I recently visited Jenny's Nails and Spa, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I first arrived, the atmosphere seemed fine and I didn't have any immediate concerns. However, once I sat down for my pedicure, things quickly went downhill. I walked in around 3:00 PM, and despite arriving before several other customers, at least four or five people came and went before my toes were even finished. It took nearly two hours just to complete a pedicure. Communication was also a major issue. Every time I tried to explain what I wanted, the staff acted as though they already knew, but the final result was nothing like what I requested. I asked for French tips on my toes, but instead the entire nail was painted. The acrylic application was poorly done, the shape was incorrect, and no one even asked what nail shape I preferred before starting the service. The pricing was even more frustrating. I was charged $155 for short nails, plus an additional $30 in surcharges that were never clearly explained. When I asked about the extra charges, I felt like I was being brushed off instead of getting a straightforward answer. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I drove all the way from the other side of town specifically to visit this salon. To pay nearly $200 and still not receive what I asked for is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Customers deserve clear communication, transparency in pricing, and services that match what they request. read more

7 months pregnant and this pedicure was definitely worth it! It was $50 for the deluxe pedicure and the massage was amazing! I believe her name was Hannah, did an awesome job with everything! When I left I even smudged some of the polish and they didn't hesitate to fix it right up! (Regular polish was the way to go for me instead of gel) Definitely will be coming back! read more

This was my go to nail salon. I loved my tech but last visit the lady at the front was very short in answering questions and even seemed annoyed. She had an attitude which I'm not sure if she was new or not but it definitely made me not want to return. I always get and over lay and pedicure. I asked for new drill bits as I didn't see any antiseptic or anything that would indicate disinfecting of the tools they were just in a bucket. If you get Amy or a younger nail tech you might be okay. But I had a older lady an SHE WAS RUDE AN HURT ME. I pulled my toe away just for her to grab it back. I pulled away again I'm pain. She tap my foot finally like okay okay. Didn't shape my toes like I asked an insistent that she did. They are rounded not square. She didn't listen to the color I wanted . An I just picked whatever cause she was not listening. Did a shitty job on my real nails . Didn't shape those or bother to paint the nails even an they are lumpy. Paid $100 an didn't tip because it was so bad. I always tip but this was the worse Her application was horrible an I wanted to cry because I had a date right after Oh I needed One fake nail an she put the largest nail she could on my ring finger . Came on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed! By sheer luck I sat with AMY and had the most amazing new set out on and every fill has been nothing short of amazing!! She freehands the designs and when I show her a picture-my nails come out even better! You have to make an appointment with her but it's worth the wait! I just got a "pedicure" and "manicure" here because I received a gift certificate. I put quotes around those words because I truly don't even know if you can call them that. The lady that did my nails and toes was sweet but she ran the water and put my feet in there for about 2 minutes then took them out drained the water and that was it. There was no massage for my legs and she cut both of my big toes with a drill. She painted my toes and that was it, definitely not a pedicure in my book. The manicure wasn't awful but the paint job was not great and you can just tell it was a very rushed process even though I was the first one there when they opened. Extremely unimpressed and would not recommend this service to anyone. I walked out paying $95 in total and in my opinion didn't even receive what I was paying for. Will not be back. read more

Jenny's is a fairly new nail salon in beautiful, Columbus, GA. I messaged them to schedule appointment and they replied quickly. Amy took care of me and has for a few months now. She is very talented and knows what she's doing. She also gives my hands a quick massage after getting them done...such a treat! The salon atmosphere is very relaxing. With Covid and social distancing such a big thing it really makes me feel at ease that they have their stations spaced out and employees wearing masks and cleaning. Terrible service. The older Asian lady made all kinds of comments about the nails I wanted. Then cut me by clipping my cuticles too much. Then didn't know hot to use matte finish or how to paint an entire nail. She added about eight coats (which isn't normal). The nail dryer kept stopping and she blamed me. Then after talking negatively she said she'll just take $5 off because she couldn't do what I wanted. Then when ringing out she tried to charge me over $100 for my nails. After asking her to tell me how much my services cost, it was only $85 which I shouldn't have even paid. A day later my nails bubbled and peeled off. I've tried this place three times. I went here for a mani and pedi and although my pedi is standing secure, my mani on the other hand is NOT! I got my nails done and was being rushed because it was time for them to close (I came before they were closing two hrs before hand just so they didn't rush me getting them done) and the guy did not cure my nails long enough for them to set. So the next day (fourth of July) I was washing dishes and literally my whole thumb nail was peeling off, I called no answer, which is to be expected it was a holiday, came the next day to get it fixed just for it to do the same thing. I will never be coming back. This place is a hidden gem. I found it and at first when I walked in I was a bit turned off because no one greeted me but looked at me. A lady finally walked by after a few minutes and told me to have a seat. No one really directed me on where to get nail colors for my nails but after they started my pedicure they showed me the colors they had. They did an excellent job on my manicure and pedicure. I also notice they have beverage's available. I wasn't offered one for some reason but saw another guest get one upon leaving. I think overall this is a great place because they do a great job on your nails and the place is clean. The only downfall is they have to really work on their customer service. I would still return here because they did a great job. I will just have to remember the customer service isn't so good. read more

I was making appointment every single time for my gel nails but the lady I had she always forgot so I had to wait. Last time she forgot again of course so she told me to wait 20min. Then she forgot I'm there waiting and an hour later I left. And I really didn't like the old lady for pedicure, she was always shaking her head like my feet are disgusting or something and then she cut my skin around nails and nails until it started to hurt. read more

Where do I start!! The wait wasn't very long but the overall experience was a mess. I received a gel pedicure. I know coloring in the lines isn't everyone's area of expertise but if you work at a nail shop I expect you to get it right. The polish is on skin and bumpy on both of my big toes. The guy that did my pedicure clearly wasn't interested in providing a great experience. They were not packed So I have no idea why he couldn't take his time. He put the lamp on my big toe essentially messing up the polish, however he gave me attitude because he couldn't get it together. Overall nice salon. Amy did my nails and I was satisfied. She's not very accommodating and one time forgot she set up a appointment with me and acted like it was my fault. I missed my last appointment with her because of a sudden family emergency. Texted her and I apologized. Asked if I can reschedule or come that day but later. I was going in for a simple full set and a pedicure it was going well until the lady did my toes I told her I didn't like how bright the pink was for the French tip and she continued to do the service, the pedicure was rushed and don't get me started on my nails! My nails were horrifying, they were completely rushed. I understand they want to go home but I'm also paying good money for these services and for them not to be done well to my standards and especially when I spoke up and told them that the job was not to my liking. The nail techs do good work, and I definitely prefer their work to other places I've been. BUT they have almost never honored my appointment times. I always make an appointment, and I've had to wait every time I show up for my appointment - sometimes plus 15 minutes. Then the receptionist is always surprised when I tell her I have an appointment, as if they never bothered putting me in the schedule. read more

Usually I don't bother with reviews even the service/experience isn't extremely bad...I was traveling through town and had two of my acrylic nails broke off. Searched for the nail places nearby and this place has pretty decent yelp reviews and photos. So I went in the shop, first it was an older gentleman took me. He had applied the acrylic nail on my right thumb then started filing away. Shape just looked off from my left thumb...I pointed it out and he kept adjusting/filing still looked off. Then I tried to reshape it and discovered this new nail is actually cut a little too short hence the shape is different from my left thumb and the tip part wasn't even filed smoothly like it's not a smooth curve. He then looked a little annoyed started pointing at me while talking to his coworker. I had to explain to the other lady and she took over. But the length is shorter than needed there's no saving it. Both of the new acrylic nails the old man did had glue sticking to the corner of my fingers and he never bothered to fix this. Overall, I feel like they lack the basic skills and standards. I walked in and asked for a regular pedicure and manicure. I was told to sit in chair 15 which had a wet nasty rag on it from a prior service. A man walked over to service me and did not greet me. He began to run water and told me to put my feet in. I told him that the bowl and Footstool need to be sanitized. He the filthy rag on the next station with an attitude. Then asked me with an attitude what kind of pedicure I wanted. I asked him what type was offered and he just handed me a form. I told him just a regular pedicure and he rolled his eyes and began to mumble under his breath. He rushed through my pedicure and skipped many of the offerings that it came with. He only clipped my nails and put lotion on for literally 1 sec to wipe it off with a towel and polished my nails. He complained and shook his head the entire time. The lack of sanitization, customer service and overall all experience is appalling. The state board needs to visit for sanitization checks alone. I will NEVER patronize this "business" again. Beware if speaking your money here or letting them touch your feet. Also there was a barefoot employee sitting in an empty seat cough with her mouth uncovered repeatedly during the middle of a pandemic. If you are cautious of your health and safety I wouldn't go here either. read more
