Random stuff is on empty tables all over the place, there are enough flies indoors that they needed a fly repellent fan, and the staff, including the manager, have no idea what specials are advertised on their website. For instance, Wednesday is supposed to be 1/2 price bottles of wine. This is advertised with today's date on their website. The waiter said they haven't had this special for months, and then when he asked the manager about it informed us that the special only actually applied to glasses of their cheapest wine. Not a good start. The restaurant was out of crab dip, the supposed "smash" burger was two grilled, gray, tough patties that didn't meet any remote definition of a smash burger. The truffle fries were ok as was the crab cake. The waiter, despite being unaware of the specials, was friendly and otherwise was efficient. This restaurant just has absolutely no business having 4 stars and anyone expecting "fine dining" as some other yelpers inexplicably wrote, will be sorely disappointed. As were we.

They import and sell exclusively Italian wines, and they source their wines directly from farmers who are dedicated to organic farming practices. They also import many wines from young winemakers as well as female winemakers (from regions where female winemakers are not very common). The tasting room is very comfortable and had plenty of seating for people on a Saturday night around 6. You can drop in for shopping (they offer all 50 of their wines in their bottle shop) or to hang out (they offer rotating flights, glasses of wine, and a build your own charcuterie board menu). I was there for the $30 tasting (which is by reservation only), which included five wines and a some snacks (some chips, some cheese, some olives, and some fresh preserves/jam). Bailey, their somm, took such great care of me throughout my tasting. He brought me a map of Italy and described each wine and the winemaker with incredible detail and insight. I enjoyed all of the wines and the snacks! I also left with a few bottles to enjoy later at home! I had a great time at Vine Bar. They're doing something very cool and different from other wine bars, and I'd love to return for another tasting or just to enjoy a glass of wine or two at the bar.

Met friends at this restaurant since it was a central location and because of the reviews I read. It is definitely a 5+!! The brussels sprouts appetizer is a must try. The cheesesteak egg rolls were also delicious. We enjoyed the hand held sandwiches and beverages.
