    Roasted Beets salad SO GOOD!
    Laura I.

Not sure why all of the negative reviews. We went here expecting mediocre and food it ended up actually being very good! The place has an Oldschool vibe playing music from the 50's. Our waiter was very attentive, personable, and helpful with answering questions. We had the House Sangria, Caesar Salad, Beet Salad, and split the Eggplant Parm. The house Sangria was served in a huge glass and was some of the best I've had. The salads were both good but beet salad shined! I enjoyed the creaminess of the ricotta with the beets and crunch of the walnuts. The eggplant parm came with spaghetti and both were very tasty! Would recommend this spot and make a reservation just in case!

I have been here many times and It's always been a pleasant experience with the staff and the food. I like how they have different areas to sit and it definitely gives you the Italian restaurant vibe. I appreciate this restaurant and will continue going back.

Dry good food and the service was great the ambiance of the restaurant was very comfortable but remember your wallet very expensive

Penne vodka with added chicken Linguine with clams

The seats we got put in were great, two of us for one big booth. (I think it has a little to do with it being less crowded and the fact that I reserved an hour and half ahead of time). They had classical music playing for a little while then a mix of country; and different movies on around different tvs... was a good vibe Some martinis intrigued me but I'm personally not much of that guy, however my girl friend loved her life is beautiful one! Good name too The chicken (or shrimp) I feel is necessary with the penne vodka. Little bland and basic The linguine with clams my girlfriend got was also tasty , nice subtle flavors of all the ingredients. Our waitress was nice but for us being one out of only two tables, she was quite slow

    Calamari - was just okay

Located inside the Dover Downs casino, it is the best one that is currently open. Still I would say 3 out of 5 place. 1. Service - great. Bartender was nice, no nonsense. I liked her. 2. Food/drinks - edible, nothing special. Calamari - fine. that's it. Drinks - they do make mixed drinks. Not that good. It is not a fine mixed drink, let's just say that. 3. Music - however, I LOVED it. They have this old school 40s to 50s movies playing on TVs and they said they have pandora channel, but the music was delightful. I usually don't notice music background in places, but this was notable and I thoroughly enjoyed it despite it not being live music.

Absolutely AMAZING!! The flavors were wonderful and Vincenzo was wonderful! It was the perfect place to celebrate my son's 19th birthday! The antipasto board is to die for! The espresso martini was made with fresh espresso! The meatballs and ricotta cheese are so flavorful!

    Great Italian Wine Selection

We recently made reservations for our first visit. We had an amazing dinner and the service/staff was outstanding. They made it such a special evening for us both. We were celebrating Valentines and Birthday wrapped in one. I wanted to try everything on the menu. We had several appetizers and the Antipasta. All were perfect. The wine selection was awesome with most of the wines from Italy. We cannot wait to go back again.

The atmosphere was great and the restaurant appeared clean. The server (Kenny) was friendly and efficient. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. I had a lemon drop martini and my husband, a Long Island. Our order came out in a timely fashion and the meals looked great. However, the texture of the Alfredo pasta was not appealing. It was too soft, thin and flavorless. The only thing with flavor were the four shrimp. My husband did enjoy his Orechiette. I ordered a slice of lemon crème cake as well. It was delicious! The best part of the meal.

    Beautiful antipasto tray

They have nice food and bomb drink menu. And they're open until about 1a some nights if you're out in the casino late.

We made reservations for 5 and we checked in a promptly seated. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service is always stellar. The chef asked how everything was and of course it was amazing. I think everything is fairly priced as well as the portion you get. The atmosphere is always great. I wish we lived here because we would be regulars. Although the menu listed the ingredients, Parmesan wasn't mentioned, and the pizza arrived covered with it. I sent it back, and our waiter, Travis, handled the situation graciously and professionally. Once corrected, the pizza was delicious. They use a different green herb instead of traditional basil, which gave it a unique flavor. My husband enjoyed his meatball sub as well. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and pleasant, making for an enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely return.

Well, this place is everything that we have been missing in this type of atmosphere! I am so proud of the owner in taking the wonderful leap in renovating the actual restaurant and adding this new lounge. I get to have the best of both worlds of having the wonderful food from the restaurant and having a great lounge area to hang out on a Friday night. There are times that I come here two times a week as I absolutely love the food and the friendly service. The main bartender Jules is fantastic and takes such pride in creating and making drinks. They have many, many different types of specialty drinks. The appetizers are very reasonably priced and are simply delicious. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I arrived a bit late so missed the bruschetta appetizer (looked good) and had the salad, lasagna and a sample of the chicken marsala. The salad was the usual bagged leaves (I don't like them, no flavor) but that's what is standard in the US, so no fighting that. The chicken was also rather bland but the LASAGNA was fantastic. I'm quite critical of lasagna, even though I feel about lasagna the way Garfield the Cat feels about lasagna. Sometimes it's only a mess of ricotta and tomato sauce and not much flavor, but this lasagna had small meatballs of sausage and a good tomato sauce and not too much cheese, as in not overly capped by a layer of hard-to-digest mozzarella. The desserts looked as if they're brought in, but they were very good, standard stuff, cheesecake, carrot cake, and a chocolate cake that disappeared like mist on a summer meadow. But I only wish I had skipped dessert and loaded up on more lasagna, it was really delicious. If I eat there with friends instead of a party time, I'm pretty sure I'd be ordering that lasagna.

Upon entry the dining room was clean, bright and welcoming, huge plus! The male server did a great job and was very attentive to our needs. We tried the TRIO, spaghetti w/meatballs (husband's favorite anywhere) and were impressed with the freshness and flavors of our entrees, as well as the appetizers -calamari and crab- stuffed mushrooms- and fresh rolls they served with our salads. EVERYTHING was delicious and well-prepared! Overall we were very happy with the pleasant dining experience and knew we found our new go-to Italian place... Upon my second return with my daughter, being excited to share this place with her, there were inconsistencies from my first experience relating to service. The female server fell short of expectations and showed very little interest with our satisfaction and dining experience. However, before leaving the restaurant we were unexpectedly approached by the owner and after learning of our disappointment, was very apologetic and went above and beyond to accommodate us and made everything right. I was so pleased and impressed with his genuineness to leave us satisfied, as it has become less common from many establishments where customer satisfaction with service is not the focus. This place receives my highest recommendation and will continue to be our favored go-to Italian restaurant!!

It was clean, but very cold with even the hostess wearing a jacket, We ordered chicken Parm for lunch ($16 for the lunch portion and an extra charge if you would like salad). We also ordered a Caprese sandwich with soup. The soup arrived quickly but our main lunch was delayed. The server apologized saying there was an issue with the cook. Everything looked good, but the spaghetti was lukewarm, and the Caprese sandwich was tasteless with tomatoes that were like mush. The chicken parm was hot so it was odd that the spaghetti was not. We didn't see our waitress for a while so we shared the chicken Parm and just put the sandwich on the side. Even though there was one bite missing from the entire sandwich, the server asked if we wanted to take it to go. Overall, the meal was a disappointment, and we won't be returning.
