In the end all the refrigerator needed was more coolant, but to get there was a multiple week, multiple visit misadventure. First visit, diagnosed as thermostat issue, second visit to install thermostats decided it was the compressor, after waiting over a week for compressor to come in, third visit they decided to bring " head technician who knows more about this stuff" out and they decided it was low on coolant. Why not have the person who knows the most come out sooner? Being with out a freezer for almost a month is absurd. I do not recommend Jerry's and would not use them in the future. read more

This place calls the day before, and day of to make sure you are still interested in having them service your appliance. If you don't answer, they don't come. I can't always get to my phone, I could be in the bathroom, or in the shower, but they still demand I answer before they come out. I made the appointment because I wanted it and means I won't leave the day they plan to come out. But they want more verification, and this just causes me stress. I wish I didn't have to deal with Jerry's for this reason. Other places I call to service items don't demand you pick up phone before they come out, they just show up. I wish they'd change their policy because when I make an appointment, I plan to be here. I've had to take a second day off because they didn't show up the first time. The next day I waited all day by the phone and they never called either. They could have given me a time that they'd call, but they didn't. They really like to keep you hanging and I feel they don't really care. read more

Our service man came out and troubleshot on Tuesday then got the parts and finished the repair on Friday. It was not an easy repair, a double oven Electrolux that was built in with custom cabinets that left NO room for removing and repairing the oven. Tight fitting cabinets are good, but these were crazy tight With no consideration for future access. It was a real tedious job but he managed to get it done with only minimal scuffing of the wall and cabinet. Both easy repairs, and if you could have seen how tight everything was, it's a wonder the scuffs were so minimal. He did a great job which we are very happy with. Oh my, where do I begin? I have been without a washer for over 3 months. They are the repair company that Lowes uses to honor their warranties. The technician has been out here 5 times. The first visit the technician came out and couldn't do and didn't do anything because he didn't have another technician to help him unstuck the washer and dryer. The second visit they never called to give me a diagnosis, I called them two weeks later and they said "we had to order the part and it took longer than expected", although while the technician was here in my home said that part would only take a couple of days. Another 1.5 weeks later he came out again. They finally put a part on my washer, it did not work as my washer was still leaking out the front just the same as before. I called again and the representative for Jerry's appliance had closed out the ticket and deemed it fixed. They never called me or even gave me a chance to see if it was actually fixed. When it was not. And we went through these steps a couple more times. They keep reporting to the warranty company that they can't report anything wrong with it, when I have VIDEO proof of it leaking out the front within the first 10-15 minutes. Jerry's is negligent, lies, and at this point, dare I say, playing a game with the warranty company (FRAUD)to milk them for money. I just called today to tell them I had video proof and he said contact your warranty company and hung up on me. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with by far. BEWARE and also hold Lowes accountable for using Jerry's appliance repair and only them, no other choice for whirlpool washer and dryers. Ridiculous. read more

Super impressed with Jerry's. I've got a 4yr old refrigerator that is covered under Lowe's protection plan. When I called Lowe's, they scheduled Jerry's to come out to fix it. It's always tricky when dealing with a sub-contractor, because you have no say over who is coming to your house. But a few minutes after calling Lowe's, I got a call from Jerry's. From my description of the problem, they recognized that a part would need to be ordered, and they were calling to double-check the model number. That is far better than coming to my house, telling me they need to order a part, then making a 2nd appointment to fix it. I received a confirmation email of my appointment, asking to verify my address, and the day before my appointment, I received another email asking to reconfirm my appointment, and they provided a 3-hr window for when I could expect the tech. The day of my appointment, they sent me a link that I could track the tech's progress to my house, kind of like you track your pizza delivery. It shows what zip code he's currently in, and how many stops before they arrive at your house. Nice!!! The day the tech arrived, I got a 15 minute heads-up call that he was on the way. It literally took him 10 minutes to make the repair, because they already had the part that was needed. Even though I didn't have to pay anything, I would absolutely use Jerry's again for any appliance repair. read more

I didn't get many receipts...( it was my father and stepmother).05/ 2019 I get a text message from Jerry and Mary McClintock. They want my house and my car. Because a lack of receipts they got the house and two cars, and about $40,000 of personal property. I am presently homeless at this time. Thanks to Jerry and Mary Mcclintock's greed. This is all documented in the Bedford Circuit Court. They co-signed a loan for their only granddaughter. They tried to take the car from her....( it was almost paid off).. We bought a very nice dryer from Lowes seven months ago. On a Sunday morning, it stopped working. I called Lowes service support line and they set me up with a company to come out and fix it. It happened to be Jerry's Appliance Repair. They had it set up for Tuesday, but I was off work on Monday so i called them first thing Monday morning to see if they could come that day instead of Tomorrow. The guy checked the schedule and said he could have some out that afternoon. The guy called first like they said and he was right on time. He was very professional and courteous. It took him about 30 seconds to figure out the motor wasn't working properly. He ordered a replacement from his Ipad and said it would be delivered tomorrow sometime and he'd come back out on Wednesday to install it. And that's exactly what happened. Dryer works great now. We had a technician from out to look at our Samsung refrigerator on Tuesday May 22nd. In doing so, the technician (Devon) suggested that the parts and labor to repair the fridge would be cost prohibitive and the money would be better spent on replacing the unit. We were then charged $79.95 for the Service Trip (no problem, we knew that up front) and at the time did not have an issue with his assessment. On Wednesday morning (the 23rd) we woke up to find one of the drawers in the fridge full of water, which had never happened previously. While in the past we have had some water collect under the drawer, it was a very small amount and would take months to get to the point where it would be noticeable and need to be cleaned up. Following Devon's visit (yesterday) water is now collecting inside the drawer and is at the point it is re-filling the drawer every few hours and needs to be cleaned up constantly (it was cleaned out this morning and was full again by lunch time). I then called Jerry's Appliance to see if they could come back out and take a look at what had changed - obviously something that their Technician adjusted has caused the water to collect much quicker. In doing so, I spoke with Terry York in Customer Service. Terry informed me that they would have to charge us again the $79.95 to come back out - which is absolutely ridiculous, why would I pay for them to come back out and fix an issue they caused. I then asked for a refund of the original $79.95 charge, and was told no, he wouldn't do that. Following that exchange, I asked to speak with his supervisor and he refused to allow me to speak with anyone else, stating that the 'buck stopped with him'. I honestly have never seen such poor customer service, it seems Terry has a lot to learn about how to treat his customers. read more

I called to get repair on my washer, they were quick to come out and tell me the problem and order a 200.00 part. But when I got home after the part was put in, the washer did not work and still showed the same error! I called them and left a message an sent an email on Friday expecting a call back on Monday... but No call back. I left a send voice mail and still no call back. On Wed. I called again and they said they couldn't leave a message because no set up! I have had the same number for the last6 yrs. They dis come out again and now said it was a new board needed and he wasnt giving me credit for the part paid for that was not needed. Nor would they give me credit toward a new washer. I called these guys Friday afternoon about a problem with my fridge/freezer leaking water and being frozen over. Dave, the repair tech who handled the call, came out first thing Monday morning--called at 8am sharp, 30 minutes before arrival, as promised. He was clean and polite and fixed the problem in under 20 minutes. The cost for a service call was $75 for any labor, plus parts, if needed. None were needed. He used the tools off his truck and the problem is no more. YAY! He even offered to help me clean up the rest of the water in the freezer so it wouldn't freeze over and asked if I wanted his help putting frozen items back in the freezer. I certainly didn't need the help but it showed dedication to good customer service to offer anyway. Highly recommended. read more

We have a Whirlpool refridgerator that is 5 years old and everything in it was freezing. It has French doors with the freezer on the bottom. We called Jerry's and Jerry, himself came out to fix it. He said it needed a new temperature sensor in the freezer, a new circuit board on the front and a new mother computer circuit board in the back. He charged us $720!!! for two trips here and the refridgerator still doesn't work and he will not give any refunds or guarantees. I have had Jerry's Appliance and Repair over 3 times to fix my washing machine and it still isn't fixed. It is a new Electrolux, but after a wash the door will not open. They have replaced 2 parts and the problem still persists. When they come over and say they have fixed it but leave and the problem is still happening you would think they would come right on over and fix it but no..they make you wait for several more days maybe even a week if they tell you that they have to get a part! I bought a new refrigerator from HH Gregg, a Frigidaire. It has an ice maker. It came to me broken from the manufacturer. The first time I called Frigidaire was a nightmare (which is a whole different yelp review). Not only was the customer service rep at Frigidaire lacking in skills needed, but the repair person she sent did NOT fix the issue. So, the second time I called the manufacturer, she gave me a different company to work with ... that being Jerry's Appliance Repair. These folks returned my call immediately. They arrived on time. They completely fixed the issue and now Lisa is a happy girl because her ice maker actually (gasp) produces ice. Yay! I will use these folks again, should the need arise and would absolutely recommend their services to others! read more

I had a whirlpool washer and the top lid broke ($300+ including the part) and Jerry replaced it. It broke again and then the basket bearings went bad within a month or two he wouldn't return my calls. I ended up buying a new washer because it was clear that it was going to be cheaper. I would never do business with Jerry again. I understand if the job got more complicated but simply refusing to return my calls is not ok. I was very patient and polite and I gave him every opportunity to do the right thing before writing a bad review. read more

I called for an appt for my dishwasher. i told them the problem (bad sensor, perhaps, it kept stopping in the middle of a cycle with an error message). I asked if they also checked plumbing for clogs and they told me to have that done separately, they do not do this. So I have a plumber do this on Thursday. On Friday, Jerry's come over. They told me they'd be there 8am-5pm. I was out on appt, they left message then came over while my teenage daughter was home alone. She had no idea they were even coming over, let alone knew how to manage this service call. So what does the repair guy do? He cleans the drain -- something the staff person said they do not do. Then he says the machine is fixed and charges me $75. Meanwhile, as you would expect, the machine keeps having the same problem. I ask them to come and fix it while I'm home (none of this stuff of fixing it while a teenage girl is the only one home) and to waive the first $75 fee for what I would consider a wasted trip. They said they woould not waive the $75 fee since the guy did in fact remove a few pieces of debris from the pipe. But they'd be happy to come over again for another service call fee and see if they could fix it again. It's obvious making $75 is more important to them that providing quality customer service. I manage properties and have paid Jerry's almost $1500 towards repairs within the last year. I'll give Morrison's a try. They have a pretty good reputation. Called Jerry's appliance repair to fix our Samsung fridge. They came out promptly, maybe within two days. The tech was very nice and courteous. He said it was a sensor in our freezer. They didn't have the part in stock, had to order. A week later, he comes back to install the part. He installs it and all goes well besides paying almost $300 for a $10 sensor. But hey it was fixed or SO WE THOUGHT. 65 days later, to the T, our freezer froze up and quit freezing again. Lost all my food and now no functional ice maker again! So I call Jerry's to ask if they warranty their parts and she tells me for 60 days. I said oh ok, I don't remember when we had y'all out but it is close to that. She said actually it has been 65 days. But we can schedule for another service call. I said no! Why so you can charge me another $300 for something that is only a temporary fix? Obviously the tech did not correctly diagnose the problem and now we are stuck with paying for another repair for the same problem the only difference this time is we will not be using Jerry's appliance repair anymore. read more

I called electroulx last Tuesday to get a washer machine that was less then 5 months old they sent someone out Friday to fix he asked what's wrong we told him it was leaking badly from all areas he said the door needed to be replaced because the rubber seal not put in and damaged and old he never opened up the washer to check and see what is wrong with it. he said we can use it it was leaking all over. he said put towels down to use it. he ordered the wrong part he said I will be out next Thursday with another guy to see what's wrong. it burns smell and stinks. it changes cycles it leaks make noise. I called elecloux they say if it was that bad then they should of called them so they can replace it free of charge . but jerrys did not then come to find out I called corporate of electoulx he told them it was a gasket he lied he did not know that he said first it was the door was not sealed then the rubber was broke and that what he orderd and it would take three days they said if it was that bad they should of been told we could of had a new one but saturdayor Monday. then jerry appliance called today canceled the appointment because the part did not come in for today and Friday. then I called electrox corporate back and said they send the right part right now and by fedx and should get there by today or tomorrow moring. then I get a call from jerry appliance that the order never went through from their ware house and that it could be until next week then 10 minutes later the part is in but they could not come out to fix it until Monday because they made appointments for tommorrow read more

before you say things good better look on google because it sure differnt, my elecctroix washer is not even a year old they jerry appliance and repair come a least ten times. they knew it could not be fixed the last i called electriox corporate they said they should of told them they tried to repair it for the tird time and di not. because the washer could of been replaced. now the last time was march 8th he did not even take it apart to fix it and see the problem he sat on the fllor working with a tablet and cell phone after he left i called electriox told them what happen first the seal of the door was supposed to be white wrong size the hoses leak and the door leak and still skipping cycles soap still in she told me to show pictures now elecytroix is up set and we are two because it flooded the laundry area it destroyed the dryer and the floor the walls base board every where this could of all been done by telling the truth to electriox. now it could cost over 10,000 to get everything fixed he said if its does not work use beach towel and call electriox . we need everything fixed and repaired the insurance said if not fixed now could and maybe spread into the next rooms. it took then three weeks for every part and then three weeks to come out. read more
