Security should be important for all customers cars especially when they are park on the outside of the repair shop. They are busy so you will have to wait a few days for the repairs to be completed. They weren't able to fix the situation and they advised me to take the truck to a dealership or to an electrical mechanic. So I went to Victory Chevrolet in Mt. Holly and the service advisor told me that I shouldn't waste any money in the vehicle because it was old and smelled liked mold, mildew and had the worst water damage he's ever seen. Needless to say I was disheartened and didn't know what to do so I looked up mechanics in the Belmont and Mount Holly area. This is where I came across R&M Auto Center, their reviews were almost perfect so I called them up and the front desk was very helpful, professional and pleasant. She set up an appointment for me relatively soon. When I arrived, I spoke with Cameron and explained the situation in detail with the brake lights, the driver's window not going down and locks not working. He assured me that it would be taken care of. He also reiterated that the diagnostics fee was $103 and if they didn't resolve the issue in the first 45 or hour then there would be an additional charge for each additional hour. I left my vehicle overnight and when they call me back the next day, to let me know what the issue was, I was worried but Leslie explained that they found the issue and it was a simple fix for the brake lights. I was extremely happy about the price because I was thinking the worst. They finished my vehicle and did my inspection as well in a timely manner. When I picked up my vehicle I was surprised that the driver's window worked and the locks on the truck worked as well and yes the brake lights were fixed. They took care of everything and didn't try to exploit the situation. Overall, I would definitely recommend R & M Auto Center for your vehicle's repairs because they are truly honest, upfront and do great work on your vehicle for a very fair price.

While providing a constant beat to drive to (and practice freestyle rapping) is was irritating as hell! I took it to another shop and they told me the tie-rods (?) were bad...had them replaced... WHUMP WHUMP! Went back and had new struts put on... WHUMP WHUMP! DAYUM! Finally something kicked in and I decided to find a local reputable company and I really hit the jackpot with Darrell's. Here's why: 1) I found them online and they had great reviews. We all know the power of a good review from happy customers! 2) After I performed my freestyle rap of what was wrong with the car, the owner Terry said "Okay, let's go drive it." What?!? I didn't realize that the other place never drove my car!! I was thrilled! 3) The diagnosis and suggested repair conversations were amazing! It was like a medical diagnosis from a really compassionate doctor. Even with the unexpected additional service I needed to get my car in tip-top shape, never once did I feel like I was being lied to or taken advantage of. Rented a car and came back to Darrell's at 8am and explained my symptoms. They knew exactly what it was likely to be (a suspension problem). I asked if it could be fixed on Friday so I could drive home. They did! And washed and detailed the car so when I picked it up Friday at 2:30 we could hit the road home confidently. He even allowed his technicians to work 45 minutes after closing to finish my alignment. JT was also very thorough with regard to explaining the service provided & what I would need later. He even matched Tire Kingdoms price! I will definitely let Roosevelt Tire work on my car again. The service was fast and the staff efficient!!! However .... he charged near $750 to replace fuel pump & 02 sensor but refused to provide an invoice of any kind, receipt for parts or record of a diagnostic report we paid $50 for ,that fee was to go toward repair, but he never applied the fee to repair! Worst of all is .. this "new" fuel pump failed just a few months later! If it was actually replaced it would be under warranty. I reached out to him & recently (finally!) he provided some Amazon receipt ( with parts totaling $92 / he charged me almost $300 for ) BUT those parts do NOT match as a fit for my son's year and model Jetta .... nor does that "Amazon" misfit match up as the fuel pump that was just removed & replaced ( w legit receipts proof of w old part physically removed & new parts with receipts ).. this was done by another legit mechanic !!! Larry stated once he received wrong fitting fuel pump initially, but could not provide receipt for the correct parts being ordered/ received. ??? Asking a mechanic to provide an invoice & receipt was is reasonable & an expected request !! Larry acted like I was crazy & disrespectful to even ask ! Like what ???? We had problems over past few months , like mentioned above fuel pump then recently completely failed . Turns out after a proper licensed mechanic did real diagnostics they determined neither part we paid was ever actually EVER replaced ! He simply used relay to get failing pump to function short term ! Our latest legit mechanic can testify he recently removed ORIGINAL pump. We have now replaced both parts . Larry did not ,but charged us for these parts and labor. He also seems he caused more issues by messing with rigging relay ! Idk , but in a nutshell, Larry stopped replying to me , refused to provide receipts for any such fitting parts / warranties , diagnostic report ... just plain refused to provide any type of invoice or attempt to do anything to make this right at all. I gave him numerous chances to provide receipts & come out & rectify /repair. He stopped responding. I have reported him to BBB. Please don't let this happen to you!! It's costing us more money, time & headache :-0 Just another FYI, according to our legit mechanic Larry also overcharged for us what he didn't even do. Unbelievable !!

Luckily I happened to find CLTMobile online! I actually invested in a mobile brake repair business about 3 years ago but have often thought how great a full service mobile mechanic would be! I messed up an electrical connection on one of my cars by accident doing some service on it. I could not fix it. My wife needed that car for work within a few days and my time was limited during that time to get it somewhere to get fixed. I called CLTmobile and got an appt booked right away. Mechanic came on time; he was super nice and very knowledgeable. He did a terrific job at a very affordable price! I will definitely be using them for all my automotive needs going forward that I can't fix myself. I love seeing the younger generation building a great and much needed business like this in Charlotte.
