Jerelyn did my makeup for my engagement shoot and bridal party. She does beautiful work. I love the way my skin looked and my lips were the right color I asked for. Brows looked natural the first time but it wasn't exactly how I do them. For the engagement shoot my lashes were too dramatic as well so I asked for those changes with my bridal shower. The changes were made and I was happier however my issue was just that I wanted to look like myself with makeup just better and I felt like it was a little too glam so maybe I should have provided a photo of myself with makeup to explain better what I was looking for. My mom did not approve of my makeup and therefore i didn't feel comfortable moving forward with booking my wedding. Edit to add: she also did my hair both times and I really liked that too read more

I found Jerelyn through Instagram and mutual friends. I booked her initially for a trial run for an engagement shoot back in February 2015. My trial was at 11:30am and our engagement shoot was at 5:30pm. I absolutely LOVED how she did my make up and I was hoping the make up lasted all day. When we got to our engagement shoot at 5:15 the photographers were loving my make up and asked if I just had it done. I told them so proudly that I got my make up down at 1130 this morning. My face looked FLAWLESS! Since then, I have continued to book Jerelyn for graduation hair &makeup, another engagement shoot, and two bridal showers, as well as my wedding! Jerelyn did my hair and airbrush make up for my wedding. She also did 5 of my girls including my mom with airbrush make up, and one of my girls had regular foundation done. All the make was FLAWLESS and you couldn't even tell which one had regular foundation. All the make up lasted THE WHOLE DAY given we started bright and early at 8am. She is awesome to work with and very down to earth and just talking to her makes it seem like you have known her for YEARS!!! Jerelyn is the best of the best! She made the entire process from the trial to the day of my wedding extremely easy. I got married November 7 and had a total of 6 that needed makeup, 5 of which also needed hair done. She showed up on time ready to get started. Crystal, who she brought with to do my girls hair also showed up ready to go. Both Jerelyn and Crystal made me, my girls, and my mom look flawless. Their work is truly incredible and worth every penny. They both made us all feel so comfortable and gorgeous. They treated us all as if we had been friends for years. One by one my girls got their hair and makeup done. Jerelyn would do one girls make up and Crystal would do another girls hair. No time was wasted. I was last and Jerelyn did both my hair and makeup. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and she made it come to life. While I was getting my dress on she was touching up the girls makeup and next thing you know it was time for pictures! Jerelyn is great. if I could I would say 3.75 stars. My makeup was beautiful and lasted the whole day!! She airbrushes, so it feels like nothing on your skin. All my bridesmaid looked great as well. The only thing is that she was late to our makeup trial which was ok since I didn't have any appointments that day but she was significantly late. She was also late 20 min+ late on the day of my wedding and because of this I was afraid we would not make our timeframe. One of my bridesmaids ended up doing my flower girls hair which I prepaid for her to do. She does wonderful work just keep in mind it may not be on time. read more

Jerelyn was a referral from another mua that was booked for the day I needed bridesmaid makeup and hair done. I love Jerelyns before and after pictures on her Instagram and decided to book her. Hands down BEST DECISION EVER. Being previously a mua (now retired) I know the proper etiquette a true professional makeup artist should present themselves as. Jerelyn first of is the sweetest and she just has this very vibrant yet professional persona about her. Hands down at this point I have to say she is the best mua I have worked with and I have tried out a few. Jerelyn keeps a clean workstation, and also is sanitary with all her products (you would be surprised how many mua will use the same lip brush or re dip a mascara wand, and that is a major no no), Jerelyn was just an amazing person and such a TALENTED mua and hairstylist to work with and talk to. Jerelyn did my wedding makeup for my Indian wedding and I could not have been happier!!! I was a little nervous because I hadn't done a trial since it was a destination wedding, but I showed her an inspiration photo and I couldn't have been happier. She is great at working with darker skin tones which is not always easy to find. My makeup stayed put the entire day (in spite of being outdoors and a TON of dancing). Jerelyn was my hair and makeup artist for my wedding last November in La jolla and she was absolutely amazing! There were 10 of us that needed hair and makeup and her team of three did a wonderful job! Our makeup lasted the entire day and night which is over 12 hours!
