This place seems like it's nice, and the massage really was but the lady cut my big toe and did not even apologize. She put superglue on it and kept painting and it looks so crusty and gross! She didn't even say sorry and I didn't feel comfortable complaining. The man checking us out was so abrupt bordering on rude so I couldn't say anything to him either! Very awkward. There were two barking dogs, no samples of the colors available and ALOT of speaking in another language. Which I usually expect but, other than "relax", hardly a word was said to me. I never leave reviews... But after seeing some of these, I had to tell everyone how great my experience has ALWAYS been. I have been going to Jenny Nails for 8 years, before the current owners picked it up. I don't remember exactly when they took over, but it has been phenomenal. Their standard pedicure ($35), is everywhere else's deluxe. The standard pedicure includes a leg massage, scrub, lotion, paraffin wax dip, hot towels, and hot stone massage. In 8 years, sure I've had a FEW times that my toes didn't look perfect.... But 99% of the time I have been so pleased. They've done shellac, designs, tips, solid colors.... They've done them all on my toes without complaint and I've loved the look. I had acrylics on for a solid two years, before I started school and had to take them off. I've had them back on for 6 months now, and I love the way they look! They last longer than anywhere else, and they aren't too thick, bulky, they're always even. I prefer to keep mine short and looking natural, and they do every time. I keep shellac on my acrylics due to the nature of my job, and I have zero problems the two weeks between fills. One time I got a chip and peeled it off, but that has only happened once. I've asked Maya (she's the young woman people are talking about) to do some fun designs that I've found on Pinterest, and she does a great job! She also helps me pick out some fun colors that I wouldn't always choose for myself. They know what I do for work, they always ask about school (she gave me a free set after my graduation!), they know what colors I like and what styles I like. I love coming back here. They always offer water or soda. I've cheated and gone to some other salons due to convenience (I live in Issaquah now), and I regret it every time. The quality isn't as good, the nails break, I didn't get as much for my money... It's never better. I understand people have different experiences, and some are better at nails than others... But my experience is always great. read more

I've been to Jenny Nails Too quite a few times. Pedicures are nice here, they come with a hot rock massage and hot paraffin wax. This time I received a fill and a gel manicure($35). Overall my experience was fine. I didn't get a back massage like usual, Oh well. The gel is really thick and has some bumps. I'm not in love with my manicure but it will do. Update: The gel is now chipping and coming off in layers. Very frustrating! *I returned to Jenny Nails Too* The ladies changed my gel color and the results look great. If you are looking to be pampered, this place is probably a good spot for you and you would probably give this place more stars than I did. However, if you have hard working feet that need a serious pedicure, this sadly isn't the spot you should stop at. I was there for about 25-30 minutes, however only about 5ish of those minutes were actually spent working on my feet. It seemed like rubbing lotion and oils on me was more important than actually making sure the skin of the feet and nails were taken care of. The customer service during my experience was also, sad to say, very poor. :( All personal opinions. read more

I went here over the weekend to get my nails done for my baby shower. My pedicure was fine but the manicure was the worst I've ever had. She filed all of my nails different from the next, used old polish that had a ton of hairs and fibers in it which ended up staying in the gel, and missed a lot of nail, including the tips of each nail. I left with polish all over my fingers, outside of my nails. I paid the full amount and I'm completely regretting it. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

This place is terrific! I've never had a man-mani/pedi as good as they give here. You get the trim, the file, the smoothing, sure. But you also get a wonderful foot, leg, hand, and arm massage. And hot paraffin. And hot stone massage on your legs! All for $35. What a bargain. The place is pretty new and very clean. The staff is polite and friendly. Parking is easy, right in front of the place, which is in a little strip mall across the street from QFC. So what's not to like? Go here. read more

Polishes are old and often too thick or too thinned out. I enjoyed this place when I first opened but the polish smudges a long while after being painted or is so thin the color isn't full. I was disappointed to leave after a long while during my last visit to find the polish wasn't even close to dry. read more

I had been going here bi weekly for YEARS. They were great. Right after I got engaged we were going on a big trip so logically I needed my nails done. Two days later while in Paris... 6 of my ten fingers were swollen, hot, bright red and sore. By day three my nails were oozing puss and I was begging my now husband to help pop them from underneath because it was so painful to touch anything or eat. I peeled them off myself on that trip and never went back. I'm not sure what happened since I had many great experiences, the staff is kind and genuine. I just would be careful with how they clean stuff. I'm sure I was a one off incident but it was pretty horrifying and terrible timing. read more

I have been coming here for a while until 10 minutes ago. usually my nails last almost 2 weeks but I'm hard on my nails so that's expected. HOWEVER, last week I took in my daughter and hers lasted a less than a day I took a picture and took it in the next day to see if I can redone. they said yes went in today they acted as though it was inconvenient.long story short the older woman was unfriendly, very angry telling us that we couldnt change the color wouldn't explain why and just said "we just had too". Very rude. They can keep our money because apparently that's more important than doing their professional job. The issue isnt so much the nails started immediately coming off, that can happen I guess. it's the extremely poor and snapping attitude as soon as we walked in with it only getting worse as though we were putting them out. we wont go back. This salon looks very nice and clean. My dip manicure was only 35 to remove the previous and apply the new color. My manicure color didn't quite match the plastic sample nail, too orange which was disappointing. There were several small flaws in the manicure. It only lasted three weeks before it started lifting. There were a few sharp edges along the cuticle. Economical. read more

This salon is NOT a great spot to get a pedicure. I was in there for Pedi and my toe got infected and I called to let the owner know my toe was infected and he told me I couldn't get a refund unless I went to the doctor and then brought a note saying the infection was from a pedicure and then he would submit to his insurance company. REALLY for $30 I am going to go through all that! I don't have time in the day to do all that. Soooooo I guess I won't be returning to this salon where they can't even refund a $30 pedi. Also I had to fix my nails because they were chipping 3 days after the pedi, I wasn't about to go back in to Jenny's to get it fixed in fear I would get another infection. Sad read more

DO NOT GO HERE. So I've been here a couple of times and everything was ok. Not great but ok. Until today. I need 3 nails put on since I had broken them on a camping trip. When I got home and actually looked at my nails they we put on at the complete wrong angle. They looked like little rhino horns. I went back had her remove them and start over. Only to have her place them the EXACT same way. When a man says your nails are bad. You know they're bad. I ended up stopping her from finishing. She claimed she wasn't done. Which is fine, I can see where this is going. She then refused to refund my money. I ended up going elsewhere where they all gathered to laugh at how awful my nails were done. This is the second time I've come in for a pedicure since they reopened after the COVID shutdown. They've done a great job of preparing for their clients. The salon's appearance is very clean. They follow the protocols of asking the questions regarding the virus before you enter, everyone is wearing a mask, there are plexiglass barriers hung between client and nail artists. And, the pedicure was complete with a soothing massage and lotions, etc. very nice. I will come again! read more

This place is a disaster. I came for a gel manicure, and it was the most awkward thing ever. There is an island table set up in this awkward little area, you have to sit in these bar stools, and it's just a hot mess. The gal who did my manicure was nice, but the manicure was rushed and was uncomfortable sitting at this table. When I went to pay there are signs everywhere asking to leave tip in cash, I'm sure so it isn't taxed. I only had $2 so that's what she got for a tip. I will not be back. read more

I've tried this place twice and was unimpressed. The first time was mediocre, but I thought maybe I'd try again. The second time was my last. The girl doing my pedicure was so rough and was more interested in chatting with her coworkers to realize that she didn't even file all of my nails after cutting them. I had to file a few when I got home. The massage was painful, probably because she was so busy chatting that she mindlessly kept massaging one area over and over until it hurt. I ONLY love one young lady there and thats pretty much the only one who ill let do my nails. not sure what her name is, but shes amazing she does whatever you want and doesnt say no. everyone else is VERY stubborn and unprofessional. When you ask for a special design or something new, they mumble under their breath and start talking to ther other women very angry. you can sort of tell they are talking BAD about you. They're good, but it's kind of difficult to explain what you want done when you're asking about designs. The fact is that one or maybe two of their technicians can speak (very little)English. The people were very friendly so 5 stars for their professionalism. I came in for a pedicure and I'm sure the woman who worked on my nails was very new. She seemed nervous and really unsure about the procedures. When I left, my nail polish looked like I had just did it myself, not the shiny professional look that I usually get at other places. My guess is that it is hit and miss, they are busy in there so I'm sure if I got someone with more experience then I would be much happier with the end result. read more

Relaxing because they aren't talking to you all the time and yes, they do speak another language. So what? My pedicure lasts until I need my nails trimmed. Must not be too rough on my toes. Do not go here! Today was my first time and the person who greeted me was so rude. Everyone of the employees speak very poor English and communicate only between themselves in their language. They have absolutely no interaction with the customer. They chat nonstop only between themselves. The person doing my toenails was going to use an Emory board that had been used on others, until I asked her to please use a clean new one. They painted the skin around my nails and didn't even make an effort to remove it after I asked. Missed spots and left chipped spots on toenails. Disgusting!!! They had all these excuses like they didn't see me on video (?? ok can I get my money back then?) and it was such a hassle to get my refund after an already terrible experience. I just came in to get my gap filled for my acrylics and it was my first time there and when she was buffing my nails she kept go to close to my cuticles and and it hurt and she kept hitting nerves in my finger while buffing which also hurt. When she was done panting my nails they weren't smooth and my fingers were hurting for the rest of the day. read more

I went in for a full set acrylic with coffin style nails. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, just that shape and one color. They ended up being more regular square than coffin. When I pointed it out she said it would look different after its done. After it was done I was left with square tip nails and the acrylic was very bulbous and wavy on each nail. It was close to closing and I just wanted to get out of there. I ended up going home and painfully taking the nails off and made an appointment to Lotus in Ballard the next day. They took their time and I got exactly what I wanted! I just hate that I wasted 45 bucks plus tip! read more
