Wanted to try some Alaskan Salmon. I found Jerry in searches. Many people say go to him. I like their site, it gives it that 'mom and pops' vibe. Some other sellers had too much going on and didn't get that feel, and frankly, didn't want to go through it. Came in 2 days, very quick! Would like to see some other products I see on yelp, on their site. Would be nice to try other stuff!

We got our salmon fresh from Jerry's for dinner. Awesome meats sticks as well. Went here 3x's.

Fantastic selection although it's a small place. I got the salmon sticks, jerky and fresh salmon to make dinner. I'm taking black smoked cod home. Love this place

I have ordered their frozen fish shipments a couple of times, and found service, quality and timeliness excellent.

Yikes! If you visit during working hours, you're treated to a show of workers processing fish into their final products. After hours, monitors show videos of the process. There were samples of canned smoked sockeye salmon available to try. I thought they had good smoke flavor, but canned fish isn't my favorite so I didn't buy any. The shop itself sells more than fish. There's a nice collection of local products and typical Alaskan gifts. The gifts are thoughtfully curated so you're not swimming through piles of tchotchkes. I bought some birch syrup and some chocolates. Checkout was quick.

I received my order 2 weeks later than the original promised date, they were out of halibut. I thought okay I can wait. Well all of the fish filets arrived completely thawed. I contacted them immediately with pictures of the thawed fish. Guess what they dont care and said it was normal and to just refreeze them if they were cool/cold. Hundreds of dollars on fish that we have 2 days to consume and hope we dont get food poisoning. They used 2 small ice packs and a Styrofoam container to keep them frozen. I was home when it arrived, so it didnt sit in the heat. Would not recommend this place unless you live in alaska or somewhere close by it. I saw all the videos of people ordering while on thier cruise and thought it would be perfect. Very disappointed and extremely frustrated. Their emails were also very much like not our problem.

It was not overly battered and perfectly fried. It was so fresh. The sidewinder fries were awesome! The Drive Through burger was delicious and the fries were also yummy. We got the pickles in the side - the person running the truck told us he makes the pickles. They were sooooo good. He also brought out a sample of the bbq chicken for us and it was very good. We sat at the table outside and ate the food and it was great! I will absolutely be back here the next time I am in Juneau. This place is a must-try!

While this isn't my favorite (try Sandbar), the fish is fresh and it's pretty hard to complain. Another win for fish and chips in the area. The shape of the potatoes is a bit weird looking, but surprisingly it works and they were nice and crispy. I did think the fish batter was a tad doughy on the inside, and yet a little overcooked on the outside. Not the end of the world though, and I still enjoyed it. We did stop by during the week for lunch and the truck was closed, which was a bit annoying. One of the brewery employees said this place doesn't always open reliably, for various reasons. Just something to be aware of. Better luck on the weekends. Overall it's a nice spot right next to the Alaskan Brewing Company, which has lots of great beers and a nice patio spot out back to eat your fish, have a beer, and hang out with your dog. Yum!

You do have to walk about 15 minutes, but the dining room by the water really is the best spot. As we head to the tented dining room, a bald eagle swoops across the sky and lands on a post in the pier. While this is regarded as the best king crab in Alaska, eating king crab in Juneau is actually insanely expensive. Well if you have come all this way, when in Rome? You can order the king crab legs per leg or in a combo that also includes 4 mini crab cakes, a cup of crab bisque, and rolls. If you have a group, get a bucket of crab legs. They offer both red king crabs and golden king crabs. Go with the red and don't bother with the golden. The red king crabs have more meat and have a sweeter flavor. (Also, if you bring cash, you can avoid the 3% credit card fee.) We get a couple combos including crab chowder, crab cakes, drinks, and red king crab legs, plus legs for the rest of the group. They give you a crab cracking tool. There are a couple prongs on top for holding the top of the shell in place and a sharp edge for ripping the shell open from the bottom. Watch out for the sharp pointy spikes of the shell, so tread carefully. You sort of rock the cracker up and down in a straight line lengthwise until the entire cylinder of crab is free. There are three main pieces. The biggest leg segment has the sweetest and firmest crab meat. The smaller leg segment is more tender and even juicier. The body segment has a big bundle of flaky flesh. I can't remember if I've ever had a red king crab leg all to myself, so this is definitely the most and best king crab I've ever had.

At nearly $100 for a single King Crab leg, it certainly is one of the highest "cost per bite" you'll ever have. And to be honest, it didn't taste much different than the frozen King Crab available at our local grocer's meat counter. Some folks will stand line for nearly an hour to score a seat at a shared table. The crew are friendly and once you finally order the food comes quickly. The room is small, cramped and loud. But, again - it's an experience you'll not get anywhere else. I'm glad we finally crossed this off the list, but I doubt we'll do it again.
