    Cheeseburger/twisted fries/dr pepper.

I know I came to a halibut place and ordered a cheeseburger, but this burger was the best I've had in Juneau. Cooked perfectly and I upgraded to the twisted fries. So great Fresh ingredients, great bun. Everything was perfect. $1 for a can of Dr Pepper. Cheers This is my go to place for a burger. Yummy. Oh. Did I mention it was very well priced.

Great little stop with a huge menu. We rallied up to get a couple hot dogs because their sign caught our eye while driving by. They have burgers, seafood, and of course hot dogs. Lots of extra toppings lots of flavors. I'll go back.

My coworker and I decided to enjoy the beautiful weather in Juneau today. The temperature was 79 degrees. We decided to check out The Wild Alaskan. We both decided to have the halibut Baha Mexican corn taco with spicy aioli and cabbage mix and salsa served with fresh lime. When you squeeze that fresh lime over the fish tacos it opens up pandora's box of flavor. The tacos were delicious and I will have to return for the halibut sliders and their very weird shape fries. When you visit Juneau, Alaska you must visit the food trucks they will give you the best taste of Alaska. To my Yelpers let's continue to eat our way through the world one day at a time. #Foodie4life.

Since the re opening it has improved a lot. This is easily the best burger in Juneau right now and very juicy. If you're visiting then get one of everything while you can! The sliders are great with a mild spice that fits almost everyone's taste. The tacos are great with a lime slice. The staff is always nice. You can look them up on Facebook and pay for your order there then pick it up.

The Wild Alaskan food truck, located in a parking lot next to the Alaskan Brewery, near Costco should be doing business slot better than it is, but COVID-19 is taking it's toll. Their Halibut and Chips is currently the best in Juneau. There's a couple of picnic tables to eat outside, or take your food order to dine at the brewery, or take away.

This is for sure a Juneau 5 star!! The wind is blowing like Momma Earth is pissed (she should be) and it's cold and snowraining. Ain't nobody trying to go outside right now. So I decided to order delivery. Trying to find something somewhat healthy so I tried this place out again. I ordered the Wild King Salmon. Listen it says it comes with rice and asparagus. I didn't get that. I got zucchini (it's winter in Alaska and we are in Juneau ok. ) and instead of rice I got this mind blowing delicious, strange, yet amazing version of some coon ass Cajun fried rice. This stuff is off the chain!! Soft but crispy onions, carrots, celery combined with well seasoned cajun fried rice. I don't even eat rice. In fact I was gonna tell them I didn't want rice, but I'm so thankful I forgot. Because this rice, well this rice is worth all those extra carbs that I'm gonna see on the scale!! Seriously though, cajun fried rice is a thing and it's good!! The Salmon was cooked perfect. It wasn't a very big portion but hey its Juneau. I ordered to have bearnaise on top but they put it in a container on the side and I'm actually really happy they didn't smother this amazing dish in bearnaise like I originally requested. I put the sauce on the side and have been scooping a bit with every bite. It adds a nice flavor. Oh and dessert!!! I got me an order of strawberry shortcake and man the Chef did that up too!! Almost like I made it at home. Nice plump berries, homeade glaze that wasn't too sweet and was definitely not some shit outta a can. And I'm pretty sure homeade whip to boot!! Very subtle yet delicious and HUGE. Like ima be eating strawberry shortcake for the next 4 days while I'm in Juneua. Which I'm allright with. Haha oh yeah and they deliver!!! Not to many places to eat here in Juneau that can compare. Nice job Alaskan Grill!!

    Soooo good. Perfection all around.

YUM. This was the best fish and chips I've ever had - EVER. Halibut is my favorite fish and that is exactly what this fish n chips is made of. It's pretty much what you expect from the photos - it's a small food truck/cart in Juneau in the middle of the main shopping district beside a few other similar food-truck options. They had a big bag of fresh, non-frozen bc it was same day, Halibut sitting out and I knew this is what I was going to get. I ordered two large pieces and sat while they prepared it fresh. The fires were delicious and perfectly cooked and that fresh halibut was perfect. It was so good. The breading and seasoning were so delicious. The fresh tartar sauce was a nice touch but honestly, it's so good, it doesn't really need anything on top of it. They have a few picnic tables with covering to protect from sun/rain where you can enjoy your goodies and have napkins and vinegar in ample supply. Very friendly and prompt food service. I'm not kidding - I wish I could eat these fish n chips at least once a week for the rest of my life. I feel like I've been ruined. If you are nearby - you must try these. I promise you will not regret it.

Halibut sliders are great. Good portion for the money. Friendly cook. Expect 10-15 minute wait. Bring cash

So mediocre. The fish n chips were overcioked, dry, greasy, and left a HORRIBLE taste in our mouths. Too expensive and rarely open.

Just like everyone else, we came here after the cruise docked, we were amount the first one to get off the ship and were able to get here right the way without much wait. As we sitting down for our food the line grew much longer. There is also a second location that has less wait. We ordered the Red King Crab that's feeds 6-8 people, if you like crab it will feed like 4 lol, the crab tasted sweet and fresh. Also bisque tasted amazing. But this place is expensive, we paid almost $800 for it. Is it worth it? I will say if you are the first time in Alaska you should try it. Will I do it again? Yes if we have the budget to, but I will ordered the small amount and other things. We have a large group that is why is so much more expensive. I have a great experience at this restaurant, the service from the staff is excellent and they really know what they are doing. If you have the budget to come here, try it, it is once in a lifetime experience.

You do have to walk about 15 minutes, but the dining room by the water really is the best spot. As we head to the tented dining room, a bald eagle swoops across the sky and lands on a post in the pier. While this is regarded as the best king crab in Alaska, eating king crab in Juneau is actually insanely expensive. Well if you have come all this way, when in Rome? You can order the king crab legs per leg or in a combo that also includes 4 mini crab cakes, a cup of crab bisque, and rolls. If you have a group, get a bucket of crab legs. They offer both red king crabs and golden king crabs. Go with the red and don't bother with the golden. The red king crabs have more meat and have a sweeter flavor. (Also, if you bring cash, you can avoid the 3% credit card fee.) We get a couple combos including crab chowder, crab cakes, drinks, and red king crab legs, plus legs for the rest of the group. They give you a crab cracking tool. There are a couple prongs on top for holding the top of the shell in place and a sharp edge for ripping the shell open from the bottom. Watch out for the sharp pointy spikes of the shell, so tread carefully. You sort of rock the cracker up and down in a straight line lengthwise until the entire cylinder of crab is free. There are three main pieces. The biggest leg segment has the sweetest and firmest crab meat. The smaller leg segment is more tender and even juicier. The body segment has a big bundle of flaky flesh. I can't remember if I've ever had a red king crab leg all to myself, so this is definitely the most and best king crab I've ever had.

The shells were easy to get through with their little tool (I called it the can opener) which you use to split the shells. We had a great time and the crab was amazing!

A lot of places have shrunk their calamari serving size down and serve it with an aioli that isn't always great. The basket of onion rings were crisp and hot with the right texture. I know it's frozen but it's the old fashioned onion rings that many places have changed the breading or undercooked or overcooked. Employees are very nice here. Our server was so nice. She checked on us a few times and refilled our drinks. We also had the one pound Alaskan king crab legs. It was just the way I remembered having it when restaurants used to serve Alaskan king crab legs. They're super fat meaty long legs. It was warmed up and served with lemon and butter. It was just enough for two of us. It probably would not have fed my son. He is a big eater and he would have ordered a steak. If I was hungry or had a crab craving, it might not have been enough for just me. We've also been over eating on a cruise ship for 6 days. We shared the apple crisp ala mode for dessert. It was not crisp but it did have some crumbs thrown on top like a cobbler. It was in a warm sauce and topped with ice cream. It's a cute place with a wharf view. The tables are not on top of each other. They gave us plenty of napkins and a bib too. If I lived in the area, I would be back every month for the calamari & onion rings, and yes the crab legs. The Diet Coke was perfect too, just enough syrup and carbonation. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.
