It took them 2 days to do the oil change, which I was very patient about, seeing as I didnt need it back that day anyways. Later, when it all had fallen apart, the service manager blamed me "for rushing them". In short, I asked them to figure out why I had power lag issues. They misdiagnosed it twice. $500 and a tow truck later, they gave me the truck back claiming it was fixed. It was worse than before. They replaced a fuel line without checking the tank. Debris went from the tank, through the new fuel line, and clogged up the system. The truck cost me another $1500 to fully repair because the actual mechanics had to redo the work that Jensen did. This location is run by an unprofessional manager named Mark who will blame you for the mistakes of his technicians. The kids they hire do not know what they are doing. Diagnosing debris in an old gas tank is an incredibly easy thing to do and should've been one of the very first things they checked. They never did identify or solve the issue. Matter of fact, they made it much worse and then BS'd me until I left. Do not go here. They will take your money and give you nothing back for it. Had the most amazing experience with Jensen tire today. I was on my way out of town at 6am and heard meowing coming from my front driver side. After over an hour of trying to get the kitten that climbed into the wheel well out, I called Jensen and they said they would assist. They worked at it for an hour and took apart part of the vehicle to rescue the kitten. Officer Williams from the humane society was there to assist and take the kitten for proper care. They didn't charge for the cat retrieval and I went ahead and got a tire rotation and was and was out on the road. They were life savers for both the kitten and myself today. read more

Very happy with Jensen Tire. I had a fairly expensive repair and was not happy with it. I called the manager and she took a personal interest in getting it done right. They had the vehicle 2 more days, replaced several parts and took several test drives, finally got a very difficult to find noise fixed. read more

Well, they changed my oil and didn't fill it. One quart down. Did not reset my maintenance light. Told me I needed all kinds of repairs with out showing me pics of problems, which wd have helped. Jensen is such a scam! Like Jason U. who commented on another location, hey said the same thing to me about my brakes and told me they couldn't release my car to me, for fear that the brakes were bare and I could die on my way home, and that it would be $1000+ for the services I needed. Uh, I only went in for an oil change. Yeah, I smell bullshit and I don't trust it. I continued to drive my car for another 6 months without any problems. My next oil change with a trusted private mechanic said I still had a good 40-50% left on my brakes. Shame on you, Jensen. You see a female and make her believe her car is unsafe to drive when honestly there was nothing wrong. Was on my way home from Colorado when the tire light came on. We had filled the tires before leaving that morning but now I was concerned. Found Jensen at 10 min to closing on a Saturday. They phoned several tire dealers in the area and no one had "Run Flat" tires to fit my car so I opted for a set of regular tires to get me home to Michigan. They were on top of this quickly and I was back out and on the road by 5:20. This is a good place to take your car for routine maintenance. Changing of oil, tune ups, etc. They even do a decent job with slightly more complicated maintenance, such as changing an alternator, servicing brakes, and of course tires. However, for major repairs or very complex diagnostics, they are not the best choice (in my experience). read more

Horrible. Was charged $50 for a diagnosis WITH OUT PRIOR NOTICE. We were given a long list of problems on our 5 year vehicle (over $3000) and they even tried to tell us we need new tires. We got new tires 18 months ago. The store "manager" truly needs some customer service training. Please find a honest mechanic and give this place a hard pass !! read more

My tire had gone flat overnight and had been losing pressure for several days. Had the tire checked at Jensen's in Omaha, and their consensus was that it had a screw in it, and was too close to the flat part of wheel (not sidewall) and could not be repaired. They offered an option to purchase a new tire with prices from $179. to $350. per tire. Since I lived in Lincoln, I said I preferred to buy in Lincoln. So they put the spare donut tire on my car and I drove an hour home not going over 50 mph as suggested. They charged me nothing for the service. After arriving in Lincoln, I stopped at T. O. Haas Tire on South 56th, and asked them to look at my tire and see if it could be fixed. Within 30 minutes they said they repaired the nail hole in it and it was good to go at a cost of $25. So Jensen's was either incompetent or fraudsters. So, one star for Jensen's and 5 stars for T.O. Haas of Lincoln, NE. read more

This Jensen tire location was so gracious to repair my camper tire without charging me a dime. I didn't purchase the tire at Jensen, nor have I puchased any tires from Jensen, but they repaired my valve stem and filled the tire with nitro without charging me a dime. I will buy my next set of tires from this Jensen tire location! Thank you Jensen! read more

I have used the 120th and Dodge Jensen Tire location for going on 10 years. All of the staff have been very helpful and courteous. I have not had problems with up selling. In my opinion educating of problems and potential problems are completely different from up selling. read more

Actually I would give 0 stars to Jensen Tire & Auto. I took my car in to simply have my oil changed, a blinker bulb replaced and a whole blinker console replaced. They called and said they didn't have the parts for the blinker replacement but I could pick it up and bring it back when the parts were in the next day. I went to start my car to leave the lot and my battery was completely dead, wouldn't even turn over. They gave me no explanation as to why my battery was dead when I had no issues when I dropped it off. They checked my battery and said it was a "bad battery" and if it was under warranty they could replace it after I argued with them for about 10 minutes. I said, "I'm not paying for a new battery when I was working appropriately when I dropped it off. There is no way the battery should be completely dead." I got home and looked at my receipt and they charged me for the blinker console even though I had not yet received it and they didn't even change my oil. I go back to have the blinker console put in (because obviously I had already paid for it) and tell them they didn't change my oil and the same manager said, "you didn't tell us to." I said no, I did, but you obviously forgot because you didn't charge me for it. He then proceeds to tell me that they ordered the wrong part and they can't fix my blinker today so I would have to come back AGAIN!!! 3 trips to get my car fixed correctly?!?! are you kidding me? To add to it, they can't find any history on my car to replace my battery. Do not trust them. Do not take you car here. Wasted time, wasted money, and headache. Charge was $400 more than verbal estimate. Next time: 1) Get a written estimate before approving work. 2) Go somewhere else. I feel fortunate it was only $400 more. What else can you do besides pay it? The "he said" argument does no good. At the end of the day, they have your car. By the way, the work is fine. read more

Called for service and received an estimate over the phone, sounded reasonable so I dropped off the vehicle. An hour later I get a call from the manager, he wanted to triple the repair estimate. Picked up my vehicle and went to brakes plus, repairs were done fast and exactly what I was quoted. read more

120th and Dodge St. Omaha, NE Bought two snow tires from Jensen on the Third of December. On Christmas one of the tires exploded while out on the road and I thought I hit a pot hole because of the pop, jerk, and the light going on in the car. Got the car towed home as the Nissan Leaf has no spare. Went back and checked with my GF's car and there was no pothole. Took two days for Jensen to open up as it was a holiday and changed out the flat for my regular all seasons using Lyft as transportation. The Manager said, "I believe it was a puncture." They had to order my tires before so they ordered another one to replace the popped snow tire. Like anywhere I'm assuming this is under a 30 day warranty but know better than to ask at this point. Takes them a week to get the tire in which is no big deal as the weather is nicer. Their customer service was nice so I was nice to them. The person at the front desk was smart and called the Manager on the telephone to find out what to do with my situation. Came back and told me there was no warranty on my tire and gave me the price to get everything squared away. I checked their website on my tire while I waited and he was right that it was not listed as having a manufacture warranty. I found a part on the website while I was waiting that I will put at the bottom. Because of this I asked the desk person one more time if my tire was covered under any warranty before I left. I was very polite when he said no and enjoyed our conversations as he was a very nice individual. Besides who wants to have a pissing contest over such a matter, we both know how it's going to end. My qualm is not with the service that I received. Their customer service was done very well mostly. I'm also very fortunate to be able to afford this kind of mishap so it's not a bother to me in that regard. But I pictured what happened to me instead happening to a single Mother just trying to make ends meet and it saddened me greatly so I wrote this letter. A company that boasts about having the best warranty in the business but doesn't come through on their solemn promises. You aren't the only tire store I've been to in my near 40 years of life and your "no warranty" doesn't compare to other tire stores. I'm old enough where I've been in this situation two other times before with new tires and was treated justly. Anyways I just wanted to give a big "SHAME ON YOU JENSEN!"...not because the people who work at Jensen are bad people but because they are forced to lie to people by a company that fools people into believe a lie. My Honda's radiator blew out about two blocks away from Jensen Tire and Auto today, and I pulled in because I had no other choice. And I am so, so lucky I did. I live about 120 miles away from Jensen Tire, and when I told them that, they offered to get me right in, sent someone running for a new radiator, gave me a restaurant recommendation (but offered to get me something to drink if I preferred to stay in the waiting room), and had me back on the road in two hours. They were kind, compassionate, professional, and FAST. I can only hope the next time I have car trouble, I'm close to these guys. read more

I went in for an oil change, as well as to fix a grinding and ticking noise coming from engine when it accellerates while driving and being idle. $1000 later, my car still makes the same noises. Nothing has chamged. As well as going for a $26 oil change but charged $60 for oil kit fir them to use on my car, as well as other hidden charges not discussed whentalking about my cars problems. Told me I needed 3 flushes varing in $60-90 per flush on 3 year old car. After being told by numerous people later on it's never needed but I was told a necessity from the employee that worked there or my car wouldn't run. I also asked to see the old parts he replaced and was told not allowed, he already threw them away. They made it sure for me to never go to their business and warn others. read more

I had some car trouble with a fairly new vehicle (2008) on Dodge, right near this location...I have gotten new tires at Jensen before so I was already a customer, but have not been to this location. I was told I needed a new alternator and battery. I knew I probably needed a new battery soon, but the alternator seemed odd. Regardless, my car was having steering issues, so I decided to go through with the recommended service. After I paid nearly $600 dollars for the repairs, I drove off and had the same thing happen two blocks away. I called back and they took the car back, looked at it, told me it was working fine. I told them I just stalled out and that various lights came on that haven't before, and they ran a few tests on a machine and said that it must have been a coincidence. At this point I had called a friend who is a mechanic for another brand of car and he referred me to a Mazda specialist who told me the issue was most likely due to carbon build up, a known issue with this particular model of Mazda and about a $200 fix. Jensen tire didn't know what was wrong with my car and didn't want to admit to that, so they fixed what they thought the issue was and put me in great danger to myself and others on the road. I emailed and called to complain and all they said was that my car had issues due to temperature change (this happened in the winter) from driving from a garage into the cold. (WHAT?...and the issue suddenly started??) I called headquarters where i explained my situation calmly and nicely to the man on the phone who proceeded to scream at me and insult me. I finally hung up, crying...absolutely in shock at how this man handled the situation. If anything, I wanted to bring to his attention what was happening at this location in hopes that he would provide better training for his mechanics or be aware of what is happening, but instead all they did was deny that they did anything wrong. I have since told multiple friends about this, some shared a similar experience or have stated they will not go here. I do not recommend this place at all. Go to someone who knows your brand of car or a local mechanic who has a good reputation locally. I will never go t Jensen tire for any service, just based on the principal of the fact that they were so unprofessional...from this location...all the way to headquarters. read more
