I dropped off a rifle for a barrel swap estimated cost "not more than $200.00", after three months…read morethe gunsmith asked for the Bolt to complete "Headspace". One month later I was called to pickup the rifle, it was ready to go- $250.00 paid in full. Unfortunately 1st time out at the range, the rifle would not chamber a round. I returned the rifle and spoke with Travis. Next day Travis called and told me my rifle was ready- "$100.00 extra charge!!". When I questioned the extra charge, Travis and the Gunsmith (Father/Owner) became belligerent over the phone and hung up on me telling me "if I refused to pay the $100 then get my rifle and never return". Travis stated the problem was the barrel, not the swap. If that were the case, I felt THAT should have been identified during headspacing(?)- before I picked it up initially. I paid their extra $100 to avoid further conflict, I will NEVER return and would NOT recommend their service.
