I had met Chelsea briefly once before when I came into the shop one time. She gave me her card and said she would be happy to have a new client. I made an appointment 1/31/23 and went in to get my waist length hair cut & styled. I had to wait a couple of weeks to get in as she doesn't work weekends and after 4pm is challenging to get an appointment. When I got there on time she was running 30+ minutes late. No worries I waited it happens. I brought in pictures of what I might want. I decided after talking to go back to the heavily layered/feathered look I had previously. Just below my shoulders. (Which it is not) My bad.... I should have had her take more off then and there. Since it was our first interaction I gave her grace and figrued I would fix it myself and see what I thought. Again my bad..upon looking at it after she took pictures I was not happy with it. Entirely to long, looked all chopped up and uneven. But ....She told me if it was to long or if I needed it adjusted to just give her a call and she would fix it. So I figured I would work with it and see then have it recut if it didn't work for me. I called her the beginning of the next week to come and have it shortened and layered more. She was either not in or already gone the couple of times I called that week. I tried again week 2 and left a message asking her to call me. She never did. Finally I sent her a text as a last resort to see about getting back in. Monday 2/13/23. She replied telling me how crazy busy she had been and she would work me in at 12:30 on Wednesday. I work 8 -4 MF and I replied as such. I could be in anytime and day after 4:15. And I would be off all day Monday 2/20/23. No response. Thursday 2/15/23 I sent another text saying thank you anyway Have a good day. She responded at 8:45 pm are you still off Monday. I replied yes... crickets again. I waited a couple of more days 2/18/23 and texted her ... I m moving on now but thank you for the time you spent. No response what so ever. This is absolutely NO WAY to operate a business and very unprofessional. I would NOT a recommend Chelsea as a hairdresser in any way shape or form.

She always has her hair done. Nice, she's always dresses nice and has her makeup on. That's what I looked at. When it got to the point that I began dreading my appointments because I never knew what kind of mood she'd be in or what she'd be complaining about - her health, family, roommates - I realized it was time to make a change. I've done the usual prowling of Pinterest among other media sites to see if any style reflected my hair type, my face shape, and my overall appearance. Mind boggling. So I set my sights on finding a salon and stylist to help me. Thank goodness for reviews on Yelp! Andrea did the impossible. 8" or more shorter, scissor cut dry to see how my hair changed, and voila! Not only a stylish cut and look, but it's one I can maintain easily at home (tested by pool and later shampoo). I'm getting compliments from everyone. Trust yourself to their care as I watched as other patrons of the shop receive equally great cuts.

Things…read morehappen, I've had appointments run over and been late to the next, so I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt. I waited that long, why not give it a go? Stylist was pretty quiet and not interested in making even a little small talk, so the entire encounter was awkward. We discussed a long bob with a little light layering. I ended up with something similar to The Rachel which has some pretty heavy layers, not mention 15 years out of style.
