put down as a down payment on this giant useless paperweight of a vehicle is immoral at best and the fact that they expect me to pay that kind of money for a vehicle that I can't even drive that they undoubtedly knew had engine issues to begin with shouldnt even be legal for them to do to anyone. To say that I am beyond livid and incredibly disappointed with this entire experience right now is a gross understatement! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE CON ARTISTS TO ANYONE EVER and if you value your hard earned dollars and want a vehicle that you can actually drive you'll steer clear of this place as well and buy from anywhere else. My most accurate description of this place currently is that they're a bunch of deceitful, theiving con artists that couldn't care less about the consumer. They clearly have no problem selling customers whatever garbage they can make a dollar off of at best. Because honestly what kind of people do that to anyone, especially in this economy when we're all just trying to survive?? I now have no vehicle at all to get to and from anywhere thanks to this and no money to get another after the down payment was spent on this useless junk I was sold. It's highly unappreciated to say the least to be lied to and sold useless trash just to make a $.
