The owner offered an apology and had a conversation with the therapist about the incident she stated. No refund was ever given and all communication ceased. I emailed the business after my appointment and was told a refund would be issued, however, the opposite occurred.... I was disappointed with how my concerns were handled after my visit. I reported that I felt uncomfortable during the massage, but instead of acknowledging my experience, the response focused on the fact that I completed the session and left a tip, implying that my concerns were less valid. Many people do not feel comfortable speaking up in the moment, especially during a vulnerable situation like a massage. What was even more disappointing was being offered only a partial refund of $47.50 and being asked to remove my review in exchange for receiving it. Rather than addressing my concerns and taking responsibility for my experience, it felt like the business was trying to make the review disappear. I believe customer feedback should be taken seriously, especially when it involves a client feeling uncomfortable during a service.
